YUM O! I wish there was one in Studio City! This place was amazing and the portions were huge! I had the silver noodle stir fry and mis soup and was so full I couldn’t finish it all! So good.

Great lunch combos and good vegetarian food. The pad thai was really good. Our server was very friendly.

Been here twice and had the pumpkin-​eggplant-​tofu entrée both times… I highly highly recommend! The eggplant had the perfect texture; it wasn’t overly mushy or salty and had a savory taste which meshed well with the pumpkin. Yum. I’m drooling right now just thinking about it.
The green curry and jungle curry are also drool activators. You won’t even notice that there’s no meat: p
All entrees come with brown rice and range from ~$ 9-​$ 13. Generous portions! There are other options, such as burgers, wraps, etc.
I also recommend the ‘roselle’ drink which has a flowery-​cranberry taste… Not too sweet and very refreshing! Plus it treats high blood pressure and hypertension… ;) Haha.
What’s the greatest part of eating here? I don’t feel guilty (like I gained 5 pounds after) because it’s healthy (heehee). I’ll be back!

THE CRISPY ORANGE TOFU CHANGED MY LIFE!!! Everything is so amazing. The inside is clean and quaint. The staff is so friendly. I would highly recommend.

I love this place!!! Our waiter was really nice and attentive. (: She knew what she was doing and what she was talking about. I wanted my dad to have a good impression of vegan food, and she recommended the vegan spareribs. Those were so yummy. We also got the pad see u and pad Thai. Those were so flavorful, savory, and a little sweet. I would definitely come back again! It may be cheaper than other restaurants, but it’s not actually «cheap.» Yes, their prices are lower, but their portions are extremely small. I would’ve given them five stars, if their portions were bigger. Overall, the food was still tasty and amazing!

I was very curious about vegan cuisine because they don’t use any red meat, poultry or any milk products in food. But they use soy meat substitute for red meats and poultry because it have exact protein as meat products. This is my first time at Charm Vegan the restaurant is located in a shopping center just across the street from Mama’s Brick Oven pizza and other restaurants and others shops.
This the first Thai/​Vegan restaurant I ever heard of they are many types of Vegan style restaurants around. This is my first, the restaurant have the décor flavors of Thai but the surprising thing they serve Thai-​Vegan without meat and poultry in their dishes. I was surprised people coming enjoying the food not knowing they are eat Vegan but it’s a surprise.
I was seated down and the waitress/​cashier hand me the menu she was very friendly. I was surprise all the Thai classic crusine are vegan I was very skeptic how the flavors of the traditional Thai classic will taste like that was big worry. It was hard choice I love Thai food but this my first Thai-​Vegan experience and I decided to get the Thai spice wrap it have soy chicken, mint, onions, and lime sauce it also come with a side salad and fries how unusual fries in a vegan meal hey comes from a potato get use to it.
The waitress brought me my meal it looks very nice. The Thai spice wrap was hold really tight like a burrito one bite will tell it all. OMG!!! The Thai spice wrap was so good so much flavors including the mint that’s bring together also the soy chicken and lime sauce I really love it being my first time eat vegan. I probably might turning vegan or vegetarian in the future but I still love my meat but wouldn’t change yet.
The side salad was really good the dressing was incredible good with good Thai flavor. The French fries were very good I enjoy it. Overall I enjoy the vegan meal at Charm Vegan I would be back soon and service was great.

I’m giving Charm Vegan a 4 Star rating because I felt so rushed by the server. Mind you, there was one family with a small child. I don’t know why I was trying to be thrown out. It wasn’t busy, it was not the last hour of the day, nor was I rude to be treated like an obnoxious customer.
Food was good but geez don’t rush customers out!

This place is waaaaay too vegan. This is coming from a former vegetarian.
I came here and got the pineapple fried rice, thinking it would still be good without the chicken. Wrong. They filled it up with millions of veggies that don’t even belong in pineapple fried rice. Carrots, broccoli, & butternut squash?! It honestly completely ruined the dish. They also used the wrong type of rice. I didn’t even finish my plate.
The additional star is for the good thai iced tea.

First time trying their Roselle drink and absolutely love it! Roselle is related to Hibiscus. It reminds me of cranberry juice but less tangy and tastes so much more delicious.
They also have the best fried wontons.

Big carnivore checking in here! But the Lord only asks us to not indulge in meat once in a while during this time of year.
Charm Vegan lives up to the name. It’s charming but most importantly, pretty darn delicious. This is the best vegan food I’ve had yet.
Ordered the Orange chicken (not chicken)-zesty and crunchy. I love the portions too! This dish will make you feel like you stuffed yourself silly on meat but you didn’t! That’s the best part.
Also ordered the Pumpkin Eggplant stir fry with soy meat. This was my favorite dish of the night. Soy meat and eggplant make for great meat substitutes. It’s the closet thing to meat. An analogy I would use, is that if you were looking for intercourse sex, this would be the best handjob you’ve ever received. I am very satisfied (almost)! It’s seriously delicious and well flavored. It could have me fooled until the last bit of firm texture that’s chewed reminds me that I’m not eating meat. Can’t complain, I feel like I got to indulge without killing an animal today!
Service is impeccable. They are very sweet and informative. Give them a good tip if you can.

