I went to Affordable Optics with high hopes. I was more than disappointed. Though the doctor was pleasant, the entire appointment was over in 10 minutes. They didn’t dilate my eyes, despite me telling them I have a family history of glaucoma.
I thought they were just efficient until I took my prescription to my usual glasses store. When I received my glasses they were the wrong prescription. Not just a little wrong; they were completely unwearable. Luckily my glasses store replaced the lenses with my old prescription for free.
I will never go back to Affordable Optics. Worst experience I’ve ever had trying to get a new prescription.

After a horrendous experience at Eyeglass World, Affordable Optics was fantastic. My husband went in expecting a certain type of glasses at a set price — guess what! That’s exactly what happened. The lady explained everything and took the order expertly. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They said it would take about 2 weeks to get them, but they were done in only a week! The right glasses the first time! Very happy!
