La Hacienda Market

Love this market. Has everything you need to cook for latin cuisine. Great customer service from the butcher area to the cashier. They also have fresh mexican bread daily and a small bakery section where you can have cakes ordered. The produce is stocked well and fresh. Everything here is stalked well and clean inside.

Jamas volvere a comprar carne en esa tienda. El sabado 20 de septiembre compre 10 libras de carne para asar y compre 8 libras d chorizo. Y para cuando saque el chorizo de la bolsa para ponerlo en el asador. Estaba con muchos gusanitos eso es señal k los productos k vende esta tienda no son frescos y estan en mal estado. X mi parte nunca volvere a comprar en la hacienda market.

I live a few blocks away from this market. The market is clean, very well stocked, and the prices are very reasonable.
The butchers are less desirable to deal with… To clarify; the meats at this market look fantastic! However one butcher who is very short, is a dishonest and rude person. When I asked for a chicken, the butcher grabbed a weighed a hole chicken with its head and feet still intact to its body. Then he placed a price sticker on the chicken. When I told the butcher that I did not want the head and feet attached to this chicken, the butcher cut the head and feet off. But he did not reweigh the chicken now that the head and feet have been removed. When I asked the short dishonest butcher if he would please reweigh the chicken and change the price because there was less weight now that the chicken’s head and feet have been removed. He told me no, take it or leave it.
I am thinking that California weights and measures take small matters like this fairly seriously.
