Plantation Party House

Was there for a wedding. The grounds/​gazebo are a beautiful setting for a ceremony — although the outdoor seating seems to be limited, and would be more fitting for a smaller wedding. The food (roast chicken, twice baked potatoes, roast beef, ham, pasta salad) was good, but the Cheeze-​it Bow-​Tie Mac & Cheese was FANTASTIC. I’m desperate to find a recipe just like it. The dance floor is a great size, and the room offers a nice atmosphere. The back porch is a big beautiful place to take a break from dancing.

With a name like this you can’t help but be a little skeptical at first. JUST KIDDING! I was in a wedding this passed weekend at The Plantation Party House and I really liked it. You walk in to a «foyer» area, where you can hang coats etc, and then through the doors to the actually room where my friend’s reception was held. To the right is the bar, to your immediate left the dance floor (which I think could be a tad bigger but was perfect for this particular wedding) and then to the far left and the back were the tables. The décor was very elegant and pretty. The food was very good, and the staff were friendly. Thumbs up for the Plantation Party House! I had an awesome time there this passed weekend in my friend’s wedding!
