Excellent dead store. Great tye dyed shirts and clothes. Bought a baby tye dyed onesy. Large selection of Indian clothes too. Friendly saleswoman. Great location near Hearth n Kettle restaurant on 28 in South Yarmouth. They have children’s clothes and toys including hats and stickers. Store is jammed packed with merchandise. Lovely experience.

This place is a gem! I’ve been coming here for years, every time I’m on the cape! The store is full of great, unique finds and everything is very reasonably priced. The store is a little small and cramped but it’s worth it.

We were SOEXCITED we saw a sign that said«Grateful Dead/Rasta merchandise» as Providence has no stores like that these days! The owner Patty is really welcoming and will help you with anything you need! Loved that she was singing along to the music and chatting with us. The prices are right on — very fair, not crazy«tourist expensive» and they have a rewards card!!! Everything from clothes(there’s a fitting room too), jewelery, stickers, home goods — lots of old school hard to find GD logos/merch! I would give this store 10 stars if I could! Would make the trip back to the Cape just to shop here! One of the best parts of our vacation :)

Awesome store! Has great accessories including bracelets, necklaces, shirts, and an assortment of other cool things that aren’t a rip off. It’s NOT a hippie shop and has something for everybody. My favorites: Brimmed wool hats, survival bracelets, and shell necklace.

I first ran across The Dead Zone quite by accident. I was on a day trip down to the Cape and happened to notice it out of the corner of my eye. I immediately insisted we turn around and investigate further. The Dead Zone has little to do with psychic abilities but certainly would quality as «expanding your mind». Its a real one-of-a-kind shoppe that offers just a little bit of everything. They offer Grateful Dead merchandise(where they take their name, clever, huh?), as well as clothing, jewelry, incense, reggae music, hemp products, and other items one might not expect to find down on the Cape. They have since moved to a new location just down the road at the Hearth and Kettle Plaza, and although this store is a little bit smaller they manage to pack the store wall to wall, floor to ceiling. The Dead Zone is owned and operated by Patricia Martin and every time I have been there she has always been very pleasant and friendly. She always asks if you need any help, but isn’t pushy at all. On my most recent trip I bought two head bandanas which were priced 2 for $ 5, and then a third Grateful Dead bandana($ 5). I also picked up some incense which smells really great and burn pretty clean & smooth. I might only get down to the cape a couple times a year but whenever I do I always make sure to stop in and«free my mind».
