I was going through the employment services, and one of the case workers for BFET(Wanda) turned out to have a narcissistic personality disorder. In my classes with her she would judge, criticize, compare, and then proceed to undermine, discourage, and plant lies about me. Who knows she probably started a smear campaign after I left. Wanda has an inflated sense of superiority and accomplishment. The reality is, she has a low self esteem. She wants people that she deems as a threat to her, to feel inferior, so that she can feel superior. I have absolutely no respect for this woman, and no interest in hearing anything that she has to say. She is always on her best behavior when the people who matter to her, are around. I have decided to take care of things on my own to avoid this place.

Ay! Definitely the best Goodwill in Spokane! Great selection and wide array of items. I went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was jam-packed. Very decent prices. Nice selection of wood pieces(i.e. spice racks, decorative pieces etc.), nice collections of dinnerware, books, kitchen items. The furniture area was a bit lacking but I’m sure their inventory is ever changing. The staff is friendly and the establishment is pretty clean and everything is ordered and uncluttered. Although other reviewers mentioned the Goodwill Café and even posted pictures of it, I, somehow, missed it completely. I have no idea how I missed it. I would love to have gotten a coffee or something from there. Maybe next time!

A solid Goodwill. The first time we went here, we were looking for furniture. We didn’t find much of anything. The second time, we came to really look. Here’s what I’d say about the selection this time: Art — pretty impressed! They had a lot of different pieces. We found 2, and I’d say we’re fairly picky. They were $ 5.99 each, which I thought was a fair price. Purses — not a fan. They had an aisle with purses and some racks at the front, but I didn’t find anything at all(impressive for me, really). They did have a lot, but nothing that looked appealing to me. Also, some Goodwills have a section where they put designer or higher end purses, usually in a glass case. I didn’t see that here. Jewelry — kind of the same story as the purses. The glass cases they did have were filled with jewelry kind of randomly, mostly plastic-y type necklaces and bracelets. There was a cop standing by them so I thought to myself, «oh! Here’s what I’m looking for!» But no. He was just standing there. Books/DVDs — not the best selection I’ve seen, but worth a return trip! I liked how the books were organized, by category. My boyfriend found some he wanted and he is not at all someone who enjoys thrifting like I do. The books are .99 for paperback and $ 1.99 for hardback, which I thought was quite fair! The DVD selection is okay. I found 2 workout DVDs that I’m excited about! Shoes — I was going to look at shoes, but I have a hard to find size and they don’t appear to organize these by size. Not unusual for a Goodwill, but still means that it’s not worth trying to sift through and find maybe the 1 or 2 pairs in my size. Clothes — I didn’t make it to these, so I can’t say. My boyfriend hates the noises of metal hangers moving on metal bars(?) so I didn’t want to subject him to that this time. Maybe next time! Electronics — we were looking for a DVD player and they had quite a few. Unfortunately, most of them came with the cord to plug it in and nothing else. We decided that it might be better to buy one online. Furniture — as I said, last time we were here, we wanted furniture and there wasn’t much. This time, there was a lot!(Isn’t that always the case?) The only reason we didn’t buy this gorgeous wood coffee table for $ 5.99(!) is we didn’t think it would fit in our car. Miscellaneous — we found some other things that were pretty cool. An ab roller, a griddle. They had a lot of vacuums at a pretty good price that I’d like to look at next time I’m here. It was busy, but it never felt too crowded or uncomfortable. So overall, I’d say I’m between 3 and 4 stars. Maybe next time when I explore more, it’ll be a solid 4 or even a 5. I’m looking forward to going back and seeing what I find next time! (As a side note, the parking lot is on the left of the building. At first we pulled in near the donation center on the right, but you can’t get in that way.)

This Goodwill is definitely one of my favorites for looking for clothing. It is much bigger than some of the other ones around and always have a great selection. They have 50% one tag all week long so typically I try to just look for those tags but sometimes find great deals on other ones as well. They have a HUGE dress selection and swim selection here so you can find cheap summer treasures! I typically try to stop in once a week just to check it out.

I said I would never shop in this store again. I decided to give it 1 more try, thinking that after a few months things had changed. What a mistake. There was only 1 employee actually working, a redhead that has excellent customer service skills. There was a young blonde flirting with everything she could get close to. She was flirting with the security guard, and a much older employee. She was extremely loud and giggled non stop. If you have to describe what a ditzy blonde is she would be it. She followed both all over the store never actually doing any work. I as well as several other customers asked to speak to the manager, of course he wasn’t in. The redheaded cashier offered to get the supervisor, but last time I was in it took almost 20 minutes to get one, I declined. The cashier however was very polite and apologized for the situation and offered me as well as 2 other customers they managers business card. I went to find patio furniture instead I ended up listening to a much older employee tell the ditzy blonde and security guard how he loves her loud giggling. It’s so innocent and it should stay that way. Yuck !!!

This Goodwill was big and close to where we were staying in Spokane. We checked it out and it was super crowded but we still stayed to rummage around. There was a few things we had found but I think it partially was due to wanting to find something. When deciding whether or not to buy anything we both had decided on no, because the items we had found weren’t super amazing for the prices and it was more so that we were just wanting to get something for the amount of time we had spent in this goodwill. I can see them having cute stuff but it must just depend. I think that sometimes the people that work there can get most of the donations or cute things that come in so the store isn’t left with much besides everything else.

Great selection of used baby clothes. I came out with about $ 100 worth of clothes for about $ 25. The location is very large and located just off of I-90. The lot is a bit tricky to navigate, but worth it when you see the selection inside.

Maybe I was just there on a day that was very picked over but I didn’t find much of anything. Due to the other reviews I will go to this location again in hopes of better luck and update my review with what I find.

Not only is this Goodwill much larger than many of the other locations I’ve been to in rural Washington, but it has its own little café! It was closed when I was there on a Saturday afternoon, but it looks like they make coffee, tea, and chai drinks, and may have some cookies and pastries for sale. So I’m guessing they don’t mind if you bring a drink while you shop. It’s very spacious inside(it feels like it might have been a Kmart or something in a previous life), and the focus is definitely on women’s clothing, which takes up a majority of the racks in the center of the store. There’s a decent-sized housewares section — oddly, the glassware and plates are sorted by color, which I’ve never seen at a Goodwill. The kids’ and toys sections seemed small, and not a lot of furniture, but a decent selection of art and frames. Prices are comparable to other Goodwills and they do have the half-off colored tag of the day, so it’s definitely worth a stop if you’re thrifting in the Spokane area.

One of the better thrift stores in general. I’m not sure why they have a separate annex with what they call«Collectibles & Better Quality Clothing». Give me a break, better yet give me a good old fashioned place to dig for treasure.
