Very charming restaurant. We had party for 15 people. The owner of the restaurant was very pleasant and changed some dishes on menu and add my favorite dessert: blintzes with chocolate on my request. The wait stuf was very pleasant and the Timeliness was just right. The appetizers and hot dishes was coming timely. Big star to the chef, my guests was very impressed with delightful dishes. The most important part: entertainment was GREAT. After all five stars.

Came here for a post wedding brunch a year ago and my nieces 21st bday last night. This is a Russian restaurant with a live singing band. The food is really good and it gets better depending on what menu you pre order. I enjoyed the service, the food and good atmosphere. Its also a byob and for Russians this means bottles of Vodka or tequila. Great place for a Russian person to have a birthday party.

I’ve been here a bunch of times. Some for parties, once for my own daughter’s birthday party and once for a wedding. Overall, I really like the food and the intimacy of the place. There is good variety. Presentation is very nice and everything is tasty. Once in a while you will get a salad that is a little too drenched in mayo(I call it — Russian style) but other than that no complaints. Service is lacking at times. Last time I was here we had a whole table full of kids who did not get their food for a while. It was hard to get still water at some point as well. Otherwise they do a decent job at serving and changing plates and platters. I wish they had a little better entertainment. I have seen some horrible singers here actually. Overall, I would recommend and would probably throw a party here myself.

My visit to Randevu was memorable, but it’s difficult to deduce if this memory is a positive one. I’ll start by saying it’s pretty. The interior is decorated in a very tasteful manner. The service is outstanding and you can tell the waiters are seasoned professionals. The music though… It was way too loud. I was there for a baby’s 1st birthday and I, along with several grandparents, were concerned for the children’s ear drums. I know that no one can hear your accent or lyrical mistakes when the volume is unnecessarily loud… But please spare my bleeding ears. Also, the food was meh. Now granted, I should blame the party hosts for getting a menu of weird food you don’t typically see at Russian style restaurants, but duck legs and ravioli? Just weird. I might come back to this place if I got to close the menu, for now I will stick to Emperator.

Pronounced«rendezvous»(I think the Turkish spelling is Randevu), this place is a typical Northeast Philly Russian restaurant. With banquet hall style seating, there is lots and lots and lots of food crammed into every crevice on the table. This ranges from smoked fish to pirashki(knishes) to kebabs to marinated mushrooms to roasted potatoes, etc etc. It’s a medium-sized venue, with a small stage. It’s worth checking out in the evening, because I’m curious about the entertainment.
