My girlfriend and I come here pretty often due to coupons and the discount menu. This particular Denny’s is definitely a step above most of the other locations in the area. The staff is polite and friendly enough. The food is surprisingly well cooked, at least on the weekends.(weekdays seem a little hit or miss) They also recently remodeled, so the interior is in good shape. On a recent stop by they mixed up my girlfriends order, but were very quick to address the issue and even gave her a free dessert item for the trouble. Not what you’d expect from a place like this, but I think that kinda sums it up. Better than you’d expect.

I went up there like 2 weeks ago, it was really busy that day, I waited to be seated for like 10 minutes and there were other costumers that showed up after us and got seats b4 us, I was with my 1 years old, they didn’t even say hi or welco, e, to dennys so we ended up leaving, they are rude. I never going back there

Want to give them more stars but I have nothing to judge with but there much better than IHOP. Three stars one for food, one for service and one for value. Service The service was quick, but nothing to brag about. we were seated and served right away, we were not rushed, ignored or kicked out. Food The food was excellent. We were informed of preparation choices and food was made to our liking. Value From the menu items, to the employees to the way they treat the customers. This places values its employees and its customers and this is how it earns its fourth star. Sorry can’t give you that fifth star. At least not yet. I have nothing in the area other than that horrible IHOP to compare you to, and was shown nothing super special, nor treated like loyalty.

Horrible service and very lazy staff called 5 times to put a phone order in no one answered the phone. I was in hotel next door to Denny’s walked over and realized there where only five people dining in and no rush pretty empty as the lazy staff just sat around doing nothing. I decided to call and place my order to see if anyone would pick up the phone once again no one picked up the phone but this time as the phone rang I witnessed a lazy Latino male and woman stand over the phone flirting with one another totally disregarding my phone call as it rang over 6 rings. If I could give this place a zero I gladly would. Service very unlike a Dennys. Horrible just horrible

We ordered take out. My husband brought the food back to hotel. He ended up having to go back for utensils and condiments. He did mention that they were busy. Food was great!

Denny’s has lost their connection with the customers. There is no more smiles and proper greeting. I feel guilty being a buried on my server by asking for more coffee, as she skip my table… due to the lack of her absent; after the host had to take my order. Other servers walk by with their heads down, avoiding additional questions that might required them to do their job. I had the worst Hispanic female server. And as I type this review, I had waited 10 minutes for my check and my plates hasn’t been cleared off. Only reason for 3 star because the server Luis apologize and was friendly to me. He got a tip. Thank God I am going grocery shopping tomorrow.

Do not go here! Nasty food and bad service. So I went on a Sunday morning and the table smelled bad already and the utensils and cups where not CLEAN! We asked the server to give us utensils and they gave us more dirty ones. The glass cups smelled like nasty eggs and you can see the lips, finger prints on it. So I told the manager and he did not wanted to give us a discount because it was not there fault?! But eventually I got 1 $ off wow! Please do not eat here. Oh and the toilets where plugged up and there’s roaches.

2 stars mainly on service and partly on their food. Honestly you can’t expect much from a denny’s. At least in my experiences, SOFAR. Food is a hit or miss, mediocre, sometimes not fully cooked, sometimes it is. But a good portion of my decision on 2 stars is because of the service. We got seated right away. But our food took about almost 30 minutes to get to us. The waitress was nice, but could have been more attentive and assertive. So i’d say, putting more effort into the food and having a more assertive staff that caters to the customer’s needs is what this denny’s needs.

Came in and were seated around 9:30am. It wasnt busy at all. It took the waitress 10 minutes just to visit our table to get our drink order. She looked mad. Never smiled or anything. Then she brought our drinks and took our food order. Our food came out shortly. The problem? It was COLD! How does food get cold when it didn’t even get a chance to sit?! Nothing was even remotely warm. It all tasted like it was microwaved. The bacon was rubbery instead of crispy. The sausage was rubbery. The hash browns tasted stale. The eggs were rubbery also. The muffin didn’t taste fresh either. I ate because I was seriously starving. Barely saw the waitress after we got our food. Then it took us forever just to get the check. NEVER coming here again!

