The menu and shop is small but the food is quality. I if the rancher, it’s delish. You can order a half or a whole. He whole us a ½ lb of meat. Comes with chips and a pickle. The drench bread is super soft and delish!

Without a doubt the best sandwich ever! Sandwiches are not hard to make, but if not done right they are blah! I’m very picky about my sandwiches. I don’t like fatty meat, so most times I eat a sandwich, I make it myself so I can cut out any of the fat on the meat. Here, no need to! I’m crazy for the ham there. Lean ham is hard to find. I have eaten there so many times, and every time I get the ham, which is most of the time, it’s sheer perfection. Then the bread, I can’t stand stale, dry, crappy bread. What a way to ruin a sandwich. I have tried all of their bread options, wheat, marbled rye, and French. My hands down favorite is the French. It’s always soft and fresh with a perfect crust. The other options are good too, I just prefer French! My only wishes are they stayed open a bit later, and they heated the bacon. Oh ya, they have smoked Gouda as a cheese option!!! Yum!!! Each different sandwich is delicious! All are available as a small or large, and your choice of bread. They also come with kettle cooked chips and a crisp pickle.
They also have four rotating taps of different craft beers to enjoy with your meal!

This place never ceases to amaze me. It’s a quick spot to grab a delicious sandwich and drink. The staff is not only friendly but incredibly fast. I’ve gone here for lunch multiple times and get consistently good food and service every single time.
A couple of weeks ago I took my mom for lunch, and she doesn’t want to eat sandwiches anymore. Today we went for lunch and our sandwiches were already finished before we even finished paying.
Come eat here, you will not be disappointed. My only complaint is that they aren’t open in the evening so for my sandwich fix!

Yum. I ordered two sandwiches today, and both were made slightly wrong, and I still don’t care. They were delicious and a lot of food for under 8 bucks a sandwich. Granted, I wish they would have made my sandwich right, btu I will forgive them because it was so much food. I used to think I was loyal to Smackey’s on Broadway, but Shamus’s is more food for less money. Plus, they serve Tim’s cascade Chips with every sandwich. Super delicious.

Definitely a Spokane gem. There is a sandwich here for just about any palette but my favorite is Rocky’s Italian Stallion.
Service here is super friendly and super fast. Even if they are really busy, which they often are cuz lotsa folks love this place, you get your order quick.
Prices here are better than Subway, and Subway doesn’t give you free chips and a pickle spear.
If you are in the mood they also have a decent selection of beers to enjoy with your sandwich.
One other cool thing is this place is Spokane proud. Sean, the owner, was raised up in Spokane. He went to Eastern, and there are a few pictures from his football days. Lots of other cool sports memorabilia as well.
Basically, buying a sandwich here supports Spokane cuz the money stays in Spokane. So if you are jonesing for a good sandwich, stop by Shamus’s.

This was my first time trying this sandwich shop out! I ordered the rancher and it was amazing! Fresh marble rye bread with high quality turkey! Yummy! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a great quality sandwich with fast service!

One of the best sandwich shops in Spokane. Their super soft bread is what makes them top notch. It’s a small place so seating is limited but definitely worth it. Highly recommend.

Love the food! The hours seem odd they are never open when you would assume that they would be? They close very early in the day I guess would be better.

Big sandwiches for a good cost.
This place is great for ordering for a large crowd of people. We have never had a problem with placing an order for 12 people! We showed up 15 mins before the time we were given and our sandwiches were packed up and ready to go with each box labeled with each persons name.
The bread they use is amazing and soft. The half sandwich is the size of most businesses normal size so beware when ordering. My friends are big fans of their chowder.
Good place for real deli like sandwiches and portion sizes if your in this area!

OK — I love sandwiches. This place has it right!
First and foremost — a great sandwich requires great bread. I don’t care if your fixin’s are good if your bread is thin and flavorless. This place has AMAZINGLY THICK SLICED Bread (I had the roast beef on marbled rye with extra tomato and added some onion with their horseradish sauce!) The bread is unmatched — can’t wait to go back and try all of their sandwiches.
Generous portions! Half a sandwich will fill you up — comes with a pickle spear and some Tim’s chips. For $ 2 more, I got the whole — glad I did — it was so good I demolished the first half quickly — then got to enjoy the 2^nd half slowly. Quick service — amazing Sandwich! If they franchise this concept — they’d be rich!
It’s off of pines — unless you know the address, you’ll drive right by it. From the outside it looks like nothing — however, inside it is great with TV’s, a bar, and there is also a great interior patio area to eat! Really a great place!
I’ll be back quite a bit — going to bring my kids next time!

Freaky fast jimmy johns should learn from this place. Shamus’s is the best the biggest and fresh sandwiches in town. Super friendly staff and Shawn is always there with a smile…

My husband and I often meet here for lunch and I have never been disappointed! Their bread is amazing, their sandwiches are HUGE (even a small), and the atmosphere is great. We love our lunch spot!

Best Sandwiches in Spokane!

This place deserves more credit than it gets. One of my favorite sandwich shops in Spokane. Great flavor in very simple sandwiches. The service is fantastic and very personal.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the atmosphere inside is cozy, clean and the staff really friendly and attentive. Sandwiches were fresh and huge, and the beer selection was surprisingly good.
This is the best place for a sandwich I’ve found in Spokane.
