Food was fantastic! New location is a bit difficult due to construction, but it is completely worth winding through the back way! Lamb and beef bowl was amazing and the prices are very reasonable. Go now! You won’t regret it!

I can’t believe that I’m just getting around to writing a review. There it’s no other way to describe this place other than wonderful! The food is always so fresh and flavorful and the crew that works there is amazing. I think I’ve been there at least once a week for the past month and everytime that I go in is always a great experience.

Love this place! My favorite is the chicken pita(kebap) and it was very filling by itself although I’ve had the fries and falafel in the past and they are tasty. Similar to Chipotle but with a Mediterranean twist. Pick your entrée and protein and load it up with toppings. Nice healthy alternative to the usual places. Found out about this place by by office in Plano and was excited to find one near us in Southlake! Will be back!

Delicious kebaps, with lots of good veggie options to go on top. The house sauce is great on falafel. It’s easy to make a meal that is tasty and healthy. The staff is really friendly and helpful too. While there is construction at Davis and Southlake Blvd, enter by Sprouts or go past Verts on Southlake and turn in the first driveway on the right. You can cut through parking lots to get here. Definitely worth it.

Great service and great food. I always get the salad bowl and my wife the original potatoes. Both are awesome, with the variety of sauces and toppings. So glad it’s close to us. Service is excellent, and very friendly and attentive. Several local craft beers.

Verts hooked it up today. Good portions and fresh taste. Glad it’s worth fighting the traffic for to get here.

I came here because my friend highly recommended it to me since they know I really like gyros. It seems like a lot more restaurants are copying the«chipotle» food service style. I ordered a snack size kebap with lamb/beef. I usually go right when they open so it is sliced fresh. From there I get the Garlic sauce and top it with cucumbers, feta, spinach and cilantro. The cilantro used to be fresh but now its a saucy version. Every time I come in it seems like they add something new to the menu, so its great to see them trying to constantly improve. The sandwich is really good, the bread is slightly toasted and the garlic sauce is the bomb! The meat is good and not dry. I also ordered some fries and they are fried fresh to order and have a really great seasoning on them, definitely worth a try if dining in. The fries get soggy pretty fast if you take them to go, probably because of the container. The service is always great, but since its a line sometimes it takes a while to get your food if someone in front is ordering a lot or indecisive.

Visited VertsKebap with my coworkers today & really enjoyed it. Love the concept. Love the atmosphere. And the kepab was fresh & delicious. I would probably love it more if there was a choice of grilled chicken, but I get that’s not the concept. I also tried the fries and they were pretty good. Really friendly and hospitable staff as well!

DELICIOUS!!! Tried this place on a whim– all of the pictures on Unilocal looked awesome! I got the beef/lamb salad. The(very friendly) guy working behind the counter suggested I get chicken or falefal(did I even spell that right?), but I was pretty insistent on the beef. He let me try both the beef/lamb and chicken– both were fantastic, but I stuck with my choice! I got the salad the«original style», but I subbed the house sauce for the garlic sauce(after seeing so many reviews). It was PHENOMENAL. I’m really, really skeptical of their nutrition. They have a flat calorie amount for all beef salads, all chicken salads, all chicken wraps, etc. They don’t break it down by what toppings or sauces you get. My salad was supposedly 277 calories… I think it would have to be at least double that, based on the sauces. As an avid calorie counter, I really really wish they’d update their site to be more specific with the nutrition count. Anyways. I finished my salad 30 minutes ago. I’m already looking forward to going back!

Still very solid. This time I took the salad route, as I’m cutting down on the carbs. Not that I think the«bun» is all that much, but every little bit helps. I went for the small falafel salad. Very good. Loved the tangyness(is that a word?) of the balsamic vinegar dressing. I see now there is a happy(ish) hour. «Halfy Hour — ½ Price Beer Every Tuesday, 5−10PM» Cool! Bottom line: When you can’t decide on a place to eat, think vertical. PS. Rating is because, in this particular class of restaurant(Subway model), I really do think it is «as good as it gets.»

Quick tips: Try a mini kebap if you aren’t super hungry, but the best value is in their larger kebap. I think the lamb/beef is the best kebap, but the chicken is also good. There is a vegetarian option if you want meatless falafel goodness. Food: They have different dressing options or you can customize your dressing. I think the spicy red is good, but true to name and not for the faint hearted. Ambiance: Basic counter service and normal décor. Business based out of Austin. Service: Friendly, no frills, but fast.

