Southington Rustic Fence

Mike and the crew at Southington Rustic Fence are awesome. We had our back yard fenced in with the 6×8 vinyl panels. The lot is an odd shape and we had 2 gates installed. I was not happy with the look of one of the gates so they came right out and fixed it. Great communication and accountability.

We had a good experience from beginning to end. Got the quote quickly. Mike told us we chose their most expensive vinyl fence and we could save by selecting an alternate choice. We stuck with what we liked. When our landscape project was finished the fence was installed. The installers were great and the job well done. Can’t comment on cost as we did not get other quotes. I prefer to deal with reliable people and not worry about getting absolute lowest cost.

I got in touch with Southington Rustic Fence through The Home Depot, looking for a chain link fence. Mike came out and was great, informative, took measurements, and sent three quotes based on height and vinyl coating or no. During the city permit application process I learned the fence could only be 90 feet long, not the 100′ Mike had based quotes on. I still wanted to go ahead with them (I had quotes from 2 other companies also) because they didn’t try to up-​sell me and the price was fair, and I liked Mike.
I called and was told by a young man in the office who identified himself as Anders then corrected himself to AHN-​ders that Mike was on vacation for two weeks. I asked to talk to Jeff and he was not available so I left a message for him with Ahnders. No callback. I called twice more. I am still waiting. I like my new fence — I got a better deal from another company as it turned out. I Wonder why sales people wouldn’t even give a routine follow-​up call?

We love our new fence! Mike and Jeff were there every step of the way to answer any questions we had. Crew was neat and professional.
