My husband and I love to support local small businesses. On our usual weekend walks through downtown SSF, we saw this cute little coffee shop. We walked by a few times and finally decided to go in. We were pleasantly surprised how much was on their menu. The staff was very friendly, the coffee was good and so were their pastries. We really enjoy their breakfast burritos too. We will definitely continue to come back as regulars.

I have been going to this coffee shop for about 1 year now. The coffee is excellent! The food is delicious, and top quality! I visit at least once a week it’s so good. What I wasn’t aware of is they can do lunches for business purposes. We ordered 85 sandwiches for employee appreciation and they were AMAZING! They stayed true to their level of quality, and included potato salad and fruit salad to round out the meal at a very reasonable price. I HIGHLY recommend them! They are so worth checking out! Plus, Victor, the owner ROCKS! Very willing to accommodate customers. Customer service like this is rare these days, but if you’re looking for it you’ll find it at Antigua!

One of the few independent coffee shops in South City. Great coffee, great space, very quiet and professional. Lot of City Hall workers come here. I love supporting this shop. My perpetual order: Caramel latte

I ordered an American breakfast plate. The price is acceptable but the food quality is inversely. The potato was burning, and the eggs were over cook!

Nice friendly local shop. After dropping someone off at SFO, and waiting for other friends to arrive at SFO, i found this place on Unilocal.Had a breakfast burrito which was very good quality. The Mexican Mocha was excellent as was an ice tea that I ordered an hour later. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. I will come back here when I am in the area. If you want a local coffee shop/restaurant, I highly recommend Antigua.

…Still my first stop of the day on weekends. Still number one in service and quality. I’ve been here maybe 30 times now. Worth it.

So glad I found this place on Unilocal because this is going to be our family’s new pre/post mornings at SFO coffee spot! So. SF has changed a lot over the years and now the main street has some really nice spots to stop in. This is about 10 min from SFO and parking was a little hard to find on a Saturday at 9am, but nothing crazy. The joint has a latin feel, but nothing overwhelming. There’s light latin music playing in the background, some photos on the wall, and thats it. I ordered a jalepeno bagel(that actually had a nice spice kick!) with avocado and cream cheese. Parents split the veggie bagel with a buncha veggies and it was really good and filling. I got the green tea latte w/almond milk and it hit the spot! Special milk is only 35 cents extra which is dopee… most places these days charge 75 cents like BYE. I thought the house coffee was good, but nothing amazing enough for me to buy beans or anything. Friendly staff. Also their bathrooms are soo nice and clean. Like linen towels, painted, potpurri, etc!

I know, I am soooo easy, but I really had a great experience at this place. The coffee was dark and rich which is important because I drink it black and I can’t stand wimpy java. Fried plantains with my chorizo & eggs, beans, fresh cheese and warm tortillas for under 10 bucks?! I couldn’t believe it. I bought my friend lunch, left a nice tip at the register and felt like a roly poly big shot the whole day. People were nice, the plate looked pretty and the place was clean,. I will be back.

Cute! Very nice café style with a hint of Mexican breakfast and lunch menu selection. I came for coffee… walked past Peets Coffee & Starbucks based on the reviews of this roomy coffee house. The coffee is strong and delicious. I did not eat here, however, the food looks yummy and I noticed everyone cleaned their breakfast plates. Huge array of breakfast breads/cakes/muffins displayed on the counter to tempt you. House coffee as well as barista hot beverages and cold drinks as well as beer and wine too! Worth the extra block or two up Grand Ave.

Been here a couple of times, afternoon, after dinner and for breakfast. We like it because there’s usually parking and coffee is strong just how it should be. I also like their loose leaf tea. Their breakfast were also good and satisfying. I’d definitely hang out here and enjoy their drinks.

Food is good, large selection. But the prices are ridiculous. I just paid $ 8 for a plain bagel with eggs, bacon and avocado. What the hell? At any bagel spot I’d pay MAYBE $ 5 for that. Ordered two bagels, different toppings the other day and they made the order incorrect. How do you get a bagel with eggs, cheese and bacon wrong? I don’t get it. Others complain about their orders being wrong too. Banana bread has been dry both times I’ve tried it. But their yogurt parfaits are good. Decent place but don’t know if I would come back often.

