OK. So I hate to give 1 star but the food here was awful. The one star is for the staff who are awesome. Everyone here is very nice. They greet you with a smile and really make you feel cared for. I wish that translated to the food. I ordered a panini. They are described as grilled cheese sandwiches. The chatty Kathy is supposed to be a grilled cheese with chicken. I didn’t see nor taste any cheese. It was on this dry bread and had about 5 little chunks of season less chicken on it. My bf got a corned beef sandwich. It was nice thick pieces of meat that were in essence fat and gristle. Neither of us finished the meal.

This is a cute place. We arrived here early on Saturday morning to find the place packed. But they have a really efficient operation going, and the service was quick and friendly. Their baked egg dishes are really good-I enjoyed their egg with rosemary and roasted potato. It had an almost cake like consistency, which I learned was due to heavy cream and whole grains. A problem for my waist but I loved every bite! Café Moxo is a great bang for your buck option.

Cafeteria style, everything tasted good but I wasn’t impressed enough to return. Especially since it’s downtown and I live on the west side.

One of our favorite spots. Maybe the freshest food around with salads, soups and sandwiches – all made on site, and I haven’t started on breakfast. Coffee is very good, and we are picky. Staff are very friendly, helpful. Mike(manager) and Mark(owner) are happy to make you happy. My only regret is the cupcakes were discontinued. They were delicious and unique.

Chicken Pot Pie is a must have, but so is the BLT with peanut butter. Yes that is correct BLTPB! Try it, it’s awesome! Very good coffee, too. If you are looking for lunch in SPI, look no further. Clean, fast, a little trendy and delicious.

Very hip and trendy — and well played. They have huge piles of gianormous mouthwatering cookies at the front counter so you have no choice but to wag your head yes when the clerk offers to sell you one. And it tastes as good as it looks. The food is good, too. Lovely creative sandwiches. Flaky mouthwatering pot pies(they are a little heavy with the Rosemary). Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is walking distance from most downtown Lincoln spots.

Absolutely love their biscuits and gravy, service is excellent. I truly enjoy coming to get my morning breakfast from this place. Lunch has always been packed when I come, but its worth the wait, the chicken pot pie is amazing!

Great food & soup but a bit too overpriced. That being said, any time I’m downtown Moxo will always be an option for lunch.

My favorite lunch spot in Springfield. Consistently good sandwiches, soups, pot pies, cookies… everything is great. My usual is the Medley bag lunch which includes a sandwich, chips, drink, and a cookie(I prefer the BreeAnn cookie with oatmeal, chocolate chips, raisin, other stuff). The staff is also very friendly and attentive, despite the fact that this is one of the busiest places in downtown Springfield. They also deliver which is helpful to folks working during session in the Capitol.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, best café I’ve even been to. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

I am not sure how this place has this many glowing reviews. The sandwich was very mediocre. Plain white bread, cold cuts, sliced cheese. I can make that at home. Presentation was very fast food style. Bread was actually a little stale. Maybe I’m spoiled, but I’ll keep looking. I would have tried the pot pie, but they ran out early in the day.

We have been here two different times. The first time I had the Piggly Wiggly pulled pork sandwich on the pretzel bun and I thought it was amazing! My husband had the Reuben and it was just as fabulous. I love that we automatically got a chocolate chip cookie it was oh so good! Another time I went in with a friend for my birthday and got a chicken pot pie, cookie and drink for $ 9. Best money I’ve spent on food in a while! I will definitely be coming back to café moxo for chicken pot pie regularly this winter! All the staff were personable! They all seem like they were having a lot of fun. Can’t wait to go back!

I had the tomato bisque soup today and it was SO good! I also love the chicken noodle soup. Everything was great and I’ll be coming back for both of these soups!

Chicken pot pie and a fresh cookie. If you don’t try this here you’re going to slap yourself for the poor decision making you had. Trust me, you won’t regret it. A fun location with tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Right downtown and a front row seat for people watching or grabbing a bite after the farmers market right out front. These are the types of places that deserve every good review they get. The service was fast, the answers to all mum questions were readily available and they truly want you to have a good dining experience. Go here, eat, be happy.

Very friendly, happy staff. I’ve been to Café Moxo multiple times and I’ve never had bad service, even when the line to order is backed up to the door. The food is great. The chicken noodle soup is honestly the best chicken noodle soup I’ve ever eaten. When my significant other’s grandmother was hospitalized I brought her some of the chicken and noodle soup. She’s owned and operated a steak and seafood house for years, so she’s a tough critic and she thought it was really good. I love the Gobble Gobble sandwich, it’s so unique. And I could eat their pasta salad all day. It’s a little expensive for what it is, but the options are relatively healthy and tasty.

Would go back anytime! Had a very tasty breakfast burrito washed down with a large cup of espresso called the salty dog. Highly recommend coming here for breakfast/brunch/lunch!

We dropped by here after visiting the Lincoln Library. Really neat atmosphere! The staff are really friendly! I got the soup and grilled cheese. The soup was on the saltier side, but still hearty. The grilled cheese was something else, smashed thin, gooey cheese with bacon! Drol about it! The cookies were fun! It was past closing time and they still had a bunch of cookies and cakes, we asked and they offered us a deal on a stack of 5 cookies! What fun!
