Creative Framing & Mirrors

Went to have a few items framed that were very expensive and looking forward to a great experience and excellent craftmanship, was I disappointed. First off I was told it would take three weeks, no problem just call when its done. Four weeks went by and I called, «the guy you dealt with is not here right now but he will call you later», why do I need to talk to him? Does it matter? Five weeks go by, «we are busy but we will get it to you soon», really? Seven weeks I went by to pick up and they had done nothing, I told them to simply refund my money and hand over my items I was going else where. Jeff said, No no I will get it done, 8 weeks and it was finished. Only takes them twice as long as they quote. I will never do buisness with these people again. AND! the actual work was nothing to wrote home about.

As far as the framing services that are offered here, you really can’t go wrong. We had purchased some oil paintings from art students in Beijing and wanted to get them framed with something that would compliment the artwork perfectly. The staff was so personal and so passionate about finding the right fit – it felt more like buying a classic book in a neighborhood store in Brooklyn. If you’re looking for the experts, you just found the right place.

This review is for my visit for a book signing @ this establishment. My aunt wrote her 1^st children’s book and I was proud & inspired to join the lil soirée!!!
The store is small & quaint but offers alot from what I saw. tons of framing options & even art classes. one in particular is one called Merlot 2 Masterpiece. The object here seems to be to get drunk with paintbrush in hand and paint your masterpiece, something I may have to try myself!!!