Cute little place! The service was delightful and the food was grand! Good plate presentation. I took advantage of the lunch special which came with miso soup, ginger salad, and a spring roll. Everything was hot and flavorful. I have no reservations about recommending this place.

I really like the food from this place I ordered pad thai with tofu and chicken satay with thai tea and boba and I loved it. delivery was really fast. oh yeah the only thing they forgot to put was forks but luckily I was in my house, but I would definitely order from here again.

We found this place through either Groupon or Living Social quite some time ago. We happen to be in the area, so we had to go back!
The food came out quickly. Great food. The papaya salad was SO GOOD. My daughter had one of the tofu entrée dishes which included brown rice.
Small little restaurant in a mini mall. Clean and cute. Good service. My only gripe is that my getting a refill on water was a little slow. A rating.
Free shared parking.
Definitely coming back.

Came here on a whim. This place is so charming, great menu options and service is A+ with a genuine smile!
About 85% is gluten free except fried stuff and portabello mushroom bun.

This place is a charm!

Love love love Charm Vegan. We have tried many things from the menu and have been happy with all of it. My favorite is the Pad broccoli with beefless strips and the crispy orange chicken. Miso soup is also very good and you can’t beat the price with their lunch special which includes soup, salad and your entrée.

This place is fantastic and I’m not even vegan. Try their pineapple rice or their kung pao with soy meat. Delicious. Everything is extremely tidy and they treat you really nice.

From the outside, this looks like just another café. My boyfriend and I came here on the recommendation of a friend and we were blown away. We got the jungle curry (you pick the spicy level), orange «chicken» tofu (this is even better than you think), and the pad Thai (tangy and simple). We also got a miso soup (big enough to share for two! Not those skimpy sushi size miso soups either).
The portion sizes our big, unlimited refills of brown rice, and the tofu is ORGANIC. Seriously what more could you ask for?

We’ve been going here for years. In my opinion, it’s the best Thai vegan food in the area. The owner and employees are so nice and they remembered my husband and me even the second time we went in. I recommend the «jungle curry», the pumpkin fried rice, and the panang burger, and the chicken satay is my favorite appetizer. The décor was tacky until recently; they redecorated and it looks much better. Price is very reasonable too.

My wife and I love Charm Vegan.
We order the Pineapple Friend Rice and the Crispy Orange Chicken. Those are the primary dishes we order, there are other items that we order too depending on our moods.
The consistency is excellent, that’s very important when dining out and the food is excellent!
The Owners are ALWAYS very welcoming! We will keep coming back!

Thanks to Groupon, we were able to try this place on two separate occasions. Both times the service was excellent. The portion on all their dishes are very generous, enough for two meals.
As other reviews have said, the Crispy Orange Tofu is excellent! Right amount of crunch and not overly sweet, this is definitely a dish I can eat all my myself. You have to get this when you come.
The Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp was interesting. It is on the sweet side. So if you don’t like your fried rice sweet, don’t get it. Oh they also add raisins to the fried rice which was rather unique.
For those that like ginger, be sure to get the Ginger Mushroom (with Shrimp). Lots of ginger and also very light.
If I’m ever in the neighborhood and have a sudden vegan craving, I would definitely stop by this place!

Came here with our good friends Martha and Lorena one day because we had a Living Social or Groupon deal. Can’t remember which of those we had lol!
Service is great! The server was really nice and she came around asking if we wanted more tea at the right times! Oh, and the tea is great!
The place is small and lies in a strip mall with lots of parking.
We had the coconut chicken soup which was weak.
We had the Pad See Ew which was good.
The only negative factor here was that strange people seemed to abound inside and outside. You know, shady people outside and grungy disheveled people that probably haven’t showered inside. It’s not like they outnumbered the normal people but still…

Four stars! This place is really ridiculously good!

You need to stop what your doing and come here and eat. If their green curry lunch special is any indication the rest of their menu selections, I was salivating while trying to choose, will be off the hook! I had a glass of their new offering, lemongrass juice, and it was great. Sweetened with agave, the juice is light, refreshing, and delightfully delicious.
Other touches made it out of the ordinary. Their plates, silverware, and food presentation are way above what you would expect for a mom-​and-​pop eatery in a strip mall.

