Great selection of dim sum and reasonable prices. I love their mushroom with abalone sauce over noodles, steamed pork ribs with black bean sauce, stuffed eggplant, and turnip cake. It’s crowded here and not the cleanest, but it’s authentic Chinese food with efficient service.

Affordable dim sum in the San Bruno area. They have the staple siu Mai and shrimp dumplings available as well as other delicacies. This place gets crowded on weekends during the lunch rush so you need to arrive early or wait a bit to get a table. They do not have a tea charge which is nice. Most dim sum places charge about $ 1 – 2 per person, so this place is better for those who just want to eat and socialize. They have a personalize parking lot which is nice since the area around doesn’t have much parking. The location is a little bit off the beaten path but I would say it is worth it if you want some dimsum and don’t want to spend too much

They’re dim sum is fresh, hot and delicious! All the fried stuff was piping hot, tasted fresh, not refried. Dim sum was bomb. The rice rolls were soft and thin! It’s located around the industrial area in SSF and the place is a bit outdated. But the place was clean. Finally found a place that close and local to call our«go to» place for dim sum. Its better than all the other dim sum places, i.e.: koi, Asian pearl, HK flower,!and tai wu… We went on a Saturday at 11:20 am, 30 mins wait for 4. They are busy but the wait is average compared to the other places I named above.

Hung To has the potential to be great… I’ve frequent the restaurant on a handful of occasions now, and it’s always been just OK, if anything, mediocre. Parking lot is very convenient, which is one of the reasons why I come here. Do expect a wait if you aren’t here super early, but they do a pretty good job at cycling people in and out. In my latest visit, expect to not see any variety of food being pushed out by their cart staff — they were adamant on selling whatever they had. The major key in getting dishes is by flagging down one of the staff and asking for specific dishes. You’ll pretty much be stuck with whatever they have in their food rotation unless you speak up. Unfortunately but the time I figured this out, we were already full. I’ll definitely come back again, but don’t expect amazing high quality food. You pay for what you get! I always leave Hung To with a my pockets feeling heavy!

We came here on a whim after a slow New Years Day morning. Even though I work in SSF, I have never heard of this place, but apparently everyone else has! We arrived and were hesitant when we saw the massive crowds and the packed parking lot. On the positive side, apparently we had discovered a pretty good dim sum place. On the negative side, everyone had the same idea. After making our way to the front desk, we were given an estimation of 30 – 45 minutes for two people. Thank goodness we bought coffee while we were en route. We ended up waiting over an hour to get seated. Starving and craving dim sum, we may have overeaten a bit — hey now, don’t judge :) — but here is what we ordered: Baked BBQ Pork Buns — unimpressed. The bun itself was soft, but there was hardly any filling inside Pork Siu Mai — solid. Probably one of the better dishes we ordered Deep Fried Sesame Ball — love these regardless. These were fresh out of the fryer and I may have burned the inside of my mouth on these bad boys. Har Gow — disappointing. I love these, but the dumpling was too sticky and they all stuck together, making me tear them apart just to grab one. Pan Fried Yellow Chive Dumpling — pretty good, but not a standout. Stuffed Crab Claws with Minced Shrimp — so good. Deep fried seafood and not too greasy. Can it get any better? BBQ Pork — a bit greasy and fatty for my taste. Spicy XO Noodles — a tasty take on my favorite noodles. The noodles were rolled up and it had the perfect amount of spice Would I come back? Possibly. It’s a solid dim sum option and not too pricey. Our total was about $ 38 for all the food we ordered and we were stuffed(plus, a couple of to-go containers). Even though this place had a massive wait time, there’s a reason. They don’t have the classic dim sum carts, but they still have the waiters walking around with trays of dim sum. Love it.

This has been our go-to dim sum place whenever we’re here in San Francisco. They serve pork blood(which is delicious and my favorite), steamed sesame bun, and pineapple bun(some call it Hong Kong bun). If you’re an adventurous type in terms of food, then venture down here! Authentic Chinese food!

Really good chinese food, especially for not being a restaurant in SSF. Can compete with some good restaurants in San Francisco. Will definately order from there again!

I’m giving this place 3.5 star base on banquet experience only. Have been to wedding and funeral here. The veg is fresh and everything came out OK based on the $ and the food that you get. Its always kind of saucy.

Great bang for your buck dim sum! This place sits in the industrial side in south city but has been a staple for years. Good har gow, Sui mai, chow fun, and my son’s crab claw dumpling!

