Quick af delivery. Delicious Pad Thai. Even better the next day. Only hang up is… no fresh rolls :(You still got a repeat customer, tho. Thank you!

As a current local in Weymouth there are only a few options to order Chinese. Asia palace, gourmet oriental, quan’s and I think that’s about it. I like the prices of asia palace specifically the tidbit combo and the pu pu platter. Before ordering from any restaurant you need to know the specifics of each meal. The crab rangoons are big but stuffed too heavily with cream cheese. In a tidbit there are boneless spareribs, in a pu pu platter there is one sparerib with the bone in it and there is no eggroll, it’s a spring roll. Asia palace skimps in my opinion on the portion of pork fried rice in a tidbit, boneless spare ribs are too thinly sliced, and the crab rangoons have too much cream cheese. Not sure if I will return as the pu pu platter is suspect.

Came for Saturday night karaōke. DJ Kevin was fun, its a low pressure place to get up, sing and have fun with friends.

The Food is Consistently«Average Plus» but… Wait staff varies from somewhat experienced to «started 10 minutes ago». The food on the buffet(only on weekends), is very fresh because it’s necessary to keep reminding them that items need to be replenished. We live close by and consider Asia Palace as a «chew and screw»(eat and get out) place. It’s not fine Chinese dining, …but the food is pretty decent. The bar on the other side of the restaurant is usually quite busy, and can be noisy but it’s far enough away that it is not really intrusive. My guess is that without the bar business they may not be able to survive. The restaurant side seldom has more than a few patrons.

Worst buffet I’ve ever had in my life. Not much to choose from and everything was gross. The service was decent. Too expensive for what was offered, $ 30 for two people. Do yourself and your taste buds a favor and steer clear of this place.

This evening, I used GrubHub to order delivery from Asia Place. They give you the option to pay via PayPal. I did so and opted to provide my tip there(15% which came to about $ 4.00 on top of their delivery fee) as they had a section dedicated to it and I didn’t have any small bills on hand. The food was delivered within the time frame provided which is probably my only positive of the entire experience. An unnecessarily grumpy woman delivered our food and upon me thanking her and try to shut the door she had the audacity to say, «You know I work on tips, right?» Um. Excuse me. I already left you a 15% tip on top of a $ 2 delivery fee. The receipt that you claimed was in my bag of food easily could have easily told you that. Already reaming over that moment, I opened the food to discover my chicken was soggy and appeared it was served from a generic mall Chinese food stand(and had zero flavor despite being labeled as «spicy») and the crab rangoons were under-cooked and small. My boyfriend’s lo mein and chicken wings were fine but nothing to write home about. For a place with less than great food, I would think they would make an attempt to make up for it with customer service but they failed miserably. We will never be ordering from them again.

My boyfriend and I were not impressed by this place at all. We walked in and the atmosphere was horrible. The buffet was tiny and the restaurant just felt dirty. The people who work there are nice but that’s the only good thing about this place. The food was disgusting. I did not like a single thing that was there. The price was not worth it either. We paid around $ 30 and that’s not including a tip for the server. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all and I don’t plan on going back at all.

Asia Palace is a local, suburban, no-fuss Chinese restaurant. If you adjust your expectations accordingly, you’ll like it here. I came here with my husband, eager to find an Asian restaurant standby in our new ‘hood of Weymouth. We had been moving all day and had the kind of hunger that only hot, greasy Chinese food can remedy. Asia Palace was the obvious choice, right off Route 18 in the same plaza as Starbucks and Whole Foods, where I suspect we’ll be spending a lot of time. We arrived not at all dressed up and even looking nice(at least not me) but no matter — this place is very casual. As it was Friday night, the bar was packed — this is quite the hot spot for middle-aged townies. Apparently they have karaōke Thurs/Fri/Sat night, as well as Keno, and CHEAP drinks(and half priced apps during Pats games). In the dining area there were plenty of tables and we sat down right away. Our food came quickly and we devoured it almost as quickly. We ordered vegetable lo mein and sesame chicken. If we hadn’t just spent all day moving, we probably would have been fine with the portion size, but on this occasion we practically licked the plates clean. Maybe we’ll order an app next time. The food was exactly what you would expect — nothing more, but fortunately nothing less. After dinner the waitress brought us pineapples, jello cubes, and fortune cookies, which was a throwback for me to the Chinese restaurant in my hometown. This place is NOT gourmet or fancy, but it fills a niche. When you’re there, its kind of just weird and fun. My guess is most of our future orders will be takeout or delivery, but another dine-in experience is not out of the question.

I’ve been to Asia Palace many times, because it’s close to home. I’ve never been super impressed with their food… most of the time it’s okay. Today, it’s pretty terrible. The lo-mein is greasy, the kung-pow chicken is somehow completely flavorless, and the chicken fingers… just don’t taste right. I’m very disappointed, because it was a little pricey and I was looking forward to my dinner. I probably won’t order from here ever again. Two stars are for the sushi, which has always been good, and the karaōke nights, which can be fun.

Horrible on all counts, sad since it once was good when Sara ran it. Now the buffet is tired and barely has any food on it. The last time I went, I had to ask for a little more to be put in the warming trays. At that time, the hostess was pregnant and picking off the buffet as she walked by. Gross and a violation I am sure. I have taken my business to Gourmet Garden in Hingham, where the food is superb and service great.

It’s a standard chinese restaurant and the food is reasonably priced for the quality and quantity that you get. We usually order to take-out and they do delivery too and the food is good. Never been at the kareoke so far. They have a good variety of dishes and they added a japanase menu too.

Asia Palace is in a convenient location, is clean and the waitstaff are very kind. Unfortunately, the food isn’t that great(and a little pricey for what you’re actually getting). My family and I got the buffet(it’s very, very small) and was disappointed to see there was only a little of many of the dishes – keep in mind there were very few people in the restaurant so it’s not like they were too busy to keep refilling the plates. The food(particularly the green beans, rice and sweet and sour chicken) was all a little room temperature; not cold per say but definitely not hot. Perhaps it had been sitting out for too long? The bread was a little stale as well. I will give credit where credit is due though, and the sesame chicken and chicken wings were very good. Perhaps it might be better to order from the menu and not get the buffet? Overall, it was greatly disappointing and too expensive for what you’re actually getting. My family and I will not be returning.

Haven’t eaten here in awhile, but the last time I was here, I felt that the drinks were overpriced. Some of the bartenders are rude too, my friend got cussed out by a bartender when he ordered a Tiki type drink that is on the drink menu. No thanks.

I went here on a Friday night with about 25+ people. We were on the bar side. We made reservations weeks in advance. Most of the people got the buffet. I went over to the buffet and it didn’t appeal to me at all. I ended up ordering from the menu. Which wasn’t much better either. What was really annoying was after giving this restaurant more than enough time of how many people were coming they had ONE waitress for 25+ people! It was absolutely insane! You’d think with that many people coming you would put more people on. We were there for Karaōke night! Not good planning at all…

In my opinion, typical Chinese food restaurants can rarely go beyond a 3-Star rating. As long as their food tastes and looks fresh then I’m happy. When I ordered take-out from Asia Palace I was grateful that my food wasn’t blackened by old frying oils. Other than that, Asia Palace meets par.
