I followed Nellie to her new location… Nellie is the longest I’ve stuck with a hairstylist… she’s been cutting my hair for over 2 years, and each time I’ve been happy with the results! I’ve even brought both my sisters and my mom to her… she is really friendly and reasonably priced… the new location is an upgrade from the last, also…

I’ve been getting my hair cut, styled, and colored by Lorna for almost 15 years now, and I plan to continue going here for as long as I can! I am always satisfied with my hair! It is cut and styled perfectly each time. Lorna cuts it in a way in which it will still look gorgeous even when it grows out. She is also a great colorist; the color lasts very long and Lorna makes sure that the color frames your face perfectly. I got a balayage ombré more than 6 months ago and it still looks great, even grown out! Even as a long time talented beautician, Lorna is continually working on perfecting her craft and makes sure she is up to date and well-versed on the latest trends. She is very talented and a delight to work with! Throughout the 15 years, I’ve decided to be adventurous out of either will or convenience(because I lived out of the area for a few years) and get my hair cut, styled, and colored at a number of other salons that have had great reviews as well. But none of them have done my hair as well as Lorna! Each time, I regretted not waiting until I got back to town to have her work her magic on my hair. I’ve decided to be less adventurous ever since! LSI has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, and Lorna is the sweetest and most talented artist who always has a bright and uplifting smile. I give LSI my highest recommendation! You will be satisfied with the customer service and you will walk out with fabulous hair!

I’ve known Lorna for about 5 years through my mom, who is a regular client of hers. As far as I can tell, my mom never has a bad hair day and I honestly believe it’s because of Lorna. She’s cut my hair once before but for some reason or another, I always believed it was strange to have the same hairstylist as your mom… that’s why I rarely went to Lorna’s. When I started paying for my own haircuts, I noticed my bank account shriveling. At Regis or other salons in SF, I pay at least $ 45 – 50 for a haircut, plus tip. I then remembered Lorna and asked my mom how much she usually pays. $ 38 is significantly cheaper and more reasonable so I decided to pay Lorna a visit a couple months ago. Her fairly new salon is nothing short of bourgeois, but I do like the homey feel of it. Essentially, you’re not paying to sit in luxury but to get a great haircut! And that’s what I got. My bangs never looked better. AND I got the Jennifer Anniston layers I was looking for! So if you’re ever in a financial rut and want a great haircut, go to Lorna’s! She can do everything. And for an extra treat, go during Christmas time because she decorates the most gorgeous Christmas trees and wreaths I’ve ever seen(and I’ve seen a lot!)
