It looks like a good place for lunch and dinner but not at all, they have crapy chinese food, horrible sushi bars(im a sushi lover). If you noticed there is not a single asian in the resturant in the rush hour during the day or at most of the dinner time. The price is considered cheap comparing to other asian reaturant. Well you really pay for what you got here i wont expect alot from the resturant. And the only people who dine here in my opinion they never know what the chinese and japanese food really tastes like. Probably not gonna come back here again

I visited this buffet for the first time today. The food was pretty bad. But even worse was I saw the Hibachi chef set a gentleman on fire, and then do absolutely nothing as he had to put the flames that encompassed his body out. There did not appear to be any manager present to deal with the situation, though one employee did have the wherewithal to point and laugh.

I just got lit on fire by the hibachi chef while he was trying to impress a group of teenagers who wanted to see how far he could make flames fly. Well, turns out they fly pretty far when attached to burning oil that he mistakenly shot on me while I was standing a good 10′ away. Then the manager pointed and laughed at me along while a class full of kids stood by shocked as I put out the flames myself. When I suggested that they comp the meal for myself and my 5 coworkers, the manager accused me of standing too close to the flames to which I retorted that perhaps the hibachi chef shouldn’t try to impress teenagers with fire tricks at 12:30 on a Tuesday and that I was 10 feet away and behind their safety glass. He then suggested I shouldn’t curse or make a scene. After that, he told my coworkers that they should still have to pay but he would understand if they didn’t want to(he was going to comp me — how generous of him — and then he wished us a Merry Xmas). We left. But as my coworker so carefully reminded us in the comment below, they are open on Xmas and you should definitely go if you have family members you want incinerated as it’s both dangerous and delicious.

Cheap eats. You get what you pay for. Sushi made from previously frozen fish. Soft serve ice cream was okay, not the best but not the worst either. Service was great, workers had a great personality and was quick to Refill drinks. Good selections. I would try this place again. Has potential.

My husband has fond memories of this place from his high school days, and we both wanted Chinese food today so off we went. Chinese food tends to be pretty standard… this was bad. It was either greasy or burnt. The meat was very low quality — not edible, really. The lo mein was decent, and that is truly the nicest thing I have to say about our experience. We won’t be back.

I tend not to rate places after just one try, but I wanted to add my two cents. The food was very greasy, or very dry, but not beyond what is typical of Chinese buffets. It’s a hair better in quality, but not much in selection. There aren’t sufficient options for vegetarians there unless you love fried eggs and roasted potatoes. The seafood wasn’t bad. I had to spit out a piece of sushi that might have been lingering there too long. The guy working the cash register was cheeky and entertaining. Some people who are complaining that the servers have attitudes. I too noticed that the servers did not appear happy. The service was fine, though, and I saw enough attempts at a smile. In general, I got a real sense of them not wanting to be there. I think it’s important that we as customers enlighten ourselves to the fact that sometimes in places like this, that’s exactly the case: the employees aren’t necessarily being treated well, which might be why they’re miserable. We all know what it’s like to have a crappy boss. Imagine that in a foreign country. I don’t know anything about this establishment, but in general, keep in mind that it’s not unheard of for some workers like these to be both employed and housed by the same people, and maybe that’s not exactly a great experience.

Good Asian Buffet, which is to say; For people who like this sort of place, this is the sort of place they like. Clean bright atmosphere, attentive staff, a wide variety of foods, an impressive variety of seafood. If you don’t get your money’s worth, you are not really trying.

I just got home from eating here and I HAVE A FOODBABYAND A FOODCRAMP. That’s how you know that you ate well. To be honest, a lot of these reviews are absolutely correct. The food can be too dry or to greasy, but overall, it is a good experience for me. If you don’t like something, you can pick something else. It’s that simple. The employees are also very pleasant and I enjoy the fact that they aren’t down your throat while your eating. I love that they leave you alone to eat, instead of standing over you the entire time. Overall, I like this place and my husband and I will continue to come here.

Came here for Christmas. The place was packed, so there was a good turnover on hot items. I would not come here for the sushi. The one thing good was that it was by the door, so it was cold. There was someone making the sushi, so I don’t know what the other person saw when they were there. The other items are okay. I love squid, so I was happy to see it. Unhappy that I couldn’t even cut through it. Oddly enough, I could chew it, though. The sweet and sour chicken was very tasty and the chicken was moist. Mushrooms and General Tso’s chicken were good. I don’t remember much else.

I don’t know why we drive so far to come here, but my parents like this place… Its dated and there isn’t much variety coupled with the fact that its about $ 12/person for food that is mediocre. But we always come back because we’ve been here years ago and just continue to return out of habit plus its next to a puppy store(ah– puppy mills– choo!). I will admit that we go into the store and admire the cute puppies but never buy anything there because it would obviously be contributing to the suffering that their parents and other dogs go through in the puppy mills. Anyway, overall this place is about a 2.5−3. Its alright. I’ll be back, but it definitely could use lots of improvements. And they really should consider doing so since there is a giant, brand new chinese buffet less than a quarter mile down the road.

