I take my kids here twice a year: once in the fall for their pumpkin patch and hay rides, and the best time ever: in the spring for Baby Animals days. We have been going for three years now, and we all adore it. My children marvel at the baby cows, pigs, sheep and ducks, and I love that they get a chance to interact with the animals: holding chicks and petting goats. The baby animal days can get really busy, so I recommend a stroller for non-walkers or new toddlers, and come about 15 minutes before they open. You wait a bit for them to get their staff sorted, but then have the run of the place before it gets rammed. It’s $ 6 a person, and cash seems to be easiest, although I think they have a square now.

We love this place. We go every year and had my son’s 1st birthday party here last year. You access the patch off of Pyramid and onto a dirt road on your right. The signs are very clear and there is plenty of parking once you’re there. The parking, patch and kids attractions are stroller friendly but you’d probably have difficulty with a stroller in the corn maze(we did). There are usually hayrides, farm animals, coloring stations, and an assortment of fall activities. The animals are the best! Many kinds and all super friendly and happy. We live the alpacas and the giant chicken coop. Additionally, they have a large themed corn maze that is very well laid out and usually themed with an activity(think scavenger hunt) and, also, a small toddler height corn maze. Pumpkins are pretty pricey of course but that’s typical for a pumpkin patch vs the store. The best time to go is in the late afternoon to avoid school groups from the morning and older kids and families that come in the evening for the maze. Aftet reading a few other reviews I’d like to say, very young children have to be supervised closely here as this is a working farm; there can be issues like debris on the ground and choking hazards but these would be at any similar attraction. This is by far the most professional, safest and most fun patch in the area.

So many fun hands on things to do. It took us a while to get out here because they do have somewhat limited hours, but we were determined to bring the kids. Easy to find with signage on Pyramid right before the turnoff onto a well maintained dirt road. You will want to bring a camera, lots of lovely photo opportunities with the rustic and beautiful backdrop of this working farm. My family enjoys being outdoors, and with the perfect fall evening weather we could have stayed for hours. My toddler loved how hands on everything was. Lots of various activities and play areas in addition to the pumpkin patch itself. My younger child really enjoyed just watching all the kids playing, looking at the animals, and loved the sensory experience of the corn shed play area(although I didn’t let her stay long because as babies do, she inevitably wanted to shove fistfuls of the dried corn kernals into her mouth). My toddler loved the barrel train ride and was able to ride a few times as we went when there wasn’t much a line. One of the times we were the only ones and rather than making us wait until the barrels filled up, they went ahead and took us for a ride. That was appreciated! The boys operating the hay ride and the barrel ride were great, enthusiastic and fun. I imagine the experience maybe influenced on how crowded it is as a lot of the activities are self-directed and if there are some uncourteous customers it could get frustrating. We only had one small incident that could have soured our experience, but it wasn’t Andelin, it was another family who encouraged their kids to butt ahead and take toys from other kids who were using them, there isn’t any one on staff to really regulate the behaviour of other patrons. We resolved it by simply moving onto another activity(and steering clear of rude patrons). There are photo cut outs, a tire track with bikes, bean bag toss, water pump duck race, bales of hay to climb and jump, mini«cornmaze» made out of hay bales, climbing tower, corn kernal shed, slingshot shooting gallery, a toddler area inside the barn, slides, wonderful foam imagination«garden». Animals they have are chickens, turkeys, llama, emus, pigs, goats, alpacas, mini donkeys, Horses, and a couple of sleek little black kitties. Only suggestions for improvement would be to offer better lavatory facilities(they have sani hut portable toilets), hand washing facilities, and maybe if they expand they can offer some food concessions.(currently they offer some small prepackaged snacks like poptarts, fruit snacks, popcorn, candy, honey stix, bottled water) It would be wonderful if they had hot chocolate/hot cider and some warm savory foods avail(how about Elotes style corn on the cob? Corndogs? easy things like that).

The Corn Maze and Corn Creepers Haunted Attraction was the best! The staff was friendly and all Creepers were scary. Well worth the price(a deal is given when you do both) that you need to go early to do the corn maze and wait until the corn creepers opens to get them both in one night. They also have a pumpkin patch with different attractions. The location was great, no problem with parking. Highly recommend this for everyone’s fun list. They also have a signal for the Creepers if your a little more scared when you go in that if they see the signal they won’t give you such a scare. Kuddoos for thinking of all the fright seekers!!!

We went on a class trip this morning to the Pumpkin Patch. They were disorganized at best. They had too many different classes and schools going. This farm sent out a flyer about doing stuff for Autistic kids which we thought was great since my sons class is Autistic kids. They started out our 3 year olds mixed with another school in the corn maze. It was hard to hold my sons hand and walk at a 3 year old pace without losing him in the many people. We were so disappointed that we left. I wrote a Facebook review where the company told me I was at a different farm. Unless there are two farms at 8100 Pyramid Way, I was at Andelin Farm Pumpkin Patch. The shirts with pumpkins the staff were wearing also said Andelin farm so… Very unprofessional response to an unhappy customer. Take your children to people who don’t have nails by the handful on the ground everywhere you walk.

The Andelin Family Farm is a great place to see working farm with loads of fun activities for you and old alike. The staff assisted us in parking and purchasing tickets with my credit card was easy. The activities such as feeding goats, horse rides, hay ride, face painting and corn cob shooting can keep you busy for 90 – 120 minutes. I like the staff and their excellent customer service.
