Went to this place a month ago, first the food was horrible. Second, the lady who helped us was on the phone the whole time she didn’t even apologize for that. Just imagine taking your two little kids to a place where you can have a quick dinner and the employee acting like she doesn’t care not about you nor about the order. Will never go back.

This place is my go to place since it’s right across from where I live. I will go grocery shopping while they prepare my Food. I get their combo which comes with one grilled chicken kabob, one grilled beef kabob and 4 pieces of grilled pepper steak with rice and naan on the side. I usually share this with another person and order a side of rice. The guys that work their are extremely nice and helpful.

Great food! One of the better shwarmas in the area. The service is the reason didn’t give it 5 stars… they can definitely be more friendly.

Best Mediterranean food so far. The Chicken«Tika» Kabob is delicious, so juicy and well seasoned. I’m addicted to it. The garlic sauce is amazing. I want to drown my kabob in it. Other than the chicken kabob everything else is okay good.

Being from the middle east myself, I tend to be picky about the food from the area. This is a small restaurant tucked in a strip mall. The overall exterior or interior is not very impressive. It seems like a fast food joint which has been converted into a gourmet Mediterranean restaurant. The food experience there was just average. The chicken shawarma that I ordered was just about average and the rice along side was somewhat chewy, not the way you expect Mediterranean rice to be. The hummus was very bland and did not inspire much granularity or taste for that matter. I think if most locals tried it, they would rate it higher, but I think 3 star is a fair assessment for all those who are regulars at Mediterranean food.

So I was in the Tomball area for the day and ended up trying Zamani. I had the chicken shawarma with a side of fries and it was really good! The service was fast and the food was very delicious! The restaurant is connected to a nice grocery store and the grocery store has awesome items. Now mainly the items are indo-pak and Mediterranean but they have a decent amount of items. Cool place!

Snippy arrogant too busy counting money young woman at the register — who could not be bothered letting me know it was going to take 10 min to get heated up shawarma(which has never been a problem before). Not the only Middle Eastern place in NW Harris county– too bad

This is no glamorous restaurant but they sure do serve a glamorous tasting shawarma. This little restaurant, sibling to a Mediterranean grocery store next door, is clean and comfortable – sometimes packed with families getting their fill of mouthwatering Mediterranean food. Customers at Zamani always seem to be savoring their food and I’m sure when I’m dining here, I look like I am too. I’ve ordered both the chicken and beef/lamb shawarma. They’re both equally delicious. The pita bread is soft and slightly salted, the meat is flavorful and tender, and the garlic sauce inside is unique and full of zesty garlic flavor without being overpowering. What I love about the shawarma at this restaurant is that it doesn’t sit heavy on the stomach or the tongue. The flavors are gentle and they don’t punch you in the tastebuds or stomach too hard – like some gyro sandwiches at other restaurants. That being said, Zamani doesn’t serve gyro sandwiches. Zamani serves shawarma sandwiches and trust me, they’re oh so good. Order some fries on the side of your sandwich… they’re mad tasty!

It is good on most days. The kababs, shawerma, etc are very flavorful. The people are nice. My typical lunch spot at least once a week.

If you’re up north and craving good Mediterranean food, make your way to Zamani. It’s a little hole in the wall restaurant that is home to seriously the best chicken shawarma on this side of town. I often come for lunch and get the chicken shawarma wrap combo with fries and a drink. Sure it’s a little pricey and it’s definitely no Phoenicia or Fadi’s, but it’s delicious, filling and hits all the right spots. Other items I recommend: hummus, falafel, tabouli and fattoush salad. I have yet to try their kabobs or even their shawarma plates, but I’ve heard good things about them. FYI: If they ask you if you want garlic in your shawarma, say yes because they’re referring to the garlic butter sauce, which is pretty bomb. They also don’t serve gyros. The bathroom is in the market, to the right. And there isn’t proper ventilation in the restaurant so it can get pretty smoky/stuffy inside and you may or may not stink afterwards.

The food is very good, been there twice, the only thing is that the pita bread gets cold fast and hard, everything else is great, love the chicken shawarma with humus. Wish they will keep the dinning area cleaner.

Little hole in the wall place on Louetta at Old Louetta. I went to their store to find rose water for a recipe but walked away with rose essence and orange blossom essence, two small bottles, a dollar each. Their little market has a lot of interesting items, most of which I’ll never use but I’m glad this store is here. It looks like there’s a renovation going on. This place has been here for several years, at least. I stopped in for a gyro but they don’t have them, only shawarmas, the Mediterranean’s version of the burrito. It was good„ and I will probably go back just because it’s so different from from I usually eat. The bread was crisped up really nice, I got a ton of meat and the sauce was delicious. It’s a basic little diner, so don’t expect tablecloths and mood lighting. In face, there is hardly any lighting at all but plenty of windows. The staff was helpful. I was also looking for almond flour and he pointed me in the right direction but couldn’t come with me at the moment to help me. Later he caught up with me to make sure I had what I needed. It’s not that big of a store but they do have a pretty big variety of items. Cookies, candy, spices, meat, vegetables. It reminds me of an old neighborhood store in NYC or Seattle. Family owned, they will stock what their customers will buy and nothing foo foo. My next purchase is olive oil and I do not doubt it will be what I need and I won’t have to pay fancy Whole Foods prices.

Review for the market only as I didn’t try the food. 4.99 for a pound of lean meat? Very pricey compared to the surrounding ethnic stores. This place overall has a slim selection and the prices are very high. Would rather make the trip down to the SW!
