I get worried and apprehensive when a restaurant claims«The Best Burger in Town» since Spring Hill is buzzing with a new eatery on a monthly basis but without bias I ordered the Makers Mark which is the best seller, BBQ inspired burger. My wife ordered wings and we split a pizza(pepperoni). To say my wife doesn’t care much for red meat is a near accurate statement. She prefers chicken or fish and once in a blue moon will order a hamburger. Needless to say, after taking a bite of the Makers Mark I shoved the burger in her face to try the new found gold I held. With her and my surprise she nearly finished the burger and I knew then, this place was not lying or exaggerating. The burger by itself is juicy, tender and does not have a normal texture you’d get at a fast food chain or chain of sit down restaurants. It’s thick, meaty full of flavor and melts in your mouth before you begin to chew. The sauces, marinades and fixings add to the burger however I could eat this one solo and walk away happy. I’m not a wing fan, but my wife claims a wing expert, and again to my surprise she finished the plate wanting more. Now mind you this lady is a string bean, barely finishes a plate and loves take home boxes, but she finishes the plate saying«Oh my God» throughout each bite. Finally, and the only lack luster part of the experience was the pizza. It can only be described as «Ok» and comparable to Pizza Hut taste. I’m a huge pizza fan but could not find a love for the bland, generic taste. Maybe a specialty pizza would be better, however your basic pep and cheese is just that, basic. The place itself reminds me of an old dive bar, friendly and lively. The staff itself REMEMBERS you when you walk through the door. This place is welcoming, and I’d recommend it to any burger or wing fan. Pros: The Best Burger in Town Cons: Pizzas

Can’t believe I’ve never ate here! I love finding places where the owner is so passionate about the food they serve, Mack’s is one of those places. 30 different burgers and I wanna try them all! I could go into detail about these burgers my wife and I had but just trust me and go try them for yourself!

Absolutely great burgers and pizza. Not much more to say. The only reason they didn’t get a 5 is the prices are a little high for what you get.

I’ve been going here for a couple years now and have tried every burger on the menu. Excellent variety of burgers always cooked to medium as they should be. Whether I had takeout or dined in, the service was always great and the place is kept clean. I’d rate it closer to a 4.5÷5 as it hasn’t always been perfect(missed order and one bad burger), but I’ve been here a couple dozen times with friends and myself and it’s always great. I have not bothered with their wings or pizza so your mileage may vary.

Excellent burgers excellent service. Go out of your way to get here and have a burger. This place is a little dive like but the food is great. With. A server or manager at the table every 5 minutes you won’t wait long for your glass to be filled or what ever you need to be done.

I’ve only been here once, but it was a great experience. Despite the fact that they were very understaffed and busy, everyone was very friendly and the service was much faster than I had expected given how busy they were. The portions were a great size for the price and the seasoned fries were fantastic. I’ll definitely be back to Mac’s!

Pretty tasty burger. They are definitely toppings oriented. Lots of options and combos. All good and well done as was the meat. A touch overdone and not well seasoned. All the food came out hot and nicely presented. Both the battered and the sweet potato fries were freshly done and hot and crisp tender. Neither seemed to have been salted at all. The service was friendly and attentive. I’ll probably try some of the other offerings next time. Both the pizza and the wings look interesting.

Stopped in towards closing time last week because I figured I wanted something a little better than Wendy’s or Hardee’s. Decided on the Makers Mark, but I actually didn’t have time to read all the choices since there are 30. Very friendly staff, had a nice chat while waiting. Took a while but worth the wait. Ordered medium and it was done just a hair more than I like, but not a deal breaker. Nice bun, plenty of meat. Good fries too, so overall I was happy. Loses one star for price, I know a good burger costs $$ but it was over $ 11 for a burger and fries. Too expensive to make a regular visit, sad to say. I’ll be back just not as often as I’d like.

The kickin chicken sandwich just got smaller because the menu got bigger. There are now 30 different hamburgers. Having the pretzel bun is now $ 1.00 extra. I was misled when I ordered the«portobello fried mushrooms» they were not portobello mushrooms. They were regular white mushrooms. It’s funny how businesses start out good then after time they just go down hill.

Wyatt Earp pizza … Enough said. Delicious twist for pizza since the beaches !!! This is a great Family place, good prices and happy taste buds! The burgers have variety and have always been good picks, which is nice for Sprig Hill options.

