i got takeout from here– a swiss and mushroom burger plus fries and added a chocolate malt shake on a separate payment. it was about 4pm and inside was empty, they had my food ready in 5 mins. the inside is very intimate, just booth type seating around an island. upon further review of the menu, i realized it’s actually 50¢ cheaper to order a hamburger then do add ons like swiss and mushrooms. the burger is quite small, you get a fair amount of fries and i found the malt to be a bit hefty in price. i normally would’ve left it out but when starving, as we all know, we make bad decisions. the burger was quite greasy but still good and so were the fries. the malt was overkill, personally. the server with the eyebrow piercing was very sweet, others just seemed tired.

This is my favorite hamburger joint in the whole world! It’s absolutely amazing. I don’t know what kind of seasoning they use in the burgers, but I can’t say enough how incredible they are. My boyfriend and I waited for 20 minutes outside just to get a seat(it was a full house at the time) and drove from 45 minutes away just to go there, but it’s always totally worth it. I’ve never found a better place for hamburgers than Wolffy’s.

Just simply lovely! The throwback to the simple burger joints of the 50’s. Old style grilled burgers, full of flavor thanks to fresh ground beef. Make sure you order grilled onions with it as well as a side of shoestring fries. Heaven awaits your tastebuds! The atmosphere is so throwback. Old style burger building complete with the typical counter seating. No extra tables. Just great food and collegiate patronage. Plus fives!

Great little breakfast spot(I have not been for lunch)! I have been here twice for breakfast and both times it was great. Not a huge selection of menu but they have all the basic breakfast items you would hope for. The only downside is there is very limited seating but the inside is extremely cute! If you are in the area though, pop in and check it out!

Easily the best simple old fashioned cheeseburger I’ve ever had. You can taste that they are fresh and homemade. Although it was way worth the wait, be prepared to wait it is super busy!

We showed up right at the end of breakfast and the place was full to capacity. It isn’t much to look at from the outside, in fact we almost skipped it because of the peeling paint and severe lack of maintenance displayed by the exterior. But looking in and seeing a full house, we decided to try it anyway. There was one hostess and two cooks on duty. The place has counter seating only, and a drive thru window. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a seat to open up, and even once it did, it took another 10 minutes before our order was taken. While waiting, we got to see what other people were eating and it all looked incredible. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries, my daughter ordered grill cheese and a strawberry shake. The kitchen is right in front of the counter. We watched as the cook took ¼lb ball of fresh ground beef and put it on the grill, and then smash the ball into a patty. The bun was toasted on the grill. As the patty cooked, he covered it with shredded cheddar cheese and bacon slices. Eating it was burger heaven. The grill cheese was made with Texas toast, and Velveta style cheese. It too was very good. The milk shake was served in the metal mixer, was made with hard pack ice cream, and topped with fresh whipped cream. The French fries were shoe string cut, cooked to order, hot, fresh and a generous portion. Once we actually had ordered, the food arrived quickly and the employees were friendly, even apologizing for the wait. Bottom line, don’t let the outside appearance scare you away. If you judge this book by its cover, you’ll miss a really good meal.

Stopped for lunch on the way through heading back to Helena. Great lunch. Good burger. Fantastic customer service. Very close to 5 stars and that is rare for me especially with burgers. Chili cheese fries were done exactly the way they should be. Fries cooked then tossed with shredded cheese then covered in chili. All the way around a very good wxperience. Thank you!

I went to this fine establishment for my first time today(which is a little bit weird considering I love food). Let’s just say it was amazing. From beginning to end it was a fantastic experience. The staff was more than nice, and accommodating for my handicapped friend. The burgers were cooked to delicious and juicy perfection. It’s also always a plus when you can watch the cook prepare your meal. She was fast, and efficient and never got flustered when the counter and ticket rail were filled to capacity. The son of the family was easy to talk too. He’s very personal and made us feel like we were eating a burger at home. Thank you for that. Last but certainly not the least. The best decision I made was ordering a chocolate malt to go. I got home and enjoyed it a few hours later. I will definitely be back for more. Thanks for everything you guys.

On my way to work this morning I decided to stop in and have breakfast. Best decision of the day. They are very friendly and the biscuits were on point. Take it from a southern man who loves his biscuits and gravy. I plan on bringing the guys in later this week to share the greatness. Thanks can’t wait till next time.

10⁄2015 — 9am Breakfast, lunch and dinner, it’s always good eats at Wolffy’s. Don’t expect thick, juicy burgers, expect flatter yet equally as flavorful, diner style patties. You can’t go wrong with the no frills cheeseburger but if you’re looking for a little kick go with the Cajun. As for breakfast, get the French toast. You can get bacon and eggs anywhere but only at Wolffy’s can you get deep fried French toast. Take a bite into fried, pillowy goodness and all your troubles will float away. Pros: — Delicious diner food — Small local business Cons — Best in pairs, don’t bring a group — Can get really busy in weekends

I took 2 buses just to order a TripleChzBurger w/GrilledOnions & XtraPickles named«TheWOLFFER». I flanked my burger w/fries and a CherryShake and gotta say it was well worth it. The prices are reasonable and I’ll definitely be back for the breakfast menu one day soon. The staff was all smiles, polite and attentive. GoWolffy’s & GoZags!!!

I really enjoy myself every time we come here. I am usually not one to really care too much about the service(unless it’s bad), but the Wolffy’s staff is so kind, respectful, and friendly. They are attentive and take care of you. Good people! I think the quality of food for the price is outstanding. I don’t think its the best breakfast in town, but it is really tasty. A personal favorite is the breakfast sandwhich. For lunch, I really enjoy the Greek burger. Again, the value points are really high at Wolffy’s and I am sure you will love it as much as I do.

Cute joint by Gonzaga’s Campus. They have great shakes and burgers(though I’ve only had the Greek). My favorite thing by far is their onion rings which are classic — fried, hot, and delicious.

Oh you poor bastard. You poor poor bastard. You will read this review and then discover the best burgers in Spokane(by a long shot) and so you will go here, and discover an adorable vintage diner with a cozy counter and deco designs. And then you will wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. This might be the slowest kitchen in the Americas(both north and south hemispheres) and they are not open late, a sin for a neon lit diner. But the burgers are ’bout as good as you’ll ever find. You poor bastard.

Wolffy’s has turned out to be one of my favorite burger joints. Although I think Five Guys is better you cant get an awesome shake there. There are several editions of burgers here that are all reasonably priced. I have tried most of them and all are very good. You cant go wrong with a straight up double cheese though. The shakes are also very good. They are delivered in the metal mixing cup and you get a generous amount. I have personally only had the strawberry version and it is consistently good. On a few occasions we have ordered fries and a regular order is large enough for two people to share. They have never been soggy or overcooked. If you are looking for a very good diner style burger it will be hard to top Wolffys.

Right off the bat I want to say these guys are very expensive for a drive through burger. I get that things are more expensive lately, but these guys seem to be leading the charge to charge more. Secondly, I didn’t say fast food because they are not very fast here. I have come several times when things don’t look too busy, but it still seems to take a long time to get my order. Third, I have had to remind the drive thru folks about my drink a couple times, which just should not happen, especially at these prices. One other thing that is not really a knock so much as a heads up, seating is really limited so plan on drive thru here. On the plus side, they have great onion rings, and the Wolffy’s sauce totally hooks them up. I also like their grilled chicken sandwich, even if it is small for the price. Overall, these guys are not bad if you are close by, especially if you like good onion rings. I would not go out of my way for this experience, however.
