I found this place through living social last year. I contacted them about the deal I was interested in. Andy was very helpful and even gave me a better deal than advertised. I was very satisfied with my visit from customer service to what I purchased. I highly recommend this optical. I’ve been to soooo many optical sand I’ve always had a bad experience. I just recently purchased a pair of glasses and I am so happy with the purchase. You will love his place!

A hidden gem! Andy is so knowledgable and friendly. No crazy sales pitch, just amazing customer service. I also had an eye exam which was done by an equally professional and knowledgeable doctor. I already sent two relatives to Thosoo because I am hooked on their brand of service.

Talk about great experience just for an eye exam! Ever gone somewhere and they just did the basics, no full explanation or advice, take ur money and come back next year routine? Welp not here!!! Where should I begin. It all started with a purchase I made on Livingsocial. Went in for my eye exam and the doctor was knowledgeable. I gave Andy my old pair and he basically matched it point for point and made it affordable. They had a huge selection to choose from. I tried out roughly 10 – 15 pairs before picking mine. I got titanium flex frames, with transition lenses, polycarbonate lenses, anti-​scratch, anti-​glare for under $ 200!!! I checked for my glasses online (usually a lot cheaper) before buying them and Andy’s price was only $ 20 – 30 bucks more. But, I got an eye exam, which I couldn’t have done with an online provider! Aside from the amazing deal and affordable price match, Andy was extremely knowledgeable and didn’t try any sleazy sales techniques. Another benefit is free tune ups! Andy promised to fix my glasses if I ran into any issues. I’ll be buying another livingsocial deal for my sisters and going back to give this brick and motor small business more of my business! We need more business like this in the neighborhood! Keep it up Andy!

Just picked up my glasses from here. Honestly one of the best buying experiences I’ve ever had. Extremely personable staff and welcoming atmosphere.
Andy was extremely nice and honest when selling you the frames. You can tell he honors his business and not just the dollar attached to it.

This store is a gem in this neighborhood. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, with no hint of a «sales-​ey» attitude. They genuinely want to help you get what you came for, whether it’s a basic pair or high-​end frames.
I came for an eye exam and frame/​lens purchase and was in and out of the store in less than 30 minutes. That’s a testament to the speed and quality of this establishment.
The prescription glasses were ready for pickup in 4 days, a tremendously fast turnaround time. All this at a very valuable price (less than 200 all-​in for the exam and purchase).
Highly recommended. I will be back should I need any other glasses in the future. Queens needs more good stores like this.

Wow what a great experience! I walked in to try on some frames and they are so friendly and helpful. They have a wide selection of frames and are patient in showing you what fits best! Not to mention I was not charged extra for my astigmatism! (other places usually charge 50 to 100 bucks) I will definitely be getting my glasses here from now on.

My experience here was simply put, awesome. The guys at the store were extremely friendly, had good business etiquette, and did not make me feel at ANY time that I was being pressured to get something. Not only this, but their prices are also super inexpensive. I got my contact lens exam done here, and it only cost $ 50. They got it done super quick, and didn’t waste any of my time. With my bad experiences at other optical stores… the fact that these guys weren’t shoving things down my throat or inflating their prices and telling me I was getting a great deal was relieving. These guys recently opened up, and are really underrated. Everyone in Queens, especially the Ozone Park area should check them out!

I have never had a better experience buying prescription frames than at Thosoo. Andy gave welcome suggestions on what frames suited my face and style, but never felt overbearing. They have a fairly large selection of glasses in all kinds of styles, with name brands like Oakley and Ray Bans and some less known and hard to find brands as well. I received my glasses fairly quickly and I was so satisfied with my experience I even got my girlfriend some Ray Bans for Christmas.

They were very friendly and professional from the moment I walked through the door. I had no idea what type of frames I was looking for but they helped me pick out a perfect frame for my style and budget. It wasn’t like other places that just try to sell you the most expensive pair. I got a good price on the frames I chose. I would definitely refer friends and family to Thosoo!

This is the only place I will be going for my kids to retrieve their eyewear. My oldest son keeps bending his eyewear frame and this place accepts my family all the time! Yes! great prices and warranty is awesome.