Best burger in Spring Hill, Tn. Excellent wings and Pizza. I go between the Bacon Fortress and the Pimento Cheese burger on a regular basis. The sweet potato fries are excellent too. It is small and not easily found tucked away in a strip mall but worth the search. Micheal the owner cares about food and sells it fresh.

I got the Makers Mark burger with onion rings and husband got the Southern Comfort burger with seasoned fries. Both burgers were very tasty. The Southern Comfort has Coke slaw which made the burger extremely messy but still delicious. Both onion rings and fries were great. We got our kid the macaroni and cheese kid plate and that was a huge fail. It tasted like they just boiled macaroni noodles and then served us that. Cheese? Don’t think so. Stick to the burgers and brings your toddler their own lunch.

I could be a fan, but it’s going to take another trip. On the plus side, good food. We had wings, bacon cheeseburgers(with two slices of cheddar, yum), and fries(nice and crispy). Burger was tasty with a nice smoky flavor, but there seems to be only one choice – well done. Also, it’s a comfortable atmosphere. Now for the not plus. Service left something to be desired. Took a while for someone to come take our food orders. And the cardinal sin for me is that wings and the burgers came out together. And It ain’t cheep. Total bill for two people came in at a little over $ 40. But the burgers are a half-pound of meat, so you’re getting a lot of food for the money. My 16 year-old son loved it, though, and there aren’t a lot of choices in Spring Hill, so I’m sure I’ll be back.

This place is awesome. I came in around 11:30am and there weren’t too many people at first but it filled up closer to noon. Alex was the only staff member I saw and he was extremely friendly. They’ve got a lot of choices and it seems to all be of pretty good quality. I got the Dragons Breath(Alex’s recommendation) and it was pretty damn good burger. A slight kick to it but it won’t burn your taste buds off. Crispy jalapeños were fuego. Everything was tasty and friendly and reasonably priced. Great décor as well. I’ll be back again if I’m ever in the area!

Normally I would say this place is amazing however it seems very inconsistent. Yesterday ordering a beer seems foreign to them. Everyone was confused. I could deal with all of theta if my burger was amazing and it was not. I normally crave the bacon fortress and have ha fit so good it melts in your mouth. My last 2 times here were disappointing with not only service but the quality of food. I won’t give up but I won’t be back anytime soon.

I stopped a few weeks wife had previously brought home a leftover and gave this place rave reviews. Although the place is small i had no problem getting a table as I usually Shoot for a 1:00 lunch to ease the rush. Anyhow the burger was very tastey and filling. still think its a bit overpriced. would probably return but some seriouse thought should be given to possibly re-evaluating the menue prices. I hate to see a good idea get ignored because of the competition.

Man it is really hard to cook a burger as well as these guys do. Thank God for this place in an otherwise chain restaurant populated Spring Hill, TN. Moving from just outside Nashville where the great family owned restaurants are a plethora, I was taken back by the boring food scene in Spring Hill, its a hard place for a foodie to live. On a brighter note, I discovered this place thru Unilocal, and through all the positive reviews, I was very excited to try it. Not only was I not dissapointed, I was extremely pleased by the product. Contrary to some of the other reviews on here, I found their burgers extremely juicy and flavorful. But whats better than the burgers themselves, is the vast variety of ways in which they are served. From your BBQ burgers w/slaw, to teriyaki burgers w/grilled pineapple, all the way to their Dragon’s Breath burger w/sriracha mayo, this place can do no wrong. They also offer an extensive sandwich menu including The Gruban, a twist on the Reuben featuring Pastrami, Sweet slaw and housemade Thousand Island on Marbled Rye, which was just terrific. In my experience the service has always been nothing but prompt and friendly, and I’ve been to this place around 6 times. This place is a Homerun for the painful Spring Hill food scene, where the citizens seem content with their Applebee’s, Logans, and O’Charleys. But for those of you searching for a little more than your run of the mill factory burger from McDonalds, give this place a shot.

Got takeout from here last night and it was tasty!!! I got a cheeseburger with fries and hubby got pork tenderloin with fries(he always has to try the pork tenderloin if he sees it somewhere we go on the menu). I thought the cheeseburger was melt in your mouth good!!! And the fries were awesome yesterday and as leftovers today:). Hubby said the pork tenderloin was good but he probably wouldn’t get it again. We will definitely be back here!
