Subpar on every level imaginable… but you have to start somewhere, so here I go. The chips, you know, the ones that come with«chips and salsa»? Yeah, those chips. They looked, tasted and behaved just as you’d expect out of a huge generic bag that you’d find in Walmart. Guacamole? It was this cream’ified sort of paste with bits of onion mixed in… and it was cold, really cold, like just pulled out of some huge vat in a freezer cold. Want a salad? They shred iceberg lettuce to the consistency of fine confetti and call that«salad». I can’t say that the service was horrible, but watching the obese guy working behind the counter trying to sexually harass the waitresses with long, un-returned hugs and pressing them up against the counter made want to smack him, then bathe with a brillo pad and bleach. Go to Oscars just down the street, trust me… give this place a wide and quick pass.

Simply awesome food. We dined outside in mid February. No crowd. Weather was perfect. Excellent salsa and guacamole. Everything was very fresh. Would definitely recommend.

Lunch and margaritas after hiking… Great family owned place. If I weren’t hungry I might rate lower but honestly, I respect a small family owned restaurant. One more tip to the owner– fajitas should take longer than 4 minutes. The fact that everything is served within 3 – 5 minutes of ordering is great in fast food, but restaurant quality should be cooked fresh, not microwaved.

Love this Super Authentic Mexican Restaurant! Service was wonderful and loved the burrito, chicken hard taco, beef soft taco, and margaritas!

There are better places in Springdale. The complimentary chips were no good, the salsa was ok. I had the chimichanga, which was not too bad. The service and atmosphere was not good. The girl who was serving had more interest in talking to the cook than serving the place.

Had a simple carne asada burrito, split it with my dear husband, and was enough to fuel us up after an afternoon hike and a drive to Vegas ahead of us. We also split a quesadilla, which was delicious. They werent stingy on the mozarella cheese. The tomatillo-avocado sauce and pico de gallo served with the chips are not spicy at all, but good. That was all I was left needing, some spicy hot sauce for the burrito. Good food at a good value considering they can charge a lot more for their location right outside a national park.

Was craving Mexican and this was the only option for that in December. Standard menu selection and I opted for the Chimichanga, which ended up as a solid choice. Chips & Salsa were good but their guacamole wasn’t really guacamole. Other than that it’s Mexican if you want Mexican.

Great place for authentic Mexican food. Had dinner there the other night with my husband. The complimentary chips and salsa were great. The chips taste homemade and were thick; the way we like them. I got the tacos with beef and my husband got the tacos with chicken. The wait staff was attentive and provided great customer service. I don’t know what those other people(who have rated this place low) are talking about but casa de amigos is great alternative to the«Tex Mex» places in town. Give it a try!

Don’t waste your time. Came here after hiking in Zion for a margarita. My margarita was way too sweet and nearly undrinkable. We ordered nachos which after 45 minutes never came. We left immediately after verifying the nachos were not even started yet. Waste of nearly an hour. Don’t make the same mistake as me, listen to the other reviews and don’t come here.

Okayish food, slower service but the Salsa is good(gave 2 stars for that). I would recommend trying Oscars even if it has more wait… Oh, they also don’t want you to use their wifi. WTF?

Had dinner here after spending the day in Zion National Park and was very hungry. Staff sat us down and brought us chips and salsa but I noticed they charge you for the chips and salsa, not sure if they did but on the menu it states a price, they were good warm chips and the salsa was medium and okay. Ordered some guacamole and it was okay but you can see that it wasn’t whole avocado more like avocado with a mix and then tomato and onions. Wasn’t bad but wasn’t great, did the job though. Had the carne asada plate that came with beans and rice, I enjoyed the beans and rice but my friend that cooks pointed out that the rice was dry and the beans had lard(I didn’t care, they were both good), the asada was thin but a huge portion of it, enough to make 4 big tacos with. Had my plate with flour tortillas(3 per order) where my friend got hers with 4 corn tortillas. Place was full inside but I’m sure in the summer the patio must be nice to sit and enjoy the view. Maybe some day I will return and try other options.

Nothing special food-wise. Serviceable standard Mexican fare. My wife and I were under-awed. It was enjoyable to sit on the patio and observe the comings and goings in Springdale. Service was ordinary. I must point out that the restaurant filled up quickly after our 5:30 arrival and was packed when we left. Perhaps the other diners were also first timers.
