Very cute store. They carry a lot of things you don’t really see elsewhere like some old school gag toys. I brought my kid sister here and she picked out a gag toy that was a bloody bandage with a nail sticking out of it, got to freak out our parents for a second.
The last time I went was just a few minutes before close. The lady manning the store didn’t make it obvious that it was time to leave like start to turn off the lights, or try to get me out or anything.

Great toy shop! We love that they have a small area for children to play in while adults shop. They also have a story time on Fridays I believe, although we have only come to that once. They always have great ideas on what to based on age and gender. Possibly the best part is that they wrap any presents for you! It is amazing!

The owls nest is my go to place when I have to buy a gift for a kid!
They have great prices and a large selections of toys you won’t find anywhere!
They offer hand painted table trays, clipboards, totes, water bottles… And much much more! Seriously the list goes on and on.
I love how the store feels cosy and warm. They have it organized by age and type. Makes shopping with a little one stress free!
To put the cherry on top… COMPLEMENTARY GIFT WRAPPING!!!

Love this hole in the wall toy shop! My kids beg and beg to go here! The option for golden coins as a redeemable gift is brilliant! Most Friday mornings there is story time which my kids enjoy.

OK, aside from being a cool little toy store packed with cool toys, the young lady working there was good enough to wrap my purchases. I hated to think about them being unwrapped. They were that nice. Oh, and she didn’t charge me for the wrapping. Wow! This is a must see store when you are in South Lake. Hint, if you need to buy a toy, look on line first. Go into the store with the SKU and she will look it up and save you a lot of time. Full range of prices. You can’t help but find something within your budget.

Nice variety, unique options, and one of the only places you can find vintage toys without shopping online. Owner and employees are always friendly and helpful. They even offer free gift wrapping and they do a great job! It’s small so there isn’t as much to choose from as some other places which can be bad on occasion but usually it’s nice not to be overwhelmed by a big store with too many things to see.

What a great little store! I adore, seriously adore this variety of toy store. A wide variety of good ol’ REAL toys, wooden, games, vintage toys… Playmobil, arts & craft sets, science and spy kits, a fabulous play kitchen set with great, fun sets and a small, but decent book section. It’s not a huge space, but it is a very well laid out space. It’s organized and tidy and we very happily spent close to 45min in here with my newly 9-​year-​old niece on her Birthday outing.
It’s a toy store I actually look forward to finding myself at again!
