MVP Home Turf Sports Bar and Grill

We ordered three dishes 1– chicken strips and French fries (for my 2 ½ year old). I’ll start off by saying that he will most definitely eat ANY French fries that are put in front of him, so the fact that he ate these says nothing about the restaurant itself (ha!), but they definitely tasted like fresh potatoes (minimally soaked in grease), but there was nothing really special about the chicken strips. 2– the southwest chicken salad. My husband seemed to like it, but there wasn’t anything exciting about it (see picture). 3– the grilled mushroom burger with bleu cheese (subbed for Swiss). It was probably my mistake for ordering the bleu cheese in place of the Swiss, as it had a weird, unexpected tang/​bitterness to it. The mushrooms were good, sautéed and generously portioned, but lets just say that I wouldn’t order it again (another pic!). Although I was under-​impressed by the food, I found that the atmosphere, along with the friendly and accommodating waitress made this more of a 4 star review than a 3(I’m still hesitant though).
