This is one of my favorite local places to grab a drink and chill. Great ambience. Low lighting for the right«feel». Some nights they have live open mic music. Other nights open mic comedy. Two MAJOR highlights are the awesome craft beer selection and the whiskey selection!!! The kitchen is decent. With the exception of their pizza everything is fried. So heads up on that. Otherwise a great place to get together with friends and have a drink I really like it I think you will too.

Was pleasantly surprised with Jive Bar & Lounge. It is a small bar but has a good variety of drink options at reasonable prices. There is mainly bar-side seating but there are a few tables around the room. On the night I visited, there was a poker game in full swing that was open to all patrons. There were also two pool tables in the back as well as some other gaming tables to entertain the customers. The location allows customers to smoke indoors, so if you have issues with cigarette/cigar smoke, this might not be the place for you. Definitely a great place to relax and catch up with friends or just grab a drink by yourself while listening to the music from the very modern juke box in the middle of the bar. I was glad to see that they weren’t just playing one genre of music, as is often the case in a lot of establishments. The music was a good mix of rock and roll, hip hop, country and top 40s. I will definitely be back.

Level-headed people beware. A bar back wearing a Farm Drinkery sweatshirt threw trash(styrofoam trash) to burn in front of me tonight(12⁄23) as I was sitting at the fire pit warming myself. When I told him that it wasn’t okay to throw toxic burning styrofoam trash in my face, he yells«Hey… I WORKHERE» in a sarcastic tone as if it made it any better. It actually makes it worse. Use the trash can like civilized people. Trashy.

Been waiting a long time for a good place to drink by home. So glad to finally have one. Great vibe. Nice to meet friends there during the week.

Went here on a Saturday night at 10:30, 10 people in the place and karaōke. Wasn’t what I was looking for.

Great place, awesome knowledgeable staff, wide selection of beers which are always being rotated. They have badass music events. Karaōke on Saturdays and Mondays, A pretty awesome DJ on Wednesdays, Comedy on Tuesdays, Open Mic on Thursdays, and great local talent on Fridays. The owners are very friendly and make you feel welcomed. It caters to all age groups, there is something for everybody. Check this place out if you haven’t yet. Really this place deserves an honest 5 stars. Some people I have talked too in the past about it have talked about it not being so great when the place was formerly Bayou A Drink, but I can assure you it’s a whole new concept.

This is the best craft beer choices you’ll find on this side of town. It’s a friendly trendy dive bar. Good food choices for a bar around here, if you’re feeling slightly hungry. Awesome patio area. Extra parking behind the building if you didn’t know already. Bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. I don’t get to make it out here often, but I try and stop by when I find myself on this side of town.

Went here tonight for the first time. Liked the bar and the service we got from Glen. Sat at a table not at the bar, still got quick service. Played ping pong(free), darts($ 1 a game), and pool($ 1 a game). The games were fun and easy to play/join in with other people. Sang karaōke, one song that is. Tried to put in more songs but the«karaōke dj» seamed to have his favorites. Was there from 10:30pm till 1am and only got to sing one song. According to Keith there were«too many songs infront of me». 2 and ½ hours of songs by 11pm? Interesting seeing as how the bar was half empty. Nice bar(a «classy dive») come and drink a beer, play some games. Don’t try and sing unless you want to be lied to your face. Cheers.

I have been here… probably too many times. It’s the best bar I’ve ever been to. First, the beer. Tons and tons of craft brews. Unique beers that are switched out pretty regularly and priced very in expensively. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is fan-friggin-tastic. All of it. But especially the steak. Always live local talent(and they’re actually pretty good). Open mic night is fun. Comedy night. Free pool, ping pong, and shuffleboard. They also have arcade games but I haven’t played them. A nice fire pit to gather around outside when it’s cold. Tons of parking. Just can’t say enough about this place.

Hey I had high hopes for this place and it could possibly redeem itself but I tell you what… from the moment our group came in we felt like we were intruding on someone’s territory. They had karaōke which is why we chose to go there but the DJ and his sidekick were soooo rude.

Love this place. They have a great selection of craft beer and the bartenders were really knowledgable. We went on comedy open mic night and had a great time. The inside is decorated nicely and they have pool tables. The porch loos nice but we never went out to it.

My absolute favorite bar in the spring area. If you are a craft beer lover you have to stop in. They have great local taps and always have something new for me to try. The food is pretty awesome too, and their kitchen closes at 2am. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very very cool. This is the ONLY bar i will ever be ok with being a regular at. They just expanded their parking, too. Always have something awesome going on and even have an industry night. I will always say good things about this bar.

It’s nice to have an actual bar that I enjoy in the spring area! Plenty of local beers and good beers period! On draft! And the bartenders are cool! Parking is a little interesting– just park around back. The staff is cool too!

Nice neighborhood bar in Spring. Cheap drinks with a large beer and liquor selection to choose from. They have a pretty nice selection of whiskey too and at a really nice price. Only huge negative that would prevent me from coming back here is that they allow smoking inside the bar. I hate going home reeking of smoke, so I usually try to stay away from places like this.

If they don’t have a beer you like, well you just don’t like beer. 30+ taps. Tons of bottles. And I hear they’re putting in even more taps soon. Hell yeah. They can make some mean drinks. James, one of the bartenders, makes a mean«summer» drink. Not sure if it has a name, but ask him for one and enjoy it on the patio.

Ok so my friends from Klam Entertainment(shout out to Keith and Lori who run the karaōke show) an my best friend Harry got me coming to this place. I fell in love with it pretty quickly. The staff here are amazing and they treat you like family. I learned pretty quickly why they have so many regulars. Heather is the owner and she is a total rockstar! Super sweet and brings a good time with her whenever she’s there. Danny the bartender is like the best friend you wish you had. He’s super cool and great under pressure cuz it can get pretty busy. Emily the bartender is so sweet! She talks to you like you’ve known each other for years. Glen the bartender is awesome! You can always count on him to greet you with a smile when he sees you. Joseph the barback is great! Super nice and good at his job! I think there are others that I haven’t met yet because they leave before I get there in the evenings but I’m sure they’re awesome :) If you’re looking for a place to hang out with friends after work or whatever then this is the place!

If you live in the Spring/Klein area and want to have craft beer check this place out. It is craft beer with close to 32 taps. Most are local beers including Lone Pint, Karbach, No Label, and many others. It has a dive bar feel with darts, pool tables, and karaōke.

Great place to throw darts. I love the new décor and the band they had playing the night I was there was fantastic. He was singing Live and Wallflowers… awesome. The prices are great and the staff is usually very attentive. The only problem I have is the parking but I guess it’s nothing they care do about it.

I generally like this place since the décor is pretty nice and the music is decent but last night I went in and the bar tender was a complete dick. He was impossible to get a hold of(he even had some kid helping him) and very rude to my friends. I have had better service here from other bar tenders but last night was just a shit show. My friend walked off with a receipt that he wasn’t supposed to keep(he was drunk) when the bartender came and tried to get it from him he was disrespectful about it and snatched it out of his hand. Won’t be coming back here again. Hope it goes down the drain like Bayou-A-Drink did.

Nice new addition to the neighborhood. Typical bar-pool tables, shuffleboard, darts, music loud enough you have to raise your voice to talk. Super friendly, efficient bartender. Will be better with patio weather and outside seating-for now would say you’d probably enjoy this place more if you are a smoker than not.
