Wonderful food! Wonderful atmosphere and lovely people. This is one of my favorite places to eat.

We were happy overall with the food and service. However, the dinner prices seemed really high for this type of hole in the wall place. Pretty dingy and outdated on the inside, but if the food was more reasonably priced it would be more understandable. We’ll probably come back for lunch sometime — we heard pasta dishes are half off!

Absolutely inedible! Calimari was so overcooked and chewy i couldn’t eat it, my friend ordered meatballs, and they were FROZEN in the middle… when we pointed this out to the owner, he was very defensive and refused to even warm them up! The waitress was so nice and applogized profusely and remarked how embarrassed she was that he had behaved that way, and apparently he is rather abusive to his staff as well!

I go to lunch here all of the time. They make this amazing chicken cheesesteak, and do yourself a favor ask for it on house bread. Definitely delicious

Lunch specials at $ 4.99 come with fries are a great deal. Love the homemade bread(sorta like a flat bread with loads of butter and parm cheese on top). You have to ask for it though if you’d want it in your sandwich. Tried the meatballs as an appetizer and they were pretty good. Really delicious marinara sauce. Also tried their fried pepperoni. Wouldn’t get that again… it simply is fried pepperoni and we couldn’t eat more than a few because it was salty. Tried their garlic knots and they were a surprise. They are crispy… more like lightly battered and fried. Hubby loves their chicken parm sub and I love their chicken cheese steak. $ 9.99 dinner specials come with some rolls and salad. Check their specials on Facebook! Over all, really like this place. Would suggest they update their décor a bit and expand their dining area. There’s an area that’s closed off and they could fit so many more people and tables there. This would add window seating that’s not so close to the kitchen noises and seating that’s not as close to the restrooms.

Scafa’s is excellent! We have been having date night here on Thursdays for more than 5 years. Highly recommended.

Went here Valentine’s Day with my spouse. As soon as I walked in I felt like I was in a warm and welcoming family restaurant. The server was upbeat and polite. Food was hot and out quick, even on a busy day like Valentine’s Day. While there for a hour and a half we noticed the foot traffic in for take-out was beyond belief. I stopped counting around 20 people. Bags upon bags and pizza after pizza was going out the door. There were a few people who came and the welcoming they received made me double check where I was sitting. I felt as though I was in someone’s home and they were welcoming their friends, which this makes me like Scafa’s even more. My first visit on Valentine’s Day will certainly not be my last.

The pizza here is EXCELLENT!!! Great entrees, but one of my favorites is their homemade tomato soup. Everything I’ve had here is really good.

Enjoyed two take-out pizzas with the family. Good crust-chewy with nice vaguely salty/eggy flavor. Tomato topping was delicious, too. Cheese and sauce were perfectly fine.

Mediocre food at best, but I have to draw the line when you can’t get cheese pizza right. The service was good, but there are much better places to get Italian food.

We are regulars at Scafas — the food is delicious. My husband loves the calzones, the chicken cheesesteaks are delicious –Try it on their homemade bread! My daughter loves the French bread pizza and the ziti. Chris, our regular server is the man! Treats my daughter like a princess and we never wait a minute for a drink. The garlic knots are delish. Definitely recommend.

My daughter and I had a very disappointing experience at Scafa’s tonight. We decided to order take-out and called in our order. I requested not to have the salad included in my meal. I knew that I would throw it out and don’t believe in wasting it. I have my own salad from my garden that tastes much better. My daughter ordered a sandwich without cheese. None of this was complicated. Well, I guess it was for them. I received the salad, which the waitress insisted I had to have. I am 46 years old, and a paying customer, so I do not have to have their salad. In the trash it went. My daughter cannot eat cheese, yet there it was on her sandwich. I suppose they would say, «It comes with the sandwich.» Neither of us enjoyed the food and will not waste any money there again.

Being right up the road from our place we thought we would give it a try. Pizza is fantastic! Exceeded our expectations. Definitely worth a try. Haven’t tried any other offerings as to why I’m giving it 4 stars.

NOSTARS. This place was a disappointment, to say the least. If you enjoy traditional, authentic Italian cuisine, then skip Scafa’s. First off, its located in a nearly deserted looking small strip mall on the outskirts of town… I only went on someone’s advice for«real» Italian food. Waiter had dirty fingernails. Strike 1. Ambiance… a big tv with the NEWS on at dinner time? Are you kidding me? Strike 2. My wine($ 7), which was not good, was also in a SMALL glass. I let that one slide. The food… my overcooked soggy pasta was drowning in a tepid, salty sauce with obviously CANNED ingredients like cheap«Spanish» black olives from a can, limp and bland canned mushrooms… I won’t even bother to say more. STRIKE3! Waste of money. My dish was NOT inexpensive, either. For the same price or perhaps even less, I could have gone to one of the local mediocre-to-not-too bad chain«Italian» places like Carraba’s and would have had a much, much better meal.

We tried Scafas for the first time and liked it a lot. It is dine in or take out and has the feel of a pizza joint. The carry out counter is in the main room and there are a few TVs so it is a little noisy but there is a back room that is quieter. Parking can be a little tricky, but there are available lots across the street. Many were having pizza, but we tried the mozz. sticks, manicotti and ziti and salad. The food was wonderful. Great service from our server, Chris. Some of the other servers were a bit loud, but all seemed friendly. Even the owner stopped by to ask about our meal. Reasonably priced. We’ll definitely go back.
