Horrible place to eat, Food isn’t very good anymore, Gave them another chance and they blew it. floors are filthy, I usually avoid cash only places because in this day and age who doesn’t accept debit/credit cards unless under reporting.

I LOVE their breakfast! Everything is freshly made and they never disappoint. If you’re ever in Rockland, you need to visit this place for breakfast. The only thing is cash only :-)

Bagels are so fresh, you can never go wrong with Kathy’s. Fast and friendly workers. Nice variety of beverages too.

I ALWAYS stop by Kathy’s whenever I’m in Spring Valley. They have the BEST, fresh home made bagels and breakfast sandwiches in town. Everything is made to order. They have great prices as well! Only downfall is that they’re cash only– which in all fairness, a lot of places in NY are.

I work in the area and Kathy’s was always my fav. bagel place to go. Then something changed. It became a absent owner business. Since then it’s been down hill. The staff just doesn’t seem to want to listen. With no exaggeration 80% on the orders were coming out wrong. I stopped going a few months ago. Just this past week to decided to give them one last try. A bologna sandwich is all I ordered. I figured how can you screw up a bologna sandwich. Well guess what, they did. The woman behind the counter was too busy wrapping up the deli stuff getting ready to leave even though I was there at least 45 mins before closing time. She wasn’t listening to how I ordered the sandwich and didnt get it right. If the owner would take more time in his shop and hired staff that represented what a good food establishment I would not be writing this review. They’ve lost my business as well as my employees business. Too bad, their bagels are really good.

Kathys is amazing. From their breakfast sandwiches to their simple homemade fresh bagels they have it all. Mornings at Kathy’s may seem long since everyone is trying to get their morning fix, i suggest calling ahead to avoid the crowds. They lose one star because their drink selection is really basic and it sucks.
