Karina Dominican

Karina was my stylist back when «sexy hair» was still in existence. She has since moved to Marisol’s.
Now, I understand that the hair styling is a business but product should always come before payment.
Previous to the situation in which I am going to describe Karina did a sub par job but still extended her palm for payment.
On one occasion she styled my hair and when complete my scalp was white with flakes. She applied no product to solve the problem nor did she offer any other solution.
I always bring my own products. On this occasion my hair came out significantly different than the other times. My hair was heavy and significantly greasier than any other previous occasion. Instead of pondering her own behavior, Karina blames me and my products. Mind you, I’ve been patronizing Karina for years and I always bring my own products. On my way out Karina screams at me in front of a shop full of customers that I am to blame for my hair dissatisfaction.
Steer clear of Karina, and find a stylist who respects you and your hair.

They do fantastic hair but the salon isn’t as clean as it once was. There are always children around taking up seating in the waiting area. It’s becoming a little less professional.
Like I said they do great hair for a terrific price but I wish the service and atmosphere matched. I’d be wiling to pay more for professionalism and cleanliness.
