This place was a problem from day one. The first month my daughter went there she was bitten by a boy. They told me it’s common and I shouldn’t worry about it. So I didn’t. The next month she was pushed down and the same boy climbed on top of her and bit her. The staff said they would talk to the parents and I wasn’t allowed to know who the assailant was for their privacy. I allowed her to stay there since it’s on a good side of town and it’s close to me so I figured these people were professionals. Wrong! I walked into her room late a few months later and the the two«teachers» were playing death metal music and allowing the children to run around as they pleased. I called and complained because I don’t want my child listening to that kind of aggressive music. In her next class they changed hands and became Kids Castle. It went even further downhill from there. The classes are understaffed and I know this because I overheard the staff talking about the fact that they have too many kids per room. I withdrew my daughter as soon as she was accepted to our new daycare that we had been on a two year waiting list for. After she had been gone a month, I received a bill from a collection agency for $ 2300. I have no idea what this is for and Kids Castle will not return my calls, answer my emails or mail my requests for an itemized bill. There are other daycares in this area, I suggest you choose them. I really wish I had not put my daughter through this ordeal.

Pleasant Park is a wonderful facility. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and very attentive to each child under their care. The teacher to staff ratio is low which helps teachers fully understand and appreciate each child’s wants and needs. My toddler has never attended daycare prior to Pleasant Park making the transition from home to daycare a bit difficult, but after a few visits my son showed excitement when arriving at daycare. Surprisingly, he also wanted to stick around for a bit when I picked him up. Another great aspect of this daycare is the structure. The have daily schedules that keep the kids busy but also allow for independent play. There is a cook on staff and meals are served warm. And best of all the place is clean, open(as in not claustrophobic), and affordable. I highly recommend Pleasant Park.
