GoWireless Verizon Premium Retailer

What a complete waste of time. I too did not realize that this store is a privately owned «phone dealer» and in no way associated with the Verizon company. They are misleading with their signage and merchandise.
I came in to upgrade to a new phone that was not in stock (as I expected) so they placed an order and said it would arrive in 11 days (which I was totally fine with). They were adamant that I DO NOT call the store and that they would call me upon its arrival. This was to minimize the flood of calls they get from customers anticipating their orders I’m sure. So I paid $ 70.00 upfront and signed all the necessary paperwork and went on my way.
Cut to 11 days later and I got no phone call. A few more days go by… no phone call. 17 days later I am in a REAL Verizon store with another person and mentioned this offhand to the sales person. They looked into it and apparently GoWireless accidentally ordered the incorrect phone for me and instead of calling me to inform me/​reconcile they just CANCELLED the order completely and made no attempt to reach me. Like I said, a complete waste of time. The real Verizon employees didn’t understand why they would just cancel an order and not contact me at all and are having the correct phone overnighted to me free of charge. Screw GoWireless.

I went to this store think it was a Verizon corporate store. I didn’t know it was a separate company flying the Verizon name. I had a good experience while there. I was inquiring about switching over from t-​mobile. However the price sheet the representative gave me appeared to have been photocopied over and over again. It didn’t look very professional and was hard to read.
