This place is great if you want to go enjoy some country nightlife, but as far as everything else goes, stay away. I went to Cadillac Ranch with a few friends recently on a Saturday night, this was my first time here. The waitress finally came up and asked if we wanted a menu– we had already been sitting there for a good half hour. 45 minutes later, still no menu. So I went up to the bar to get one for myself. When we eventually found her again, we ordered a steak and cheese and two ordered of mozzarella sticks, seems easy right? Well, with no exaggeration here, we waited for our food for over 2 hours. I finally had enough of waiting and went to the bar to retrieve my debit card– which she would not place the food order without. Within 15 minutes of asking to cancel our order and cash out, my greasy steak and cheese shows up along with 2 orders of freezer grade mozzarella sticks. Now what took 2 hours is beyond me. I asked for a glass of water and the waitress told me they have bottled only and there was a charge. Really? A man beside me told me that he asked for a glass of water also since they he had been drinking and planned to drive, all they would provide him was a bottle of water that they charged for. Who does that? We had to hunt the waitress down yet AGAIN to get our check, and she would not give us our debit cards back until we signed our receipts and handed them back to her. There was no apology about our wait time, and no offer to make right on it– instead we were charged full price and didn’t eat half of the nasty food. I will definitely never be back here for food again as long as I live– I’m sorry to say but I’ve never seen such terrible, inconsiderate service at any other restaurant and the food was not acceptable for the 2 hour wait time.

All the nasty reviews about this place are too kind. Shitty service, not enough waitstaff, food takes 1.5+ hours to get to the table, etc. Do yourself a favor and stay home. The Cadillac Ranch sucks.

This is not a place for people who want to night club. It’s just weird folks. Def not user friendly. Very serious about the line dancing, freestyle is frowned upon. Service was good. We had chicken wings only, they were fine. Drink prices were great, $ 5 a beer is what I am talking about. Now let’s talk about the mechanical bull– long line, men standing around watching ladies try and FAIL to be sexy. It’s hilarious. You can’t be dumped forward ass up and think that looks good. My ass will never get on something where someone other than me has control of the joystick. The outfits were very entertaining. People actually put on pants with stripes of fabric missing in them looked in the mirror and said, «I look good I’m going out in this». Rhinestone belts on dudes? Does that actually happen in Texas? Been there, nope it doesnt. Smh.

I love Cadillac Ranch. I was just there for the sole purpose of doing karokee. We didn’t show up until 8pm. Pros: The Karokee guy is crazy talented and they have a huge song selection. He was great with just going with the flow. Cons: the service is super slow, however our waitress was so fun and bubbly.

Have had some fun times here. However I was really disappointed to find I could not get free water this most recent time. I’ve been paying for drinks all night is it really necessary to make me pay for free water? Especially when everyone is dancing and working up a sweat. It’s ridiculous! Every other line dancing bar I’ve been to had no problem giving out free tap water!

Adequate dinner for a bar. I was very disappointed that they did not serve water out of the tap. What is this place? A concert venue? Please have some common sense and provide you paying customers with tap water. I mean I’m sweating over here dancing my pants off and could use a beverage that isn’t a $ 2 bottle of water. Also $ 5 for a «D.J.» Who only plays hit country music is a rip Pro: Line dancing and good venue for large groups Con: Service was slow and they have funky rules. $ 15 min for credit cards and no tap water

This place could be alot more welcoming to new comers. The dj was actually happy when there were hardly any people up for the ONEFREE lesson. It seemed like an aerobics class with a dj who only cared about his dance team. Also I noticed a lot less country top hits then when I went 3 years ago. If I want to hear madonna ill go elsewhere. However the cover charge is no biggie and its nice to hear at least some country music. I am most upset that they ignore new customers. No one dares to dance in the free dance zone for fear of looking like an idiot.

I was not happy about the Cadillac Ranch at all! Everything is over priced. There is a $ 5 cover charge, just for walking in. Mind you I was going there for dinner, the food was horrible. It arrived cold and the wait staff took forever. Despite everything I still tired to participate in the line dancing, I have know idea why I did that! It was so complicated and difficult to follow. I even politely asked the DJ to play a few popular country hits and he ignored me! Bad service, poor staff, rude DJ, over priced watered down drinks. I managed to speak with the manager and got brushed off. Don’t bother going here.

Went with some friends for a birthday and it was interesting! Beer selection was poor mostly bud and coors products, food seemed microwaved. There is a $ 5 cover to walk through the door and be aware that if your drinking and ask for a glass of water they won’t give it to you. However they have bottled water for purchase. The mechanical bull is entertaining and dancing is good if your into that stuff.

