House of Color

Great customer service, knowledgable and friendly staff. I had to select stain for interior doors and matching was difficult. Michael was very helpful and gave me practical advice. The stain was a beautiful match! This store is head and shoulders above the other shop that I went to. I will certainly come back if I need paint or stain in the future.

Repainting the interior of my bathrooms. Came in with some small color samples that I sort of liked and asked for guidance from the staff. Were very helpful, showed me a bunch of colors and walked me through why a particular gray would be more blue when I put it on the wall. Walked out with 3 samples to try and very satisfies.
Nothing bad to say. Overall great experience.

Our house came with a dozen paint cans in the garage and all were labeled House of Color. We were in desperate need of a refresh for our main living spaces. We checked Unilocal reviews for some other paint stores and decided to check out House of Color’s reviews– all fantastic. We headed over there this morning. The guys were super knowledgeable and helpful. They had all the records of the paint cans we brought in, mixed the same formula for a few new cans and were lovely to deal with in the process.
They helped us pick brushes that would be the best value (and wouldn’t leave brush hairs on the wall-​yuck).
The very best part– as I loaded my son in the car, one of the really great guys followed behind me to load my car without my asking or anything. I was thrilled– we will absolutely be back!

I can only highly recommend House of Color. Their service is impeccable. I have tried many different paint stores on the Peninsula who never really seemed to care. With House of Color I had definitely by far the best experience. They are incredibly nice to deal with, extremely knowledgeable and responsive. If they promise something, you can count on it. Wonderful store!

I am a General Contractor and I use vendors that will give me prompt and more importantly accurate service. One mistake can cost me literally thousands. Mike and Ricky know their products for all types of applications that have saved me from job problems, kept my projects moving and more importantly have kept my customers happy. I am so excited to be moving out and what makes it even more thrilling is the fact that I have a fabulous flat waiting to be moved into. The first priority before moving in though is paint! Choosing the right paint color can be so difficult, I’ve browsed through magazines, online interior design sites, books and everything looks so good. Being so indecisive I wanted to be able to test out different colors and a coworker suggested House of Color and man was she right!
They have a whole section of Benjamin Moore paint strips and small 2oz. sample size containers of paint that you can take home to try. Awesome! You can choose a color and find it in a sample size for $ 3.99, or if they don’t have it in the sample containers you can get a 16oz sample for $ 4.99. They had a wide selection of colors, and a bunch of paint supplies.
If you’re as picky as I am come here before you make an final color decisions. Another plus side of all the samples is that you can use all the little left over colors to paint smaller objects or decorative pieces.