Solid dim sum spot, long lines on the weekend but they turn and burn the tables very quickly, when we sat down immediately was bombarded with all of the typical yummy stuff so quickly loaded up but even after a while the servers kept coming by with more new stuff, I was impressed how good the service and food was, all in all a very satsfying lunch for the three of us. good job I’ll be back…

On here on a regular, For dim sum I do like this place better then one on grand with the green awning. The go to plates for me are as follows Bbq pork — semi warm, savory sweet, tender, sometimes more fat then meat other times more meat the fat Shu mai pork and shrimp — piping hot fresh made, one of the primary dishes I always order Shu mai chicken — piping hot different taste from the pork version, I still recommend the pork version Beef tripe — steaming hot ginger flavored tripe, for most folks that don’t like chewy stomach inner linings texture stay away, something you grow up with haha xiao ling bao — steamed dumpling with juice — dont break the dumpling or the juice will ooze out which is the best part meatball — heavy, flavorful, for me it was good, just rather have more dim sum dishes steamed chinese broccoli — not waxy, piping hot, helpful portion for at least 3 people bean curd fried — deep fried version of the regular which is steamed, paired with LP sauce(Worcestershire sauce), crunchy outside layer and crunchy inside layer I don’t what is in this but it is delicious bean curd steamed — when piping hot not slimy, steamed version for me is much better then the fried, more flavor the items in this roll pop and crunch on any bite pork bun — relatively I don’t order this much, just takes away from ordering everything else they offer, piping hot decent serving of meat in the middle, best served fresh steamed pork ribs — steamed, enough bits with bone in pork, some are soft bones you can consume the whole thing, this spot serves more meat then bone then several other places crab balls — not a fan, served hot, with super sweet sugar sauce, I would not order again but of course if you love crab please try their interpretation chicken feet — if you like tendon texture and don’t mind eating around the bones, this is one dish you can enjoy, taste wise, it would be like eating chicken skin, squishy and delicious As you can see from my list I have tried a variety of things from there menu, my goto’s are the shumai pork, steamed pork, bean curd steamed, and tripe Always consistent in taste and quality, recommend this place for the dim sum during lunch hours food **** price $ service *** if you know what you want stop one of the workers and order, if not wait for the several dishes to come by ambiance ***

Our favorite place for weekend dimsum — yummy & good value. But we’ve been here twice for dinner now and it’s just OK. To be honest I’m not a big fan of Cantonese food(other than dimsum), and the food here seems particularly gloopy and oversalted. But we’ll definitely be back for the dimsum.

Service is fast, and food is good. What more can a girl ask for? They’ve got a wide variety of dim sum here and they definitely don’t skip on portions. Dumplings are big and reasonably priced. If you don’t see the item you want walking around, just ask any of the workers and they’ll ring ya up an order. They deliver on eat24 but only entrees, no dim sum. The prices are pretty expensive but if the dim sum is good, their entrees just might be worth trying!

Public service announcement! I just left the restaurant and my husband was in the bathroom with an elderly worker(he wore an apron, meaning he works in the kitchen) and the restaurant employee used the bathroom and DIDNOTWASHHISHANDS after using the restroom! My hubby was shocked. We told the front desk(lady, always works at the front) and she didn’t seem to really care and just said, «okay, okay, okay.» Yuck!!! Restaurants like this give Chinese restaurants a terrible name. Zero stars for cleanliness and health, but 2 stars because their dim sum does the job. Good thing we all have resilient stomachs.

A must go dim sum restaurant. My family stops by this restaurant every single time we’re in SF. The waitresses aren’t the nicest, but that didn’t really bother me. I know some people don’t like how they go around with food and you pick what you want, but I actually love that. I like how I can see for myself what the food looks like and then choose. I think it also gives me an opportunity to try some things that I would have never tried if I didn’t see it for myself. Also, the price is reasonable and affordable. Recommendations: Chinese broccoli and stuffed shrimp in fried tofu(?) — i cant remember the name of it.

My favorite dim sum restaurant in all of the Bay Area. I’ve been coming here with my parents since I was a kid, so this I have a soft spot for this place. But, having tried a lot of other dim sum spots, and several in Chinatown SF, I can say Hung To is my go-to for shrimp dumpling, bbq pork buns, shui mai, egg tarts, and many other dishes. It is busy on the weekends, so try to come early, otherwise you’ll wait awhile and miss out on egg tarts by closing hour(sad, I know). Service is for the most part good and parking can be a hassle, so again, the earlier the better! If you’re in the area, definitely give this place a try. I’ve never had a horrible experience in all my years coming here(well, except for missing out on egg tarts).

My fiancé and I love this spot! Even when there’s a wait, it’s not too bad. My favorite thing? The fried shrimp balls. Affordable and efficient, too. Don’t let the exterior fool you, it’s decent inside.

One of the cleaner dim sum places I’ve ever been to. On most visits, the food has always been good. I love how the food comes hot to the table; not warm and stale. Also, the price isn’t too bad! Service can be a hit or miss but now that we frequent this place often… the waitresses remember us & somewhat more courteous & caring. Try the chicken feet, steamed pork spareribs, the har gow, & pork shumai!
