I have been to the Campbell location twice now. The first time was rather pleasant and I walked away with a decent cut from Stephanie. The second time, however, was absolutely terrible. I booked an appointment online with Erik. I arrived to my appointment and was seated for my haircut on time. I showed Erik a picture of the short haircut I was looking for and asked him to cut it as short as possible on the sides and back. I didn’t think«as short as possible» left much to interpretation and expected a no-guard shave. With my back to the mirror the entire time, I couldn’t really tell how much progress was being made. When he finally spun me around, I was met with disappointment. The back and sides were still much longer than I wanted, and the only part he cut on the top was the front. The top middle and top back of my hair was the same length as when I had walked in. I told him I wanted it to be much shorter and I was met with his response of «Well, I don’t have time to fix it.» I was speechless at that point as I have never been talked to like that from an establishment that seemingly prides itself on it’s customer relations. I didn’t feel like contesting this remark and simply paid my bill and left. Erik’s closing remarks hit me as rather ironic: «Hey man, next time I’ll get it cut shorter for you.» I don’t think there will be a next time.

I’m a Hudson Hawk regular, but had never been to the South Campbell location. It is just off of Walnut Lawn make sure you turn in the Kia dealership for quick access to their parking lot. The shop is clean and well maintained. If you’ve never had a Hudson Hawk experience you should definitely give it a try! From their shaves to their quality cuts from professional barbers Hudson Hawk is my choice for an upscale barbershop experience at an affordable price.
