They took a bunch of pvc pipe and 2x4s and built 27 holes. It’s all recycled material. Even the turf is just old blue carpet from some torn down building. They advertise 54 but that’s if you play the 27 holes twice. Pretty shady. They blast Justin bieber the whole time. 10 $ a person which seems steep. The 11 year old I was with said about 2 holes into our game«this is lame». Yup, That pretty much sums it up…

Not particularly high tech, but the staff was very helpful and pleasant, the laser room was fantastic, and there are no other mini-golf winter options in northern Virginia. It wasn’t a bad price, and it was very exciting for our 2 and 4 year olds and I think it will be for the next 5 or 6 years. I suspect that if you get a lot of teenagers or drunk college kids it would get obnoxious. I greatly appreciate that the holes are handicapped accessible even though nobody in my party was handicapped. The reviews are right that it’s painted 2x4s in an open room with black light, but I contend that you aren’t going to get Disneyworld for $ 9. I think if they keep building(for example, create more features that keep the flow moving instead of a wide open room and more raised greens instead of just raised holes that are easy to miss for little people) they could get to 5 stars. My kids still talk about the loop de loop under the turtle.

I tagged along with a friend meeting a group here. For $ 9 you get 18 holes of mini golf in a black-light lit room. It’s a good place for kids to enjoy and is surprisingly handicap accessible. A young lady in the group was wheelchair bound and was still able to participate and have fun. Because the space is tight, there is a constant bottleneck effect from hole to hole. After 2 hours we had only reached hole #8 because the groups ahead were pretty slow. Overall, the place is very simple. A bit of glow in the dark imagery and paint splattered on 2x4s… Nothing spectacular but for $ 9 and a simple evening of activity, not bad.

It’s advertised to have 54 holes or something, but has 26 ‘courses’ a few of which have the same exact layout. It’s a cute concept, but the décor is certainly home made, to the point I think they grade schoolers could do a better job. If you’re looking for a place to entertain your little ones, I think it’s still kinda pricey for what it is $ 8 for those aged 5 – 12. The courses are crammed in there, with 2 holes in something that was probably office space. If you make it to the last hole and get the hole in one, you have a choice of: 1. a pass to return 2. a token for the laser maze which is probably the most fun thing in there.
