The atmosphere was nice, the food was pretty decent, but the service could have been better. I don’t like having to push my glass to the edge of the table to signal my waiter that I need a refill. My fiancé had to do the same. Other than that and waiting a while to get our check it was an okay experience. I enjoyed the view the most. I could look down at the street in front of the mall and people watch, which is something both Kevin and I love to do. I’d go back but hopefully get a different waiter.

Wonderful food and great service. The Moroccan beef appetizer is not to be missed. And the Polynesian pizza was incredible.

Tonight’s visit left me wishing I would have just gone across the street to Red Robin. We tried the Red Velvet Crêpe dessert from the fresh sheet. Needless to say if you are on a diet order it. One bite and you will never want another. The dessert tasted slightly on the onion-y side. Perhaps it had been in a walkin with some other prepped food all day. The crêpe part was cold and very similar to play dough. Our service was subpar at best. Our server came back once between serving food and bringing us the check, and never once asked if we were happy with our food.

First of all, River Front Park is my favorite location for Twigs. The architecture is interesting and creates the best martini bar ambiance of any of them that I’ve been to.(The food was also better than the Regal or Valley locations) We came in during happy hour(3 – 6 daily) just to try a few things: As for cocktails, my husband loves an Old Fashioned, so he ordered one with Makers Mark($ 15!). I had a Berry Crush($ 7)which was vodka and soda water poured over muddled limes and berries. Both were delicious. [The appetizers we chose were the Calamari $ 11, Loaded Waffle Fries$ 7, BBQ chicken sliders $ 7 and Kahlua pulled pork tacos $ 6.] The calamari were good. Served with pickled artichoke hearts and lemon on a bed of lettuce with a garlic aioli. The tempura could have been crispier, but the fish was well cooked. The loaded waffle fries sounded good but were heavily sauced with cheese sauce and a GOBS of sour cream thereby creating sloppy fries.(Note to self: They did say LOADED.) For me, the bacon and the green onions saved the dish. The sliders were our favorite because the buffalo sauce on the shredded chicken was BOMB and the brioche bun was sweet and toasty. Also because, coleslaw. The pork tacos also came with coleslaw and a Kahlua sauce on a flour tortilla but the flavors just weren’t as impressive. What I enjoyed most(besides my husband’s company, of course) was the friendly service and dessert! The hostess was pleasant and helpful. When my husband had to feed the meter, she sat me where he could easily find me. We also had a great waiter and I wish I remembered his name because he was charming and attentive without being fake. The dessert I chose was the weekly special: Phyllo wrapped caramelized bananas with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce for $ 9. HALLELUJAH. It was Amazing.(Maybe even better than PF Changs?!?) Overall, we had a really lovely evening and we’ll be back.

Went to this location with a colleague for a late lunch after it was recommended by a local work acquaintance. We were very pleased with our service and the meals. We started with a cup of the curry chicken soup, which was phenomenal! Very hearty, smooth and just the perfect amount of heat for me. For our entrees, I got the TNT coulotte which came with tasty sides and the steak was very delicious and cooked to my liking. My colleague got the salmon and was pleased with her choice. We loved the ambiance and the view, would definitely return to dine here in the future when visiting Spokane.

I’ve experienced some memorable examples of rude service in my day, but never before have I had the experience of a waiter demanding(almost as his first words to me) that I put up collateral, lest I steal the dishes. You see, like previous reviewer Lauren L, I made the mistake of ordering the wrong drink, and was subjected to the«Moscow Mule Treatment.» For those unfamiliar with the drink, a Moscow mule is customarily served in a copper mug, the icy cold feel of the metal cup being part of the experience. But at Twigs, if I wanted the customary mug, I was curtly informed, then I would have to surrender my driver’s license. Because, apparently, I seemed the type who might make off with such a precious vessel. Sorry, but I was scheduled to be boarding an airplane in a couple of days, and there was no way I was going to trust my one and only form of TSA-accepted ID to some buffoon of a waiter, who’d probably lose it. So I skipped having a drink. Honestly, if I hadn’t been with friends, and if we hadn’t been pressed for time because we’d already reserved tickets for a movie after dinner, I would have walked out right then, I was so insulted. Like that other reviewer, I was really made to feel like some sort of criminal or low-life thug, which is not a way I like to be treated, particularly when I’m footing the bill for a rather expensive meal. Way to keep it classy, Twigs. My food, a tuna poke appetizer and a salmon entrée, was pretty good, I suppose. But I was so irritated by that opening insult that I couldn’t really enjoy it. I honestly don’t understand the business reasoning behind this policy. I mean, here in just the last couple of Unilocal reviews I see two customers that they’ve permanently lost. Heaven knows how many more they’ve driven away. How could preventing the loss of a few cheesey copper-plated tin cups be worth the loss of business? Heck, the profit lost from just that one drink I opted not to order would have covered the cost of a mug. It’s definitely not the way I would run a business. Twigs used to be one of my Spokane favorites. Not anymore.

love Twigs, it has become my «go to» this past year and has never let me down. Love their bruschetta flatbread off the appetizers but eaten as an entrée. Never been disappointed with their service or food. Only problem would be that the downtown location is always busy– but that’s just because they are that good.

