Fusion Jerky

I bought a pack of this on a whim at Cost Plus World Market. I got the garlic jalapeño one. I loved it. It reminded me of the jerky I get in Taiwan. It had the perfect amount of sweetness and spiciness. Sometimes jerky is way too tough. This jerky had excellent texture. I’d love to try all the other flavors but I’m not sure where to get them.

I like jerky and have been on a turkey jerky kick for a few months. Nothing spectaular but satisfying the craving. Then, Fusion Jerky enters my world! I tried the basil citrus chicken jerky and it was delish. I found it at a discount department store while standing in the check out line of all places! I’m going back for more and would like to try some of their other fusion flavors. Nice.

Our family tried the many flavors of Fusion Jerky, our personal fav was the island teriyaki! We loved that the jerky was not salty like most jerkys out there! Sweet but not too much, also it wasn’t your typical teriyaki flavor you find in the other jerkys that taste like lots of soy sauce and msg. but Wowza if you are looking for a spicy kick you’re gonna love the chipotle lime. It has a great first taste of lime and then a numbing spiciness that brings tears to your eyes! yummy! I really liked the texture of the shredded beef compared to the pork’s chewiness. (my tongue is still numb at the end of this review!)
We also checked on the lemon pepper chicken jerky. I liked it because it was chicken which you can’t find in a lot of brands. Our nephews only eat chicken and fish so this was great for him away at college where he doesn’t have a kitchen, needs his protein on a midnight cram and (Again) all natural and not salty. A healthy treat for him and my kids.
My husband enjoyed the turkey rosemary citrus– a little tanginess with lots of seasoning. I’m not a rosemary kind of gal so I’ll definitely hoard the island teriyaki!

I tried the basil citrus chicken jerky. Absolutely the best jerky I’ve ever had, and I’m a jerky nut. A definite must try. You can taste the freshness! Already wanting more!
