This is a great little lunch spot — ordered a Chris’ chicken sandwich — flavorful and tender. Potato salad was also very good. The free piece of cake was dry — but it’s a nice jesters. Was there during the lunch hour on a Saturday so I didn’t catch the live music. The lunch boxes are really cool — but some of the design is a bit chaotic — some 60’s hippy meets vintage lunch boxes meets bar meets coffee bar. But the food was very good — portions were right but if you order a salad you’re getting a meal because they give you a lot. If I’m in the area and looking for a good hot sandwich I’ll be back.

This is the best «real» burger in town! They also have a coffee bar, making it the perfect place to eat lunch. I inevitably feel an imminent nap after I pack away the last bite of cake (yes, cake comes with your burger lunch), and grab a red eye on the way out so that I won’t pass out on my desk in the afternoon. They have a great beer selection as well, and host open-​mic nights and live bands! This is more than just your average lunchbox.

Came here on a Friday night to see a local band that was performing. Enjoyed our night– complete with ciders and craft beers. Service was good. I’m sure their food and coffees are great as well– though we did not get to try!

No problems. Nothing special. Service a tad slow, but really not bad, but they weren’t very busy either. Had the reuben. It was an average to good reuben. I drew the moody goth girl as my server and she wasn’t exactly wowing me with customer service. Nothing wrong, but she was pretty sullen. Entertaining lunch boxes on the wall.

Until recently Willie was a Unilocal advertiser and you couldn’t search for a proctologist without Willie popping up. He may need to become an advertiser again or REALLY step it up.
Lunch with several friends from a confusing and over ambitious menu. Burgers were ok-​generally overdone with greasy sides of fries and rings. Other sandwich selections were pedestrian at best and over-​priced. The «free» cake is a joke.
Today’s visit counts as 2: first and last.

A lunch box museum with great food, the Ruben sandwich was very tender and tasted fresh not left over, the fried pickles are always a treat and well done here, there were no complaints about the good sized chicken salad sandwich either, another treat was the shrimp coated in grits and fried! Free cake at the end was just the right amount. A bit dreary but made up by delightful wait service.

Went here yesterday with my husband and will definitely be back! Great service, great food, and a cool atmosphere. My husband got the egg salad sandwich with fried pickles and I got the chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries. Yum! Can’t wait to try some other things on the menu next time we go back!

I stopped in here on my way through town. I found it on Unilocal.I had a very good Ruben. The fries were frozen, crinkle cut. Service was good. Not particularly slow. But it wasn’t busy when I was there.

My favorite place for lunch. Not the place to go if you want to be in and out quickly, everything is made to order, so just relax and listen to the mellow live jazz or acoustic most days, and enjoy a local/​Carolina made craft beer. Some of my favs here include all the Phillys, steak, chicken, or Greek chicken, the burgers are good, and the Tracie’s chicken wrap has me on repeat the last several visits. I have never had a meal here that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy going back several years to the old Morganton rd location.
The store is clean and the staff is friendly. The dining room is a bit large and they do a good carry out business so lunch can be a bustle, but go at 11 or 1:15 and you’ll miss the peak rush.

Pretty average fare, reminds me of bar food. Had the Carolina burger which was hearty but not a lot in terms of taste. Fries taste like something from a freezer. Mac and cheese bites were really good.

Might be my favorite place to eat AND drink in Moore County! Very unique menu. Eat casual with creative burgers and pizza OR eat fine dining with crab cakes (best I’VE EVER had and I lived in MD) or steak on a stone-​700 degree stone on your table so you can slice a rare steak and cook to taste! Oh. And Kelly is the best bartender in town!

Found this place on Unilocal while looking for a new place to have breakfast. They said they don’t get much breakfast business, which is a shame. Had an omelet and tater tots. Both were served hot and were tasty. Had to order toast separately which I think should be included with an omelet. Friendly fast service and good atmosphere. I recommend and will come back.

Great food, friendly staff and fun atmosphere! What more could you ask for? Their gyro is literally the best I’ve ever had. Also love their Greek salad! My boys love the free cake for dessert! I highly recommend this place!
