Wow. I have to agree with another post I read on the Palm Restaurant. The décor won’t inspire you to re decorate your own house and the sign? What sign? But oh my chickens was that Philly steak and cheese good. My wife Miss Food Snob herself thought she would settle for the cheeseburger. After 2 bites she called our wonderful waitress over and said girl make me another to go and throw in a piece of that cake. By the way prices are awesome too. Glad we made the drive to try it.

The Palm Tree is the best Sparta has to offer and easy to find. From the well laid out parking lot to the manicured landscape and don’t forget the very formal entry way. Once you get inside the décor is lavish. Now if you are expecting all the above stay home. The food is the best and that is what you should be concerned about. The owner Mr. Gary is a super nice guy. The lemon pepper chicken wings are off the hook and don’t forget the red velvet cake. You can’t go wrong. It is the best place to eat in Sparta.

Palm Tree is Sparta’s best kept secret. If you’ve never been there you would never know it’s even a restaurant. Mr Gary and his girls are the friendliest people you will ever meet. They have the best cheese steak sandwich I’ve ever had. I live 300 miles away and deer hunt in Sparta. Every hunting season I make it a point to stop by Palm Tree for a cheese steak. My husband loves the wings. If you’re ever in Sparta Ga ask a local where the Palm Tree is. You won’t be disappointed.

Located in what appears to be an abandoned building with no sign or marked parking spots, this place has everything. An entryway with 3 doors, 2 of which lead no where. A giant tv from 1996. Styrofoam cups. An outdoor deck indoors. And the feeling that you are the only person there who expects a weekday lunch of all fried food to take less than 2 hours.
