Vinny’s Italian Grill & Pizzeria

I’ve been eating at Vinnie’s since before they moved into this larger location, and I have never been disappointed. I have to admit that I’m a boring diner here — I love their spaghetti with the house sauce and meatballs and usually get that. There’s just something about those meatballs that is SO good. They also have the best club sandwich ever, hands down. My friend is crazy about the Italian wedding soup and wishes it was served on a daily basis. I’ve also heard great things about the blackened chicken sandwich. The service is good even when the place is packed (which it often is). I think I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience here. Wish it was closer to where I lived!

Pizza is good, but the Buffalo Chicken sub is special. There’s a creamy white cheese sauce on it, I can’t explain, nor duplicate, but it puts it over the top. The homemade potato chips are hit or miss. Some people love them, cause it’s something different, but I’m more of a standard fry guy. …Pizza is good and loaded with toppings, but crust lacks that NY crunch. …Prices are reasonable, but that damn Buffalo Chicken sub cost a little more than rest, even though it can’t cost more to make! –Must be the damn secret sauce!

Reviews look great! We called the leavells road location three times and no one answered! It was 9:40pm which is close to closing. I work in the industry, I know its frustrating but the hours state they are open until 10pm. The phone should have been answered until 10pm. The owner just lost money from someone who probably would have spent a lot.

Great place to eat. The waitress Angela is fantastic. She always gives us great service. I have been eating here for years and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend Vinnys

What is happening? We had dinner here on Friday night got two pizzas and they were both horrible! The one with all of the olives seemed like they were thrown on at the last minute as an afterthought. The olives weren’t cooked on Both pizzas a lacked sauce and just where like a frozen pizza – only much more expensive.

A true gem! Great family restaurant with fabulous service and incredible food! The Eggplant and Chicken Parmesan dinners as well as the calzone quickly became family favorites. Kids choices available as well! Prices were reasonable and atmosphere was laid back and comfortable. We will definitely make a point of stopping here next time we are in the area!

Absolutely love the buffalo chicken steak. Their pizza is the best around. I usually go at least once a week to get my vinnys fix. Great family atmosphere

Eaten here a few times in the past. Quick service and delicious food. Usually go for the buffalo chicken sub and or the hot wings (huge wings), both great options. Definitely a spot I will continue to go back to.

Vinny’s is an easy place to take the kids on those nights you just can’t muster the energy to make dinner. From pizza to pasta to sandwiches and salads, they’ve got you covered. Even the kids menu has some variety (not just chicken tenders), and they’re always friendly about making a kids portion fettucini alfredo for my daughter. It is relatively inexpensive ($ 7-​$ 13 a meal for dinner), which is fair for what you’re getting. Service is usually good but can get a little slow when they’re really busy (understandably).
All in all, I recommend trying it out. It isn’t gourmet, but it works.

Were there last night. All the food we ordered was very good. Complaint we had was the smoke smell was awful from the closed off smoking section. It reaped bad into the non smoking section.

We have been going to Vinney’s for many years, even before they moved to the current location. We’ve gone for lunch, dinner, after soccer and baseball games, birthday parties, you name it. On my daughter’s 16^th birthday, we had purchased a birthday cake at Pauls Bakery and asked the manager at Vinney’s if it would be okay for us to bring it in? Not only did he say it was okay, but offered to keep the cake in their cooler until we were ready for it. When we were, they put the cake on a beautiful serving platter and supplied all of the plates and silverware, and the staff brought out the cake and sang Happy Birthday. For them to cater to us that way, I could not have asked for a better experience that day. I would also like to mention that to this day, they will make a dish for me that hasn’t been on their menu in years, no questions asked.
I have never had a bad meal or experience at Vinney’s. Many of the wait staff has been there for years, and their service is always great. The menu is simple and unpretentious, yet the food is well crafted and fresh. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. The only complaint I can even grasp at is how long it took them to get Yuengling Beer! Vinney’s gets my highest rating because they are everything a local business should be, and more.

My go to place when not in the mood to cook! Great food and good location. I always get the buffalo chicken sandwich. The pizza is awesome too. The dining area is seat yourself so just go sit down, and if you just stand there you look like a rookie. But seriously go there for some good food thats not going to kill you wallet.

I used to live in the neighborhood behind this restaurant, so I’ve been eating here since I was a little girl. Other than occasionally slow service (but hey, they’re busy a LOT!), I haven’t had anything to complain about. I’ve had their House and 4 Bean Garden Salads, their cheese and pepperoni pizza, their Manicotti, Fettuccine Alfredo, and Ravioli, their calzones, the Vinny’s Club Sandwich, the Chicken BLT Wrap, and the Chicken Parmesan. I always love the food and never leave disappointed (except one time when I ordered the House Pasta with Spicy Marinara which about killed me, it was so hot! But, it is called SPICY Marinara so it was my own fault!)
I love this restaurant because I grew up with it, and it has a nostalgic, homey feel to me. It’s always busy and popular with locals. You always run into someone you know here! I’m always happy to eat at VInny’s. It’ll always be one of my favorite places.

Vinny, Dude! Come on! We order from this place every Friday, because my husband is all into pizza friday nights. However a couple weeks ago our calzone was cold (how does that happen? doesn’t it go in the oven??).
Then this past Friday we went with a large works pizza. We live around the corner from this place. When my husband got back from getting the pizza, the crust was so soggy and undercooked I had to eat the pizza with a fork. The NYer in me was so ashamed I almost had to finish the slice in a dark room so nobody could witness the sinful act. I couldn’t even pick up a slice without having the crust get all «I need some viagra» on me and have all the toppings slide off. womp womp.
I think it’s great they always want to get food out quick, but I’d rather wait an extra ten minutes and have mine cooked all the way.
This is a warning Vinny, don’t make me eff up my hubby’s friday night pizza routine. I might have to get all frozen CPK on you if you keep this up!

Took the whole family. Kids, granparents and us. The service was great. The food was really good. And the price was right. Not many places you can get quality food, brought to you with a smile and feed 6 for $ 80 including tip and a couple of beers. We will go back again.

This is a solid go-​to neighborhood restaurant. Great for couples or the whole family. They just added a big party room that I think is great for teams/​parties/​kids events.
I have dined in and carried out and was happy either way. My favorite dish is the blackened chicken primavera. Lots of food, great sauce too! Maybe could use a little less blacken seasoning on checken. My wife loves their chicken marsala dish. Subs are great too! Parking lot is too small for the place and is often full.
