We have had a struggle, the first purchase was too big when we trusted our sales rep to sell us the right fridge with correct measurements. It ended up to be a half inch too big but also our water line was not up to code. Was not informed to make changes until arrival of our fridge and had them leave the fridge with us till we made upgrades. Second time, still wasn’t good enough, the guys feed us b.s. about having a blow torch to cut copper lines. Ok? Just get a copper cutter and make the changes. We did make changes, still wasn’t good enough when we got it professionally done, even had extra parts for extra measure and still was not good enough after the 3rd visit. The 3rd visit was an exchange visit, we had 3 fridges on our property but it got done and shifted changes around. 4 days layer, the exchange fridge broke down, the defrost speed working but our freezer worked. After 3 weeks of being tossed around with customer services, maintenance and sears departments.. No part is manufactured for a 2016 fridge? Ok, b.s. either wait 30 days for a new but same fridge or another exchange for something different. No, we decided to do a return and get our money back after this one month process. While this happened, we got no document copy of our exchange and only got 84 bucks back, instead of 384 dollars returned after the price differences in the exchange of refrigerators. While on the phone to make sure we get our return [$] they asked us you stay happy for a 100 dollars store credit to keep our fridge. Wtf? No! We want or money back! Very lengthy and undecorated process. I’m done and angry that I wad blind folded about no receipt of exchange and repairs. They tried charging us for 280 bucks for a diagnostic and visit when we where promised the warranty. We where charged differently for just having the fridge. Nickel and dime.

Their friends and family sale is nothing but a joke. They mark up their prices just to lower them back down to the original price they had them at. You’re not saving any money so some fake ass sale that is.

Don’t expect anything to be delivered on time when they say. Extremely bad experience with Mattress purchase. Garage doors they do a great job. It is really disappointing when the perception of service is part of why you purchase at Sears, and they can’t deliver.

I gave Sears Repair one star because there was not an option for less. We called Sears repair to look at our washing machine. They charged $ 100.00 for the service call. The service tech did not know what was wrong and had to call someone on the phone to discuss the issue. He determined the timer was bad. He offered to put in a new part of a reconditioned one. The reconditioned one was less money and would be available sooner so I choose the reconditioned timer. We then received a phone call that the part was not available. Sears would call when the part came in to schedule a service call for installation. The automated service called and left a message to call to make an an appointment for installation. Sears returned to install the part and charged me another $ 100.00 for the service call. They no longer carry parts on the truck, what a great way to make another $ 100. every time they come to your home. The part was installed on Saturday and today is Monday and the washer is not working. It is clear they did not install the correct part. It will be interesting to see how they resolve this issue and what they charge me. I will never use Sears Repair. They are not the same company since they are owner my K Mart. Buyer Beware. I went to Sears to purchase a new leaf blower for work. I’d done my research and knew what product I wanted. I found the blower easily enough, but when I went to check out, that is when the frustration started. There was nobody at the tools sales desk, and there was someone in front of me in line. I walked to the other side of the store, but that desks three registers were closed. I took my package upstairs and had to wait in line for another ten minutes to finalize my purchase. I’m certainly not in any hurry to return.
