Show-Me’s Restaurant

We eat there every so often. food good .beer better. Service good if i was younger the girls would looks nice. They do but they look like there 12 yrs old. But thats what they get tips for good job.

We used to go to Show-me’s for the atmosphere and it’s changed tremendously. Food is still good, new menu is good, new dress code-​not so much.

We went in with the expectation that it was like terre haute Indiana well we were wrong the waitress came by twice in an hour and a half and the waitress’s name was Brittany W

I’ve been here several times. The wings are usually very good, as is the hurricane dog. Sometimes the wings can be too «wet,» but I usually put them on paper towels before I eat them to soak up the extra grease. The last time I was there, I’ve had great service and didn’t have to wait too long to get food.

My friend wanted to go here after a meeting. I wasn’t impressed. Great location, but lacks in some departments.

Oysters are ok, not something i would recommend though. Some of the WORST Gumbo i’ve ever had.

It is what you’d expect. Good place to watch the game. They have good chicken strips and good tenderloins.

Love their wings! Only problem is their staff acts like they’re only there for a paycheck.

I visit this location frequently (2^nd time today), before today I would have rated this location 5 stars but tonight was my last visit. The manager on duty was hosting this evening due to high volumes for the UFC Fights that we came to watch (planned on sticking around for a few hours 6 of us eating dinner and drinking) the manager on duty was out wandering, 2 of the guests at my table were standing due to a shortage of chairs so we grabbed the chair behind us, when the manager on duty noticed that we took «his» chair he, without saying a word, grabbed the chair and pulled it out from one of my guest who was sitting in it and proceeded to tell us that there was a table a few tables down that had 2 extra seats. Terrible management has pushed me away from this location, perhaps I will give them another shot in 6 months, hopefully this manager is no longer working for them.

Food is not very good. Talent is not that great either. I wouldn’t go back. Wish we would have opted for Hooters…

Worst experience I’ve ever had and id been going in with friends for years. Went in with friends for lunch and ordered our food. Waited about 25 minutes for the food. When the wings came out they were the wrong flavor so they said they’d remake them. After another 20 minutes I told the waitress I was out of time and had to meet clients and told her to cancel the order and I’d pay for the tea I’d ordered. A few minutes later the owner Mary Jo came over with the waitress carrying the wings and said «what’s the problem, you ordered the wrong thing?», I said no I’ve never ordered honey mustard but basically I’m out of time, it’s been almost an hour and I have an appointment to get back to and she said ‘well they’re done now so you can take them with you” and her tone was very harsh. I said look I have to get going before I’m late so if you want to bill me then bill me but I’m not taking wings to go. So they billed me for the food that I never got to eat. Lousy customer service by the owner! I told her neither I or my friends would be back and she said «I don’t care». lol

The place is a little rough around the edges, but plenty of TVs around. I didn’t have the wings here, but the price was ridiculously low, and the burgers were good. The waitresses here really make it special. It kinda reminds me of hooters, but with better food.

I was kinda disappointed with the quality of food, we visit Springfield once a year to see my boyfriend’s family and they would always take us to this resto but this visit it wasn’t as good as before, did they change their chef? Or it’s under new management? Better go to KFC for chicken wings …

If this place was consistent on any level I’d give it a better/​worse rating. Case in point: friends and I stop in last week as we often do and half of the draft beers were out of commission. Seems the cooler died at some point and now half of the drafts were at room temp. Decided to split some wings with friends, some were as greasy as the engine on a 72 Datsun b-​210. Some were dry as a bone.
Will they have an orange for your Blue Moon?
Hell no.
Matter of fact they got rid of Blue Moon all together.
When everything is right you get a frosted glass of ice cold Nattie and some delicious wings that just make life worth livin one more day…
On the flip side you order four kinds of beer before you come up with a winner and you get something resembling food that is probably Soylent Green, except more grease.
