There are so many different dessert options in the Southlake area that it’s taken me almost 2 years to finally get over to The Ice Cream Place, but I promise it won’t take that long to get back!
Customer service was great, seating was clean, and the ice cream was great! Lots of great flavors to choose from, many of them somewhat unique (though they have all the staples you’d expect to see). We typically just go to Baskin Robins because it’s close and familiar, but we’ll be going here from now on.

I absolutely love the ice cream place! I’ve been going for years now. They have the BEST strawberry ice cream, and they also have the best ice cream cake I’ve ever tasted. I would highly recommend the cake to anyone that wants to change it up for their birthday!

I have no idea why everyone doubts this place and says it is bad. They are pretty great. They have all the original flavors and they taste pretty good. There is nothing wrong with this place, it even has a punchcard system where you get a free ice cream for some number of ice creams you buy. I will continue to go to this place and I will ignore what other people have said.

We drive from Las Colinas to come here. The ice cream is delicious and there are plenty of flavors to choose from. The owner always has a smile & takes time to chat with you. In this day & age where trendy «Fro Yo» places are a dime a dozen, it’s nice to find a good old fashioned ice cream place. Prices are very reasonable! Support small business owners in our town!

I thought I had lost my taste for ice cream bc of all the lousy cheaply made gelato and low quality ice cream shops around Southlake… Then I went to the awesome place. The highest quality premium! A little bit more expensive but guess what it’s not crap!

Delicious ice cream, good variety of flavors! Super clean too. Wanted to try something different than our normal frozen yogurt place but we aren’t a fan of Baskin Robins or Braums.

Went there in the spur of an ice cream craving. I found the owner very quiet, but nice. Ice cream was over priced per scoop and was not really anything special. You’re better off bribing someone to make you some homemade or making a trip to the grocery then going here…

Absolutely great ice cream. They order everything from the Ice Cream Club in Florida, a distribution chain that makes old-​fashioned ice cream without preservatives. They have incredibly rich and flavorful choices and tons of flavors that you literally won’t find anywhere else in Dallas. Definitely stop by there if you’re in the area — you won’t regret it and you might just get hooked!

This is a privately owned family run business that has the best ice cream in town. He will also make ice cream cakes for you. This shop is one of those where they remember you and you make a difference in their business. You can have anything the way you want, and the scoops are a great size. Try it once and no other ice cream will touch this one.