Update on this place: Coffee: Still amazing. Atmosphere: still friendly and clean. But I am still stuck on their food service. I am VERY careful to order very clearly on what I want, and how I want it. But I don’t think I have left here ONCE with the correct order, or a consistent match to what I had before. I have paid for avocado at least three times without ever actually getting it on my Lox Bagel. The last time I went, they actually forgot the LOX — on a LOX bagel.(But at least this time the bagel wasn’t stale) I want to love this place SOBAD. But they really need to step up their food game… they are the only place I know of in the area that does what I like: Breakfast burritos and Lox bagels… but they never get it right :( But Ill be back. I have faith. And I LOVE their coffee!

This is my favorite coffee shop and I haven’t even had time to sit down when I’ve come here! Amazing selection of hot/cold drinks, breakfast, pastries and food! Every time I am in South City I MUST stop here at least to pick up my 2 favorites: Matcha green tea latte and the big oat bar. I love all their oatmeal goodies! The decorative touch to Antigua is my favorite. If you love their coffee like I do, they also sell coffee beans :) They have Happy Hour from 4 to 7pm where you can order food and drinks. I love their bar area and that they have beers on tap. This coffee shop has it all on top of being big and spacious. As I said before, I can’t pass through South City without stopping here. Seems like an ideal place to study on your laptop. If only it was closer to home!

We grabbed some coffee en route to dim sum for a little caffeine pick-me-up. Walking in, this place was poppin’. Apparently a large group had 3 – 4 large tables and were having a New Years Day party. We were about to order our drinks when they gave us an estimated time of 20 minutes for our drinks! I don’t think I’ve ever waited that long even at a packed Starbucks. In a hurry, we opted for drip coffee. They tried to lower our wait time to 15 minutes. Then 10 minutes. However, 10 minutes was still too long for our taste — we were hungry! With drip coffees in hand, we were on our way. The coffee is actually pretty good here and I wouldn’t mind returning, perhaps on a less crowded day.

Well kept shop, the tables and floors are always spotless. What I get here: Matcha Latte, Geisha Green Tea, Moroccan Mint Tea, Breakfast Burrito, Breakfast Plate, Morning Glory, Antigua Salad. Everything is awesome(Everything is cool when you’re part of a team! I digress). They have an extensive hot beverage menu, and each drink is made carefully(not to be mistaken for slowly) — you will get your exact specifications and without your cup being a sloppy mess. The food here WINS. I love the breakfast plate — fried plantains, beans, queso fresco and an egg scramble with your meat of choice(I usually get bacon with egg whites and add some avocado). As indicated in other reviews, the breakfast burrito is huge and delicious — be careful because there is a tendency to keep eating into its scrumptiousness before your body signals tell you that you are over-satiated. Cut it in half and set one half aside… it may make for better decision-making. Service is perfect — welcoming, respectful and super accommodating. I ordered a salad today(at 8:30 in the morning) and understandably, they still had to cook the quinoa for it. First off — nice to know that the stuff has not been sitting in the fridge for who-knows-how-long. Second — Victor, the owner, offered to deliver it to my workplace(across the street), so I wouldn’t have to wait around for it. How great is that?!?

Super cute place with lots of breakfast sandwich offerings and good coffee. Had a iced Mexican mocha. Yummy! Plus an ET bagel with hummus, tomato and cucumber. Delish! Service was great and though it was a lunch time stop, I was in and out :)

This a great place to hang out and study. It’s one exit away from SFO so if you are waiting to pick someone up, tell them to call you as soon as they land — while they are going through baggage claim, you can drive over just in time to pick them up at arrivals! The coffee is good, there’s free wifi, parking was easy to find, and their breakfast sandwiches and bagels look delish. Definitely gonna try them next time I’m in the area
