Please skip Panera and go to Greene Beans instead. I usually get Panera Lattes in Sparta wishing it was Starbucks, or even McCafe, since the Panera lattees just don’t have any depth. I’m drinking my first Greene Bean Latte now and it’s the BEST. And it’s so homey and charming, please support the better quality underdog.

Great place for coffee and tea! The vanilla chai and café mocha with a shot of espresso is a MUST have. Such a comfy little place that makes you feel just as cozy as if you were at your own home.

Adorable quaint little local shop with delicious organic choices, love their organic chocolate too. Try their quiche! Sometimes it will take a few minutes to get your bagel made or to check out, but it’s worth it to support local businesses.

Good coffee and nice place; however, I just watched one of the servers take out all the trash bags in shop to the trash bins in the back and return to start serving food. Serious, after handling garbage I would expect a server to wash before handling my food. Granted he was young – but seriously – that was disgusting.

Wonderful employees, so-so coffee. I found the«triple certified» Guatemalan beans to be overroasted and, quite honestly, not-so-great. The Brazil Cerrado, however, pretty good. At $ 16/lb, though? It’s overpriced. Really, really overpriced. Lots of cool coffee equipment(including Chemex!), but no Hario accessories makes me sad. Small town roasters can quite often = bleh coffee. Their Brazilian, though, is something I’d go back for if I was thinking of spending $$$. As usual, I make no excuses for my discernible palate and/or totally dickish attitude towards coffee. Hooray!

Until Sparta gets a Starbucks we have two good independent coffee shops and this one is great. They space is nice with comfy chairs and tables, free wifi and unobtrusive music. Coffee is self serve and very good with a new selection appearing pretty regularly. Espresso and tea drinks are well done by nice people. Not the best and I hesitate to call them baristas, but they’re competent. Need a tea set or a coffee gift for someone? Great selections up front. Good house made treats too. Wish they had longer hours, but it is Sparta, so we still have no nighttime place to hang out that’s not a bar or one of the worse DDs in the area. Hate to think of what will happen to this place or Cloveberry when the big guy from Seattle gets here, so I’ll enjoy this for as long as I can. Maybe our brand-driven town will be strong enough to keep this place going. Hope so.