This has one of the nastiest bathrooms i have ever used or seen! AVOID use at all cost. On 10÷24÷14, that as changed, it is better but door does not lock, not for handicapped AND still, not so clean… BUT it is better than Denny’s! The Sushi is not made by trained Sushi Chefs as Margaret Kuo’s but it is better than nothing, Whole Foods has better sushi. i come here for the Salt and Pepper Shrimp. Nothing is outrageously bad. The Pizza offering is a great opened face grilled cheese, the meat loaf gives any greasy spoon a run for their money. Its cheap oriental buffet food with Hibachi Offerings that depending on the day of the week you makes a great way to stretch out your time here. We try to make more trips to Pearl or Sampan than here; but when hungry and on the Pike we come back. The manager took the time to address the points made in my review. Discounts are no big deal for me. They are making an attempt to resolve the issue of the Bathroom, when they do another star will be added. Would hate to see this spot become a strip mall-hair and nail salon; will continue to eat here but not as as an end of the world if not.

I think the food has been out on this buffet since the Ming dynasty. Burnt wontons and yet they were cold. Very small selection. Won’t go back.

Let me start by saying dinner is $ 10.59. Big Piece of advice look else were. Very few food selection. The food they serve is oily or very dry tasting. Sushi? i didn’t even try iT. But i can say it didn’t look appetizing. You know what they say. if it looks good eat it! But this place doesn’t apply here. I could go on and on with negative things but I’m pretty sure you guys get the hint… I only gave it a star because it wont let me write a review without it!

Food was good… Fresh and clean dining area… attentive staff. Very expensive though. Two kids ages 5 and 12 and an adult cost $ 36. Not including the tip!

Love a good old Chinese buffet, but this place is sad and depressing. Not too many choices and the food looks like it’s been sitting around all day. Haven’t tried the Mongolian grill, that may be your best bet for fresher pickings. Overall, I just plan to steer clear of this place. I don’t like saying this about any place, but I can’t recommend this to anyone.

It is rare that I downgrade a place. But we definitely now have a «Meh, I’ve experienced better» situation here. The issue here is that I’ve had decent meals here in the past. But this week after stopping there because I needed a quick bite on the way home at 8:30pm, I had a meal that not only just didn’t even taste close to fresh, it affected me gastronomically as well. I wasn’t poisoned by any means, but let’s just say my insides let me have it later. They have a battered tempura sushi option that I tried which I can honestly say that I had no idea what I ate. I can tell you that it was cold, clammy, and chewy. These are not good signs. I decided I would go for more Americanized options after that. I tried the barbecue chicken and it lacked flavor, but didn’t lack grease. I had wonton soup, and the wontons tasted like they had been sitting out for hours. I even tried the pizza, and… well, actually the pizza wasn’t terrible. It was good for Chinese buffet pizza, 98% cheese and maybe 2% sauce. I needed to have some ice cream just to say I ate something pretty good. I didn’t go for the hibachi, basically because the hibachi grill guy disappeared. And the waitstaff… well, let’s just say that you wonder when a waitress walks past your table with a water pitcher, looks right at your empty water glass, fills up someone else’s water, then puts the pitcher back and walks away. I’ll be fair and say that maybe I can chalk this up to visiting closer to 9pm. Perhaps you’ll have a better experience if you visit at a different time.

A Hibachi Grill has been added to this Springfield staple. You know the deal. You pick a bowl full of veggies, meats, sauces, etc. and they grill it for you. The wife and I just stopped in for a quick dinner and welcomed this addition to the usual Chinese and sushi buffets that are always included. A weekday dinner cost us $ 10.59 each. Not bad. As usual the staff was friendly and the food was decent. We keep coming back because they consistently hit the mark for a quick meal while running errands on Baltimore Pike.

I’ve been to this Chinese Food buffet, abbreviated CFB many times and each time i go here and simply enjoy the food. The allure about a CFB is that you can walk in, and try many different things on the menu without having to order a lot of each. I like to walk into a restaurant and try out different things, i enjoy trying some soup, some fish dish and some apps. This place does it well and it does it at a nice cost. To the moron who went here as a Vegetarian i mean really? Have you no brains as to what they serve in these places and then to complain about it? Anyways, side rant, go here and enjoy the place for what it is a chance to eat many different things and try it out at a good price. Do not expect to be wow’d by it just enjoy it.

Wow. I haven’t had worse in a LONG time. Payed $ 10.50 or so for dinner buffet on a Thursday evening around 7pm, and I seriously considered asking for my money back. I’m vegetarian and although I didn’t expect too many options given the mainstream look of the place, the veggie options were bad: fried rice? half cooked and tasted instant. Veggie lo mein? super greasy and tasteless. Egg foo yung? super greasy and tasteless. Sushi(I occasionally indulge)? like canned tuna salad but worse, with wasabi that tastes like sawdust. Coconut dumplings? tasty, but I don’t give Dynasty credit for that, as I’m certain most of this is shipped frozen. My wife is a meat-eater, and felt like the meat could have been *anything* disguised in tons of oil and sugar and red food coloring. She said even the fake crab(which can be good & cheap) tasted super old and bland. We kept going back to the buffet thinking we might like something up there, but 1200 calories later found us regretful. I felt sorry for giving no tip which I haven’t done on purpose since a wee clueless lad. Maybe it’s significant that very few Asian-looking people were eating there? This buffet might be worth it if it costed $ 3.00.
