Daylight Donuts

We like to call them out-​of-​stock-​by-​daylight donuts. If you go any later than 730 – 8 they will basically be out of everything. Donuts are decent, if you can get the kind you want. They offer the basics, nothing new or exciting. Service is usually good. Price is reasonable for a donut shop. They are pretty much average all around.

Let me say first off that I don’t mind paying $ 7.49 for a dozen doughnuts. The problem is these doughnuts are minuscule. The people that run this shop have decided that selling half size product is a way to maximize profits. When you walk out with a box of 12 doughnuts that is half empty you realize that you just paid $ 7.49 for what is actually a half dozen. Plus the clerk this morning was a rude, snot-​nosed brat.

Stopped in about 9am and there wasn’t a huge selection. Not exactly «cheap» but not too pricey. The counter girl wasn’t all that happy to be there, and didn’t seem to care that it was my first time visiting.
The donuts were okay nothing to go crazy over. I did like that they weren’t as sweet as most donuts usually are. But they were also a bit firmer than I like; kinda the consistency of a cheap bun.

Very good doughnuts and love the drive up window. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I wish they made more doughnuts as they are always out of my favorites when I get there, but I always do find something to enjoy!

So me and my girlfriend were pretty excited to try out the new doughnut shop down the road from our new home, it was a mistake. When got there a little late in the morning around 11. I know doughnut shops open early and close around noon so we got there an hour before close not too worried about it hurting us too bad. We walk in and I couldn’t believe what I saw. There was about 3 doughnuts in the rack and a handful of doughnut holes left. Maybe I just don’t understand the doughnut world and maybe 11 o’clock was unreasonable, but c’mon! I was really excited for this place, and I have never walked out so quickly of a place of buisness. I can’t speak for the quality of the doughnut since I didn’t even get that far. I’m sure the selection is great very early, but if your looking to sleep in, cereal might be the better choice.