Unfriendly management which is very unsupportive of other, local businesses. Poor tap selection. Unclean tap lines. Terrible, outdated atmosphere. Overpriced shots. Would prefer any other bar in the state.

I asked for a tap water and they would not give it to me. The only way they would serve water is if you paid 4 $ for a glass of water. Absolute shit when I’m paying for drinks all night and my driver wants to get a water. Honestly Cadillac ranch is shit.

My initial review is based on my first experience visiting CR. As we all know all to well first impressions mean a lot. The location was easy to find and the parking was not a problem, plenty of parking available. There was a cover and that kinda surprised me. There was no live bands and the bar looked plenty busy. The patrons looked decent and the mood was good. We found a table easy and a server approached us fast, def bonus! Music at the dance floor was constant and loud enough to talk which was a nicer than those house music dance bars that can make you sick with all that ear damaging bass! Here’s where CR is a bit intimidating, if you don’t learn the dances or attend the instructional class earlier in the night, you will be sitting all night watching everyone have a much better time than you :( Note to self: learn the dances prior to visiting CR and maximize your experience, plus justify paying a cover that’s well worth it your time out on the dance floor. Al in all, CR is a fun country bar nestled in the foothills of CT. BTW I have lived in CT my whole life and just realized there was a country bar in state lol! Definite recommend

I hadn’t been to Cadillac Ranch in almost 14 years when my friend invited me this past Saturday. Needless to say, I’ll never be returning. I paid my $ 5 cover to get in & For starters, they charge you $ 1 to use your debit/credit card. In Connecticut, not only is that illegal, it’s almost unheard of. Then, they tack on a $ 15 minimum on top of the $ 1 charge to use your card at the bar. The bartender of course offered me use of their ATM which comes with an even steeper«convenience» charge.(Not to mention the one I would have to pay Webster Bank for using said ATM) When we arrived around 8:50, we went right to the bar. After waiting almost 10 minutes, we were finally acknowledged by the bartender. We were a party of 4, she took the first drink order & all of a sudden, The National Anthem came on. The bartender literally disappeared & while I thought I was at a bar, I was yelled at not once but twice for trying to figure out what was going on. I had no idea that the«bar» shut down during the National Anthem, and I paid for it by being told to shut up by a «body guard» & shushed by a waitress. I’m an American, I have no problem being respectful, but being«new» to the establishment, I just had no idea. I not only felt ripped off for paying $ 5 to get in, I had to buy beers I didn’t want to drink to meet their $ 15 minimum, had to pay $ 1 to buy the beer I didn’t want to order, & I was treated completely disrespectfully by not one but 2 staff. I would have spent at minimum another $ 300 there that night, instead, we walked out & will never return. Normal people, beware.

Here’s the deal. This place is pretty cool and fun. I went there with about 20 friends to celebrate a double birthday on a Saturday night. I honestly can’t remember the last time I paid a cover to get into a bar when there wasn’t a live band playing… but since it’s been so long, I didn’t mind ponying up the $ 5. Also, I was drinking some light domestic beers and they were pretty cheap($ 3.50). I do prefer better, tastier beers when I’m out for a shorter, tamer evening and this place did have some decent stuff on tap in addition to a HUGE domestic selection. The staff was welcoming and very nice and the bartenders were attentive. A nice bonus for one of the birthday girls was getting an extra shot out of a bunch that one of the b’tenders was making for us. As a boyish looking lesbian I was a little fearful that I’d get the usual funny looks in the bar and especially the ladies room but there was none of that. I felt completely comfortable there and that was huge to me. If you decide to go here are my top Do’s: Do shut up if you hear the National Anthem playing. I think they play it every night at a certain time. I wasn’t paying attention and was waving my money at the bar only to be reminded by a fellow patron that I must wait until the song is over. I felt like a total tool too. Do ride the mechanical bull or encourage your friends to do it. I passed on the ride but enjoyed watching my friends flail about greatly. Do try to get there by 8pm and take one of their free line dance lessons. We missed most of this but those who got there early seemed to be having much fun.

We travelled from Philly up to the Cadillac Ranch hoping to experience some good old line dancing and bull riding. They did have both, but what we experienced more was a bunch of rowdy locals with attitudes. The waitresses were rude, the people didn’t take kindly to strangers. We had a drink, some over priced chicken fingers and then headed on our way. I have never felt so uncomfortable or so unwelcomed in a bar in my life. Usually I am the first one to talk to anyone and have a good time anywhere. This place just has a bad vibe. The only thing I really liked was at some point in the night they had everyone stand for the pledge of allegiance. I thought that was pretty darn cool! America! eff yeah!
