This place was absolutely dreadful! No Wi-Fi even when it’s advertised, bed was terrible, blankets had stains on them, floor was full of stains even the chair they had at the desk(which was shared with a fridge that wasnt defrosted in over a year.) had stains, wall paint was just splattered on like a 2 year old did it. tv was a 24 inch tv with 4 channels two being cnn, and a Hispanic channel. The owners are both really sketchy looking, don’t let the nice outside fool you like it did me!

The only real nice RV park is up near Mead. If you want to stay in Spokane, the RV parks, are, well, hmmmm… But from what I have seen, this one is the least objectionable for the«hmmmm…» stuff. And the owners, who have had it since 2007, are slowly making efforts over the years to clean up and make this place better. This is a motel/RV Park combination. The motel consists of «vintage» bungalows, with a small RV park in the back. The current owners have owned it since 2007. When I stayed here previous to these owners, the RV park appeared to have some full-timers with«vintage» RV’s. There were some«questionable» perms that didn’t give me a feeling of safety. The current owners have slowly weeded out the«questionable» perms. There are still some perms here, but they keep a few slots open for over nighters. Although this park is Iocated in an «industrial» area(car dealers, etc.) and near a low income apartment complex, I have felt perfectly safe here. The current owners are nice and very accommodating. The good news is: EXCELLENT Wi-Fi. The bad news is: a Voltage meter is highly recommended! The electrical pole(30 amp) does not have an on/off switch, you just plug in. When I did so, I definitely heard some arc and spark noises!(Like I said, this is a «vintage» place.) GOODPOINTS: 1. The cable used to be limited when I first stayed here, but appears to now be expanded. However, some channels do come in fuzzy. 2. McDonald’s and Jack In The Box just a few steps away(if you like fast food). 3. Located on a bus line with frequent service to downtown Spokane. 4. Office(serving motel and park) open from 5:30AM until 11:00PM. NOTSOGOODPOINTS: 1. Sites were very close together. 2. Cable and electrical connections are«exposed» to the weather elements, no covers. As mentioned before, voltage meter highly recommended! 3. Establishment is squeezed in kind of an «older industrial» area, around used car dealers, railroad office, and carpet store. Although the price is kind of high for what you get, if you are visiting relatives in Spokane, or just need the public transportation to points in Spokane, this place may work for you. Spokane is lacking in good RV parks in convenient locations. The only reason I stay here is the convenience to mass transit, as I don’t tow a car. As I said, it’s the«least objectionable» of the«hmmmmm…» places. They charge $ 35 a night and they don’t take Good Sam any more. Oh yeah. One caveat. This hotel is convenient to the Spokane Fairgrounds, and gets a lot of customers from attending events there. If the hotel part in front is booked, and there are a lot of cars in the parking lot, you have to play«thread the needle» to weasle your RV to the back where the RV park is. I have stayed here many times, and only had to «weasle» twice. I have a Class C and I held my breath! If the hotel is not busy, no problem.