WORSTSERVICEINSPOKANE. Good food but wait staff must be high, apathetic or dunces. Unacceptable. Was forever for everything, couldn’t get a straw to save my life(my sister got up and got it)… AND a long piece of hair in my pear/beet salad. Ehhh.

We have never been disappointed. We started celebrating family birthdays here a few years ago. We now look for reasons to come here. We often bring the family here for dessert. Our all time favorite is the sticky cookie. Always consistently decadent. Polite, friendly service, quality food, nice atmosphere.

This was my first visit to the mezzinine. Pretty cool. The food was also very good and the service was courteous and pronto My only beef: There is a exit at the east end of the mezzinine. Since it only a few feet from our table when we left we exited there. I first looked carefully for a sign saying that it was an emergency exit. There was none. Just as we opened the door, a server(noT ours) said very loudly«you cannot go out that way». Since we were basically already out, I replied«if it’s not to be used put a sign to that effect». The person slammed the door very hard and since it is metal, it reverberated throughout the mall. Kinda put a damper on an otherwise enjoyable experience

A bunch of us at work have December bdays. So we wanted to go out for a special dinner, Twigs downtown was suggested and all of us agreed that would be fun. Service started out well enough, but very short lived, martinis the girls ordered were lacking all the enticing extras the pictures promised as well as the volume, on the other hand my pinot gris was delicious, I just wish my waiter would have let me finish it all the way before he took it from me. I guess that wasn’t as bad as the broken off shard of toothpick found in my friends pulled pork sandwich(that we showed to the waiter and still got charged for btw). It wasn’t all bad but there was definitely more cons the pros!

Had lunch today and got to sit on the new bridge which overlooks downtown. Great view. Had a glass of No-LI brew which was very good. I had a turkey club bacon wrap which came with a side. I chose a caesar salad. Everything was very very good. The portions are rather large here so plan on bringing some home if you can’t finish it. Service was very attentive. Got there at 11:00 am, by the time my sister and I left, you could hardly find a seat anywhere. Great atmosphere, of course lots of Christmas shoppers as well. I rather enjoyed the visit and the food today!

I went to the newly reopened restaurant in the riverfront park mall on a Sunday night. I was impressed with the view from the newly built«bridge» seating. I had a spectacular view outside that makes for a perfect movie setting. I ordered the garlic gorgonzola burger with fries and the food was great. I was anxious to get a IPA ordered on tap and was surprised they had a rather small tap selection of mostly domestic beer except for their house Amber made by NoLi. I had that and it was good but no IPA on tap? If there was more of a beer selection I would have given 5 stars. Ended up going to the Steelhead afterwards for more beer selection.

We had what sounded like some very interesting appetizers rather than a full meal. They were nothing special. The presentation was super cool but the food was a let down.

I had the prawn and salmon linguini, delicious! My mom had the Gorgonzola burger, when it was brought to our table it wasn’t cooked to medium rare, and the waiter was insistent that they comp her meal. Overall, nice restaurant, which has a nice view.

I’m giving one star for the bar ONLY. The restaurant was wonderful with a beautiful view. Then, my husband and I decided to have a drink over at the bar. Let me start off by saying it was the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had. I have been to the Twigs on the South Hill many times and have nothing but praise for their staff. However, the location at the RPS has staffed either a very inexperienced or extremely rude bar waiter. When we arrived, we both ordered the Moscow mule. The waiter takes our order, then he comes back a few minutes later to tell us before he can give us our drinks he has to take our driver’s licenses. I told him«that’s alright, but may I ask why?» The waiter looks me in the eye and bluntly says, «So you two don’t steal them» I was shocked and confused he said that to us, and in THAT way. He made us feel like we were criminals or thugs. I had assumed this was a higher end establishment, but the way we were treated last night proved otherwise. Not only this, but the waiter we had in the bar ignored us for long periods of time. We waited for our check so long(20 minutes after our last interaction with him), that we just went to the front and had another staff member take our check. Not going to this location again!

Was not impressed with the sevice, food or drinks. Service was slow. My fish was overcooked and the«signature» fries were nothing to sign your name to . The martini I ordered was made by the harried waitress and tasted like a weak Margarita. Could be atrrbutted to the soda water she topped it off with. 2 drinks appetizer and 1 lunch entrée came to over $ 50 with tip. When I go out to eat and drink I expect the«professionals to be able to do better than I can do at home. This was not the case.

My wife and I stopped in here after a little shopping after work one day. The restaurant has been newly remodeled, & I must say they’ve done a nice job, especially when you consider it is inside of a mall in downtown Spokane. We both ordered burgers which we’re not disappointing, but I have to say that mine had to be returned once because it was well done instead of medium rare as I requested. If you’ve ever compared it medium rare burger to a well done burger you know that the flavor is completely different when it is overdone. Typically when this happens the waiter is reluctant to obliged, however in this case they were very happy to change the order or we cook it as they did deliver it to the table with the wrong temperature of meat. Both burgers were delicious, and the service was fantastic as well. This is a nice spot to drop into if you’re hungry or just want a nice atmosphere to sit around after a meeting of shopping in downtown Spokane.
