I have heard of the Left Bank in my travels to Spokane and finally took the opportunity to go there. In summary, if you are the restless traveler like me and always looking for local flavor, Left Bank offers a required experience for you. My experience with Isaac was very personable and I enjoyed our discussion about music. The food was awesome. I had the savory bites which were perfect. So get out of your hotel room and if you are lucky Karrie O’Neil might be singing for you at the Left Bank.

This is one of my favorite places to come to whether I’m in Spokane a lot or just to visit. Isaac is one of a kind and just really makes the atmosphere what it is. Their wine selection is amazing! Try it out!

Leftbank offers a very classy chance to try wine flights in Spokane with a small group of friends. The location isn’t huge, so I wouldn’t bring a huge group here, but for a date night or small gathering of friends, it’s perfect. It has a warm, upscale vibe inside and they frequently support local musicians by bringing them in to play(Here’s looking at you Nick Grow!). I’ve enjoyed the knowledgeable service I’ve received here, as well as a nice chance to try something new. They have yummy desserts and other foods available, but they are really outstanding with their wine. I think all Spokanites and tourists alike should know about Leftbank. They are a classic. Locally owned and operated.

Wonderful«feel» and amazing customer service! Exceptional food, including dessert. All you can ask for in beer and wine selection. Enjoy the music in comfy furniture close to the stage, or sit farther back and enjoy everything else!

Great place for drinks. From the reviews it seems like the pizza is worth a try also. We popped in here die after dinner drinks and were pleasantly surprised by the Port offerings. It was not an extensive list, but it was a good one. We ended up with a 20 year old tawny and were very satisfied. Plus we were lucky to walk in when they had live music. We would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a great glass of wine!

Stumbled upon this place while in Spokane from out of town. My wife really liked the wine selection and I appreciated the good craft beers available in a wine bar. The workers are extremely friendly, make you feel right at home, and knowledgable about both wine and beer. There seemed to be a fair amount of local regulars during our visit.

Brilliant staff and beautiful wine selection. Arrived late and the kitchen was closed but the wine enthusiast prepared a plate just for us! We will be back! Traveling to Spokane, definitely worth a visit to this establishment!

Very cool place! I love the concept behind the wine and food choices. complex; not complicated. The prices and the amazing appetizers make me want to eat there every night! I was served the exact wine I was in the mood for. dark, dry cab sav. I wish I had had time to stay all evening and just hang out to listen to the live music. The atmosphere is intimate, not pretentious… perfect! The owner and server are wonderful, too!

Leftbank makes me feel like I’m back in NYC. Small, skinny place. Various types of tables close together. Live music. And many tasty wines to choose from. They are very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. I have yet to try the pizza, but it looks great when it’s passing by. Next to my group were 2 couples playing cards. Wine, live music, date night of cards with friends… this is the place.

I’ve been to Left Bank about a dozen times as I work nearby and it’s a convenient place to meet friends after work. I have never encountered an employee there who is not extremely friendly and also impressively knowledgeable about their beer and wine selection. The food is delicious – I’ve never had anything there I didn’t like. Isaac, the owner, is always friendly and helpful, and has offered me free wine tastings on several occasions when he has had vendors visit the bar. Their Wednesday night«high brow» trivia is also a blast. I highly recommend the«wine flights,» red or white, which you can either pick 3 of your favorites or tell the bartender the flavors you like and have them pick for you.

Excellent atmosphere, attentive service and delicious food! It was my first visit to Spokane and decided to come to Left Bank for the good happy hour deal that they have. I was not disappointed. The Godmother pizza was very filling and went well with the Sun River Syrah that I chose. I get the impression that this place sees a lot of regulars, as the bartender seemed to know a few people that walked in. I enjoyed that sense of welcoming and comfort. I definitely recommend Left Bank for anyone staying in the downtown area!

This place is rad. I had been three years ago and thought it was just okay… but the vibe now is so much more approachable under current ownership! Isaac is a fantastic, hands-on owner(he makes trivia night super fun!) and you can tell he wants to be sure his guests are having the best experience possible. He goes out of his way to make this so. Great food. Large wine list — now offering beer! Chill environment: cozy and inviting. Staff is generally friendly without being in your face — and service is timely and accurate. A little on the pricey side for me sometimes, but with all the improvements that have been made, and the ambiance/feel, it’s pretty worth it. Will definitely recommend to friends and patrons from my work going forward.

After a meat lovers event for lunch we needed a lighter fare for dinner. We are from out of town. Found this place on Unilocal. Was great to have marriage salad ans margarita pizza. That and the wine was great. Was slow that night we were there. The musician was breaking down until we came. He plugged his guitar back in andstarted playing again. Then a big group in an it was a great atmosphere. We are from out of town but would definitely return.

I come here every time I’m in Spokane! Great service, all local beer and mostly local wines with knowledgeable staff to help you choose. Love the pizzas and the cucinas(like a calzone but lighter). This place is local, friendly and awesome!

I love this place. We found it just by chance walking around Spokane, and were so glad that we decided to go in. There was only one server on duty, but she was so attentive and made our stay perfect. We ordered appetizers and pizzas and she asked if we wanted the kids’ pizza bought out asap rather than wait for the grown-up’s. That made a big difference to our kids’ enjoyment of the evening. Not having spent much time in Washington state, I didn’t know a lot about the local wineries, but was interested to try some. Our server was quite knowledgeable and talked through various bottles helping us to decide. She also let us try a little from a number of open bottles to help in our decision. We had cheese pizzas for the kids, and Hawaiian for the adults. Both were delicious, and adequate for two to share. The mozzarella and tomato basil salad we had for starters was so fresh and easily worth the money. The night we went they had a man singing and playing guitar. He was good, and had the volume set at a good level so that you could listen to him, but still talk and have a conversation with your table easily. This was a big point to me too. I just wish I lived closer as I would definitely frequent this establishment much more often.
