Pizza Bazzano Restaurant

Sadly, the pizza just isn’t that good here. It is reminiscent of Pizza Hut… So if you like that kind of pie, you’ll love it. If you want real pizza, you’ll need to go elsewhere. They were all very pleasant though! Nice neighborhood vibe inside.

Been living in the neighborhood for quite a while, finally decided to give this place a try. As soon as I’m placing my order there is a huge F ing roach crawling behind the lady taking my order, told her never mind and walked out. Shoulda stuck with my gut feeling this place was disgusting!

I like Pizza Bazzano. They are never very crowded, which worried me at first, but I guess is kind of to be expected. They are tucked away in the corner of a shopping center next to and partially hidden by a 7 – 11. So I’m not sure people even know they are there.
They also don’t deliver, or I would probably order from them more often.
But they are always accurate with their estimated time and I have always thought the people at the counter were very nice.
Safeway has a bathroom btw for the Unilocalers that just want that.
I love their pepperoni sheet pizza and their wings, actually I can’t really describe anything else on their menu since that’s all we ever get. Their wings are pricey, they ring in at a dollar a pop, but they are DELICIOUS. They are always perfectly crispy and seasoned just the way I like them. A large pizza and two order of wings will run you $ 20, so not too shabby for a once in a while treat.

Moved into the neighborhood and wanted to try the local flavor. Called them up and asked if I could put in an order for delivery. They said they don’t deliver. That’s fine but before i could place an order for pickup they had already hung up on me.
I have no problems taking my business elsewhere.

DO NOT support or spend any $ at this location. They refused to let my 2 year old son use the restroom. They threatened to call the police. I offered to call 911 for them for refusing a minor. As you may read there are others including a pregnant lady that were denied access. Please boycott and share…

Probably got off to a bad start because upon arrival after waiting several minutes to figure out if we seat ourselves or wait to be seated, I asked if I can use the restroom and the response was we don’t have one. Thankfully, I had the knowledge to let them know we are planning to eat and she directed us to one. Honestly, I almost just said we would go somewhere else. Bathroom was dirty, had a thick film of finger prints on door.
Order food, food comes. Salad had dressing already on it and was way too much dressing. My mini pizza had a hair in it. Waited 20 minutes before we saw a server, not our own. Another table actually pointed her to go to our table. Someone who works there or is family was eating crackers, refilling her own drink drink watching tv. However, there are no free refills on fountain soda for guests who are actually paying for food!!! My companion was finished with her food before my replacement pizza came out and still no server even came out to clarify it was even coming. Could use a few more napkins, maybe even a server! It’s been almost 30 minutes since our food initially came out. Actually a different server came and said she is taking it off my bill but no pizza was coming. When I said I actually wanted to eat she said okay then came back and said it was not hair it was hair from my jacket. That was sitting no where by the pizza. Really? she said she was the manager so it was mute to argue with her. I suggested she next time just apologize and not blame the customer but she continued to blame the piece of hair in the middle of my pizza between the two slices on my coat which was never near the pizza dish. This place may have good pizza and be good to their regulars but they will never get my business again.

Having a pizza place close by was something I looked forward to at first — until I tried it. The pizza was sub-​Pizza Hut quality. I tried their meatball sandwich and concur with another reviewer’s comments — the sauce was below Ragu in quality, the meatballs were overdone and tasteless, and the roll was something that you could purchase from the Safeway.
I’m also from Northern NJ and grew up in the NYC suburbs — this place wouldn’t have lasted a week up there. I feel bad for folks that believe this is good pizza.

I’m not sure why there are negative reviews for this place especially from someone who didn’t even eat there. It sucks you had to go to the bathroom, but it’s clearly marked that the restroom is for customers only.
I really like this place. The lady at the front is always very friendly and nice to me. I like to get the pizza specials they run each day. The pizza tastes really good for the price and is a welcome change from the pizza at the chains.

Another close-​by neighborhood disappointment. Nice folk but the pizza has cheap ingredients and is not at all to my liking. Meatball sub was rubbery, over-​breaded, bland and did not taste fresh at all. The roll barley better than a hot dog bun. Im from Northern NJ and this sort of ‘Italian’ just makes me sad…

The pizza isn’t anything special. The crust is similar to Pizza Hut’s, so if you’re into that maybe you will like this. The interior is kind of dingy but has that homey mom and pop feel to it. The fact that there are no refills on fountain sodas is kind of ridiculous IMO. I won’t be back…

LOVE the square pizza at Bazzano’s! I grew up in the area and have never had a bad experience in over 30 years! Even though I moved out of the state years ago I make a point of going back each time I am in town. In fact they even helped a buddy of mine mail me a pizza once! Try it and you’ll love it too.

I’ve always only had their pizza so my review is solely based on their pizza. Their pizzas are amazing! It’s not like pizzas from Papa John’s/Domino’s etc, but it’s quite delicious. I also like to get a pitcher of Bud, and it comes with a frozen beer stein. Their interior décor is quite old but it’s nice and homey with a genuinely retro feel. They also have telemundo on all the time but telenovelas are always amusing so I have no problem with that.

The restaurant clearly states on the door the restrooms are for paying patrons only. After all, it’s a restaurant own by a private citizen, not a public restroom service station. I’ve never had a problem with using their restroom but then again I always order food when I enter the premise.

Great food at a great price and at a relaxed atmosphere. Apparently [since i’m the first to review this] this place isn’t that well known, which is a shame. They’ve got a pretty wide menu [pizza, italian, subs, salads, appetizers], though i’d mostly recommend the sub platters w fries. Great place for both carryout or eating there.