One of my favorite vegan place at Pasadena! I went here during lunch time special, the best time to go! Their lunch meals come with rice, egg roll, salad, and soup with almost $ 1-​$ 2 cheaper than the dinner entrée price without the extras! Also i used $ 20 groupon voucher, so it was such a steal. The only thing is I ordered waaaay too much coz I didn’t know the lunch special come with many extras. I was soo full! So here’s what I ordered…
*Pad Thai with soy chicken — pretty much tastes like a yummy pad thai but healthier lol. It wasn’t dry too and huge portion for $ 7.95
*Red Curry with tofu — oooh so yummy!!! So flavorful, even with mild spice it was still pretty hot. So many veggies with it too so you definitely get your money’s worth for just $ 7.95
*Crispy Orange tofu — this one basically tastes like orange chicken but softer and smaller than chicken lol. It’s good, but not my fave.
*thai ice tea — made with almond milk, very much like a regular thai ice tea, doesn’t taste so sugary or powdery, or old. I liked it.
Service was superb. The place was tiny and it wasn’t busy, so the lady was basically very attentive to us. She was supernice too.
Overall 4+ for food and service. Price for dinner is abit on the pricey side for entrees, so definitely go during lunch!

Placed a delivery order through the eat 24 app at 845. Delivery estimate was 45 – 60 minutes. The driver was here at 910. Awesome! Food came nice and hot (; I could tell by the steam still coming out. I ordered the veggie delight dish and it was yummy. They sure didn’t skimp on the soy fish! I wished there were more veggies instead of tofu or soy meat but it’s not that big of a deal. Also had the avocado rolls. Very refreshing appetizer. Good place to order delivery from. Quick and efficient.

I am the owner of Charm Vegan restaurant. Since our kitchen specifically serves the non-​meat items, it is our policy to disallow our patrons to bring meat items to eat in our dining room. We do enforce this rule pretty seriously to avoid contamination, but not discrimination. A gentleman brought food items cooked with meat into the restaurant to eat with his children who were eating vegan food in our place. We informed him that he cannot eat meat in our place. He yelled and threatened if we dare to kick him out. To accommodate him, we told him he can sit in the patio instead.
While we understand that parents want to sit with their own kids, ones have to follow the rule. This gentleman does not want to follow the rule and felt he can destroy us by writing bad about us. He threatened us that he will write a bad review on us everyday. I do hope our patrons understand our position. And I hope this gentleman knows how to follow the rule in the future.

Ordered this online, free and quick delivery
Mango Sticky Rice– horrifying, tasted just like rubber … Also no coconut milk sauce on the side!!! They left me with a slab of lightly sweet rice and a mint leaf to pull it off. which didn’t. Also this was $ 6.99 and the portion was not acceptable.
Pad thai lunch– I told them less salt less oil. They did a good job of it and I’m glad the noodles didn’t stick. Also comes with side of wild rice and egg roll, and salad.
Green curry lunch– YUCK! I told them less oil less salt… The curry was literally fiery water. come on… Unseasoned curry= real BS. The vegetables didn’t look intriguing either mostly because of the bland curry.
So this is it. I’m a vegan and I can assure you that even non vegan restaurants are better):

I’m a meat eater but love vegan meats. Texture and flavor of orange soy chicken is delicious here. Tangy flavor, crispy but not wet with glaze like regular orange chicken. My favorite dish! Also loved the satay chicken appetizer. Sliced thin and flattened on a skewer. Perfect foundation to layer the pickled veggie and peanut sauce on top.
What I won’t order next time are stuff you can get at other thai restos. I like bold flavors but they prefer to let the ingredients subtly shine on their own. In other words, the flavors are right but muted. Drunken noodles were bland. Same with the pumpkin and eggplant curry.
Service puts the charm in Charm in Charm Vegan. Absolutely sweet!
They carry vegan desserts too like carrot cake, tiramisu, coconut cake. I was too stuffed from eating so much of their chewy brown rice.
I can’t wait to go back.

In my never-​ending search for great vegetarian options in my neighborhood, I bought a couple of Groupons for Charm Vegan and visited twice, here’s how it shook out:
(+) Thai Spice wrap: Flavorful and light, fresh, great mix of textures, delicious
(+) Yellow curry: Filling entrée, mildly spicy, I love potatoes and delicious
(+) Sweet potato fries: Seasoned well, great texture, I love potatoes and delicious
(+) Coconut cake: Not too sweet, perfectly moist and somewhat dense (just how I like my desserts!)
(+) Service: Very attentive on both occasions
(+) Ambience: No real frills but still inviting enough and encourages guests to focus on food and friends
(+) Inexpensive and perfect portion sizes
(-) Tempura appetizer was soggy and lacked seasoning
(-) Sautéed eggplant entrée was too oily for my liking
Overall I’ll definitely be returning to try out other options from their extensive menu!