Came here on a whim late last night because the name sounded unique and they were open till 10. Greeted with a warm welcome when we arrived. The location was clean, bright, and simple. Get specific menu — choices of kebap(this cool bread), wrap, or salad… beef/lamb, chicken, or falafel. Then various ways to top it — plus different delicious sauces. I had the falafel kebap made house style. We also had chicken kebaps and an order of regular fries and sweet potato fries to share. Everything was delicious and very fresh! Kids thought the organic Root beer and blueberry sodas were weird. This is a casual place that just hit the spot for us. Super friendly and helpful staff. We will be back and are now fans of the kebap!

I got the chicken kebab, full size. It was pretty big and was able to share with my cousin. We ordered sweet potato fries which were very delicious. Food wise, the ingredients were fresh and the chicken was delicious! I also really liked the balsamic vinaigrette dressing. My first time trying a kebab and I really enjoyed it. However, I think the prices are just a little too high for me(9.36 for the kebab and fries, no drinks) Because of that, I think I’d rather go to Chipotle next door. If it weren’t for the prices, this would definitely be a go-to spot for lunch. I do recommend trying it out at least once! Staff is friendly and the space was very clean!

I’m a big fan of Mediterranean food and I’ve seen this place on my local Unilocal map for some time and want to try it. We were greeted warmly by the one guy behind the counter when we entered store. Decour inside is modern with mixed materials and some internal landscaping. The process for ordering has a small learning curve. It’s a bit like chipotle, where you choose your meat, a bowl a wrap or a kebab, and either one of four predetermined styles or a custom set of ingredients, plus some add ons The staff was very good at explaining how the process worked and we were able to choose quickly without feeling rushed. I ordered the Texan kebab, and my daughter got the Verts Original in a wrap. We also tried The side order falafel, the Black and Blue ice coffee from the tap, and a double brown Stout from Deep Ellum Brewery. My kebab was very good, though I should’ve known better than to leave right jalapeños in it. It was a bit spicy for my taste, but not the fault of the sandwich. Ingredients were fresh and tasty, especially the sauce and the meat. The bread was a little dry for me. Next time I’ll try the wrap, which comes in a large tortilla. The falafels were some of the best I’ve had, second only to the falafel drive-in in San Jose. These were hot, crispy, and had an interesting citrusy flavor to them. The house dipping sauce is Dee-Lish. A great experience, great service, good food and nice atmosphere left me wanting more!

Where has this place been all my life?!? Defiantly going to be on my weekly rotation of places to eat in Southlake! VertsKebap is like a mediterranean chipotle! Walk up order a pita, salad or sandwich customize it and go eat! Verts doesn’t have many options but they do the few extremely well! I got the beef/lamb salad transitional style. It was big enough I made too meals out of it. The mix of the tangy yogurt sauce and spicy sauce was absolutely out of this world! I have a feeling I’m not going to try anything else bc it was just that good! I was bad and got the falafel… And I regret it… because it was incredibly good!!! Now I’m going to have to order it too every time I go. Not really diet friendly. My ONLY complaint is no kid menu. The restaurant itself is very clean and well staffed!

I picked their signature lamb and beef on kebap bread. The meat was nicely roasted and well-seasoned. I found the saltiness was just right. I had gyro sandwiches before and they all tended to be on the salty side. Not a whole lot of fat either, but good enough to make it tender to chew on. I asked for quite a lot of veggies — lettuce, red lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, etc, which made a pretty healthy meal. The spicy hot dressing added more flavor to the meat and veggies. The kebap bread was quite unique. It looked like a kaiser roll before it was totally«flattened» by a panini machine and sliced open to hold the meat and veggies. It was quite chewy and slightly toasty. I liked it a lot. One thing, not related to food, I have to say is the sink in the restroom. It’s quite stylistic. Please see my attached picture. I’m not sure if it’s the same type used on the ladies’ side.

I love Mediterranean style food with all the great flavors and vegetables. VertsKebap is a great addition to the fast food options for those that are wanting a healthier option. The idea behind VertsKebap is that you get to build your own pita, wrap or salad with your choice of their beef/lamb meet, chicken or vegetables. There are two sizes of Kebaps available the regular and the snack. I ordered the regular and was struggling to eat the whole thing. I tried the beef/lamb combination and it was very tasty. While I enjoyed it, it seemed like there could have been a little more lamb in the mix to provide the traditional Mediterranean flavor, but I was very good. The vegies were awesome. I added the spring mix, onions, cucumbers and the grilled mushrooms. The next big decision is the sauces. Trust the staff on this one because they will make some suggestions about what combination to use. I like it spicy so they used three different sauces, and it was fantastic. We also tried a small falafel, which were good but I do not know if I would order them again or not. I just did not need them with the sandwich to be full and satisfied. The staff were great and very welcoming. We will be stopping back in here to get some more of this great food for sure.
