This was a great little hotel for a short stay. We didn’t venture out into Springfield so I’m not sure if the location was good or not, but it was near a mall, a Target, and several chain type restaurants. However, the hotel itself was very clean and the staff = amazing. They were all so helpful and accommodating. The rooms were under construction while we were there as they are going to be completely remodeled. While I think that’s great that they want to keep the rooms modern, they honestly seemed fine as is. The room we stayed in seemed to be in good shape and again, it was clean. The beds were a little firm for my taste, but the pillows were super soft and I slept well. The room was spacious with closet space, lots of drawers, and a mini fridge. I felt comfortable, I slept well, and I felt safe. Without a doubt, I would stay here again.

Very clean, staff friendly. Still renovating so hammering between 5 p.m. To 8 a.m. On the side still not finished. Our friends were on the other side which appeared to be quite empty, so not sure why they did not fill that side. It was not a weekend and not busy. Coffee pot did not work. They did give us a free cup in the bar. Nice lounge in the bar for visiting Beds comfortable

From the front desk staff, the cafeteria, fitness center, pool, and room-everything was GREAT! I was blown away with how helpful the staff was. I stayed here over Labor Day weekend for my best friend’s wedding and the staff was extremely attentive and helpful. The location is fantastic as it is near everything! Starbucks was right next door(and in the hotel!!) as well as Target! We had to make a Target run to pick up some forgotten items and this made it very convenient. I would definitely stay here the next time I go to Springfield. The rooms were super roomy and clean. We stayed in Room 203. :)

Wifi is no good here. You pay extra for the enhanced wifi but you can’t even load a YouTube video. These hotels can never bother to invest in quality pillows either. They just brought in new pillows at this location, but they flatten within 2 minutes of laying your head on them. A general comment about Courtyard properties is that they don’t offer the same perks to Platinum Elite members like other Marriott properties. Almost every other brand will offer a free breakfast… not here.

From check in to check out this was not a good experience. I requested a room at the front of the hotel because the rooms in the rear back up to a busy, noisy highway. I was told, with no attempt to rectify the situation or make amends, there was nothing that could be done. I’m in Springfield a couple times a month and used to stay here, but the service and room condition has deteriorated in the last couple years so I started staying elsewhere, but those hotels were booked so I stayed here again. The room was no better than the service. The electric outlet on the desk didn’t work, there were cobwebs on the bedside light fixture and the pillows were of various sizes and were way past there prime., after this property was updated a few years ago and I guess they just stopped with any maintenance. There are better hotels with better prices in the area. The highlight is the woman who works in the Bistro-she is wonderful and understands good customer service.

Excellent staff and very clean rooms. A few repairs are needed but since our stay was short, we decided to mention them upon checkout. The vent in the bathroom has a switch but doesn’t appear to turn on. The wall side of the bed crackles pretty bad when walking to get in. Not sure what’s causing this but it should be looked at. The Bistro downstairs in the lobby has great food but priced similar to airport prices. I just can’t say enough about the housekeeping and front desk staff. Excellent customer service! Thursday night, warm cookies were available to the guests. We would definitely stay here again! I spoke with a gentleman from the hotel and he was genuinely concerned and appreciated the information regarding the maintenance that was needed. We will definitely be staying again should we be in the area.

Great price & rooms. Friendly staff, clean hotel & nice continental breakfast. Went on a girls trip with friends & stayed here one evening & they allowed us to bring in pizza & eat in the Lobby at one of the pub tables. Nice pool & Jacuzzi as well.

For what this is and the price it’s great. Excellent breakfast choices and Starbucks coffee options. 24 hour«grocery» selection will meet your snack or drinking desire. Decent workout and pool facility. Service was solid.

Three solid stars. It’s a clean, convenient, comfortable Courtyard. The staff were nice and my room was pretty big. You can’t miss it if you’re on 72 W and heading south. Parking is obviously free and plentiful since it’s situated in a business park area of Springfield. My quibbles are relatively small but also pretty easy to fix. Moderate quibbles: First, I walked into my room and reflexively checked the clock. It was about 20 minutes fast, compared to my watch and cell phone. So maybe the previous guest has a time management issue(hello, pot, I’m kettle) and changed the clock but then no one changed it back. Except me. Also, the main elevator(I don’t know if there’s more than one) is pretty slow, which might be because it’s also used by the housekeeping staff and their carts. There are only three floors in the hotel and the wait for the elevator was longer than you might think. Minor quibbles: Within the room itself, which as I said, was large and comfortable, the temperature was a little unruly. It was a little too warm and I eventually turned on the AC for a short time just to bring it down when my other efforts didn’t work. I fear waking up in the middle of the night in a pool of my own sweat, so I err on the side of cooler rather than warmer. Maybe you have different fears, but that is mine. I eventually got it under control. The other thing was the lighting in the bathroom area: unflattering and dim. Very small quibbles: I only ate breakfast, so I can only speak to that, but I think it’s the same for lunch and dinner. It’s a counter service setup with a limited menu that doesn’t describe some of the things adequately. The server was nice but it took a few minutes to put it together. Then when I was finished, I kicked myself for not paying attention to the people who left already, because I wasn’t sure what to do with my dishes. The server had gone into the back and I didn’t see an obvious bus-yourself setup but I walked my dishes up anyway. I think they want you to leave them but I’m not totally sure. The other very small quibble was the lack of lotion among the toiletries. My sorry, parched, pathetic hands rely on hotel lotions for sustenance when away from home but they went without. If I were coming to Springfield for fun and had a choice, I’d stay downtown at the Abraham Lincoln. But this is a very serviceable hotel for the business traveler and none of these issues were dealbreakers. I’m just detail-oriented and always see room for improvement(well, hello again, pot).