This place is pretty decent for a Denny’s. The food is okay and the staff is good. It’s one of the Denny’s that I prefer over the others. It’s always a hit or miss with this restaurant for me but so far it’s been hits. lol Pretty big. Generally clean. Bathrooms are decently clean too. Parking is pretty easy to find and it’s close to the airport which is really helpful. And close to Costco and See’s Candies. Hahaha.

ROACHALERT… ROACHALERT… While dining there twice roaches came walking icross the wooden panels above our table. I left the first time and came back months later. Management was not alarmed they stated oh the exterminators are coming at midnight tonight! We keep having to call them. BURGARLYALERT… Also keep no valuable inside your vehicles while you eat. Vehicle’s have been broken into while patrons were dining only to come out and find their windows busted and valuable items taken. This was the Douth San Francisco Airport Blvd. location.

I’m usually a fan of Denny’s but the only thing saving this review from a one star is that the flavor of the food itself. I myself am a worker in the food industry as a server and try to be as understanding and patient as possible, but this to-go trip to Denny’s was ridiculous. My go to meal is simple order of chicken tenders with honey mustard dipping sauce and seasoned fries. My experience was painful from the get-go; I called in and placed a order for pick up, the woman who answered was friendly but it was almost impossible to understand with her accent. After about 3 minutes of repeating my order to her she read it back correctly, she asked for my name and phone number then immediately hung up the phone after I gave her my information. She did not give me a approximate time until my order would be ready or what my total would be for the meal. I arrived at the Denny’s and stood at the counter for a couple minutes before an employee came over to greet me. I told them I was there for a pick up, and seeing one to-go bag on their counter I thought the rest of my transaction would be simple. Boy was I wrong. A male employee grabbed the one to-go bag they had ready for pick up and handed it to me. He proceeded to read me an order that was incorrect. When I told him I had a order of chicken tenders and not«blueberry pancakes» he looked at me like it was my fault the order was wrong and took the bag back. Another worker proceeded to tell me my order was«lost», but no one seemed too apologetic or even concerned. After 10 minutes of standing around waiting for the situation to be resolved someone finally had the common sense to open the original to-go order that was handed to me and sure enough it was my food. By now the soggy fries and chicken had been sitting in the styrofoam container for a good 35 minutes, but I was too hungry and tired to make anything more out of the whole situation. If I had gotten a simple apology, or even the slightest sense that they felt bad for messing up a simple to-go order I wouldn’t have written this review. But if I can give even a single person a heads up about what they might be walking into when they choose to dine at this establishment, then my work here is done.

Restaurant food/drinks was good except they need to give people some time order our meals/drinks my mom and I got seated right away man asked, what drinks we wanted told them we just got here not knowing what wanted to order waiter insist we order drinks we told waiter please wait come back later. On the Unilocal page saying level of sound is average, personally is loud because today eating here saw all different kinds of people there were mainly big families bring their young kids around thus screaming babies who can’t behave themselves in public, on top of that loud mouth people with their family their are quiet people too but compare what’s happening putting together the noise is loud isn’t average.

The great manager Gerson is no longer there, the staff is so slow and haven’t got a clue. My chicken salad arrived in a glass dish that almost burned my hand, hot dish, cold salad ?? What are the thinking, plus the service is so horrid. I called the manager and handed him the hot dish, asked him what are they thinking. I believed they dumped the salad into a cooler dish. My friend’s hamburger had green lettuce(limp) and had to remove it, cold french fries. We sat for at least 10 minutes waiting for our bill, I finally got up and asked for it. This will not ever be our eating place again. Done !

Slow service ever! We had to seat ourselves. I don’t understand as they have a lot of staff but I figured that the receptionist(Nick) can’t take orders unless to go — he will usher you to a table when he’s done on the phone. There is another lady who sweeps and mops the floor but can’t take orders. There were only about 3 order takers who seem to be busy with their customers and something else. Food was ok but took sooo long!

Every time I’ve been to a Denny’s I haven’t had a problem with their service. Their food is decent, you can’t expect much from a place like this. This isn’t a steakhouse. However, I called in to make an order for pickup tonight and nobody answers. Gave it a few more minutes and called again. Still, nobody answered. I called about 8 times throughout 45 minutes and nobody answers! It’s 10pm on a Sunday night. How busy can you possibly be at this time for nobody to answer any of my calls? Won’t be calling in to place any order from here anymore. I’ll go to ihop down the street instead, the food is better anyways.
